I am on a mac and use the multiple desktop features (multiple desktops I can swipe through on each monitor) heavily so I knew it would impact my workflow. Totally worth it. It serves as a reliable hub for laptop, so much faster to log-in than the software I relied on previously (Display Link) to handle the dual monitors. Most importantly, it got rid of glitch issues caused by that software. For me, the only negative is that it requires more space than expected behind the stand's monitor so the monitor ends up sitting further forward on my small desk than I would prefer. I bought mine on sale for around half it's normal cost so can't complain, but I would have a hard time justifying the full price. If it ever goes on sale again, I will be buying more for my staff.

My main purpose is for data entry and i found the display to be too high def to view it comfortably. I’m sure it would be great for gaming, etc. My main complaint is that the base was very large and took up too much space on my desk top.

18 months later and it's dead.

When I power this monitor on there's about a half inch of screen at the bottom that doesn't display anything but a green bar for the first 10 minutes. It blinked at first, but now it stays longer and longer. This failure aside, the monitor was still not great. It had some pretty significant bleeding on dark screens. I'm not sure what the Thunderbolt port was for aside from show. I never got it to work on my laptop. For some reason Samsung won't let you select an Input, it can only cycle through inputs, so switching between devices by cycling inputs is also pretty painful. I saw some complaints about the foot/stand and the cable route, but I didn't have any problem with either of these things. Supposedly the monitor will sit lopsided if the stand fails, but that didn't happen. I will say that it was pretty wobbly. I couldn't keep my webcam on it because touching my desk made it look like there was an earthquake happening. Anyway, super disappointed in this purchase. Strongly recommend you keep shopping instead of picking this one up.
