A good laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great! The only issue I have is not with the chrome book itself, it’s more the operating system. The operating system does not work well with government sights, so if you are in the military and have things to do on government sites I would not recommend a chrome book, but for anything else you need to use it for, it will be fine.

solid laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed this for college, its very solid, but the OS is Chromebook as it clearly says, it blocks you for everything so always go for a laptop with windows, but make sure it isn't lenovo because they are scum.

Just buy a Dell laptop and AVOID CHROMEBOOK
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Chromebook is a fairly decent computer. I used it for the remaining bits of my senior year in high school and it served me well. Though it was a great laptop, it obviously has its faults. Actually, the greatest fault is that it is a Chromebook. The operating system is not compatible with Microsoft products. I mean... even a Macbook has compatibilities with Microsoft products. You cannot even view files, convert them into viewable files, or even download Microsoft files via the web browser. Microsoft products (e.g. Word, PDF, etc.) are available via the Chrome extensions, but it is terrible at assisting with this issue. If you want to constantly find yourself asking Google how to "do [insert completely reasonable thing to do on a laptop for school here]" then please at least buy a computer that runs Windows as the operating system. Also quick note: the regular things you would usually install via download through your browser NOW have to either be downloaded as a Chrome extension or through the App Store on Chrome. The App Store functions just like a mobile app, so the apps you install there will likely not be compatible with your computer and will crash frequently. (e.g. forget Spotify. Unless you like desktop versions of your favorite VERY NORMAL computer applications.

does all it is supposed to do - and I hate it
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a Chromebook this unit performs well. I just do not like the operating system and everything being an app. I would return if I could and get a PC

Not worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm really disappointed in this laptop and wish I had purchased a different brand. The keypad stopped working after 4 months. Samsung had me send it in to repair and it came back damaged and with an older OS installed, causing me to lose a year of updates. My 5 year old Acer is still working.

Not a Good Buy At All!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned the item because it was ZERO compatible with any program I tried to use. The only purpose for this Chromebook is to surf the internet. The operating system does not support downloads of any kind.
