I purchased this cooktop in December and it arrived yesterday. This induction cooktop replaced an electric cooktop. The install was easy and only took my husband about 20 minutes. Samsung had a great offer of some free cookware if I left a review. So, "I received compensation for this review but the review is my own”.* One of the first things I tested was boiling water. I wanted to see if it would boil as fast as some of the Youtube videos said it would. It does. This model is very basic compared to some of the induction cooktops out there, but most of the ones with more features were backordered and since not all of the burners on my old cooktop worked, I really needed something fairly quickly. This has more features than a standard electric cooktop so it is definitely an upgrade from my previous cooktop. It is easy to use and looks great. The Best Buy employees that delivered the cooktop were very nice and courteous. I have had other Samsung products (Refrigerator and phones) and have been pleased with them as well. If you have never owned a glass cooktop before, I would recommend you clean your cooktop regularly with the Weiman Glass Cook Top Cleaner and Polisher. It works great.

Boils water in a flash! Easy to keep clean! Easy to use! Love it! Induction is the way to go!

We bought the Samsung 30" Smart Induction Cooktop w/ Wi-Fi, along with Delivery/Installation, weeks before our Home Remodel was ready to accept it, but Best Buy was accommodating and said to just tell them when. We did have to work with our General Contractor to ensure the model we picked could be accommodated by our cabinets. The Installers called/arrived as scheduled for a quick easy installation. One needs Induction Ready Cookware and although we had two sets already, this gave us the opportunity to upgrade. We cooked some of the Thanksgiving meal on it and it was perfect.

I received compensation for this review but the review is my own. This is an entry priced induction stovetop. It definitely cooks quickly and evenly. The largest burner doesn’t seem to be hot all the way across. Overall so far I’m happy with this purchase.

Product is ok when it works. The digital control screen works poorly. Hard to operate if its dirty or there is grease on it. Weve had to shut off the circuit breaker a few times to reboot the controls. It is very frustrating. When it works it cooks fine. Glass scratches easily and it doesnt clean up well.

It worked fine for three months. I didn’t cook often, maybe 7 times and now the big burner won’t work and shows a U error.

Love the induction top! Fast to heat up, quiet when in use. Easy to clean. The touch buttons can be a bit finicky. Wish I could control the cooktop functions on the app, but those are my only two gripes.

The cooktop is amazing, the first third-party installation company hauled away my old gas cooktop and tried to install it and found not matched, then I asked granite cut company cut 1/2 inches and called Best Buy again, then another third-party installation company sent one gentleman to install the new cooktop, but he just hooked up the wires on the electric junction box without any connectors. A local city technician found this is violation of the city safety code without connectors, so I have to call the Best Buy again.

Learning to cook with induction has been interesting, but we love it. This cooktop is really good, but we do have a couple dislikes. The capacitice buttons are super sensitive to liquid and the cooktop notifies you of a constant button push. It also feels like the burners are either too small or aren't spaced out enough. We do like it and would buy it again.

I have owned this for nine months and used “ lightly”. It no longer works. Dealing with Samsung for something that’s under warranty is like pulling teeth. I have now been without a cooktop for almost 5 weeks. I have a service ticket - but can’t schedule an appointment with that company. Won’t return calls or emails. I will NEVER buy any thing Samsung again. I have had the Samsung refrigerator and was pleased so I bought the cooktop. Never again. Will I ever get this resolved? Who knows!

Great Cooktop, Replaced an older cooktop that was very slow when boiling water and cooking. This new cooktop ranges from heat levels up to 15 and can boil water in half the time than the previous one (3min-5min)

I love the cooktop's appearance. It is easy to keep spotless with stovetop cleaner. The controls are easy to use and to understand. I would have given it 5 stars but the control digital buttons worked best when using my right hand. (I am left-handed)

I replaced a Samsung with a motherboard problem with a GE cooktop. Then I went back to Samsung when I couldn’t use my induction pans on the elements unless they were the perfect size. The Samsung is easy to use, quiet, and has good sizes and placement of the elements. Practically perfect, but make sure you buy the extended warranty because the electronics are $$$ to replace.

We love it so much, we've bought a 2nd one for a house we just bought. No knobs to get dirty and super fast cooking. But don't buy it if you need it soon. Our 2nd one is going to take almost 2 months before it will be delivered. Also, if they are still offering the free Circulon pots and pans don't expect them soon. Ours took over 4 months to arrive.

The power is superb, reaching a high temp immediately. It's very quick to cook. Handling is also quite simple and easy. I'm quite satisfied with the product.

Wasn’t prepared for the buzzing, especially when it’s trying to sustain a temp and goes on and off intermittently, but overall it’s a great cooktop and I’m super happy with it!
