This is our second Samsung washer. They are very reliable and that's why we purchased our second as a matching set with the dryer. I chose to build my own pedestal instead of spending $299 each. The washer gets the clothes really clean and they smell great when they come out. The washer has little to no vibration and the onyx color looks great! This washer has more options than I will ever use. Highly recommend!

Needed to replace a 10yr old washer and decided on Samsung for its simple feature set along with the best price and value. Minutes after installing it performed several washes flawlessly and I was amazed at all the added features this model had compared to its replacement. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I really do like this washer. We purchased it after fighting our old one for months. This thing probably has more cycles than I will use, but options are nice. It cleans the clothes great and the change in my water bill has been nice. My only really complaint is that some of the cycles take forever to finish (2:26 for sanitize). I've learned to deal with it and save those loads for when I'm leaving or going to bed. Oh and "speed wash" cannot be used with all cycle settings.

Love my washer and dryer! It looks like a command station in my laundry room. The installation process by Best Buy went very fast and I've had clean laundry since install. Can't wait to use the various settings!

Overall, the machine does a great job. Clothes come out clean, there are lots of options for the cycles, the capacity is enormous, the machine is quiet and doesn't even vibrate during the ridiculously fast spin cycle that makes a dryer almost superfluous. Niggling gripes: When you turn it on, it takes about 5 seconds to 'boot up', which is crazy. The cycles can run really long, and much longer than the time estimate originally shown. The 'cycle done' theme song is nice, but too quiet to hear throughout the house. After the cycle, you have to turn it on again, and wait for it to boot up, to turn on the drum light to see if you've gotten all the clothes out.

We bought this unit along with the matching dryer in April of 2015 to upgrade our existing units. Best buy had the lowest price and gave a free pedestal with the purchase which my wife loved. The delivery went flawless and the performance of the machine is great! I can't believe how much cleaner our clothes are! It is quiet and can handle even our king size comforter!

Have been using the washer for almost a month now and am very happy with everything so far. My clothes are coming out clean and the spin cycle spins them almost dry. The washer is very quiet during the entire cycle and I am able to fit A LOT of clothes into a load! I like the option of picking the spin cycle (low to high) and also the delay start feature.

This was my first Samsung purchase and I have no regrets in making the move. The washer is efficient, quiet and most importantly fit into the space that traditional washers and dryers occupy. Many of the new machines are getting bigger and bigger which would have required taking out cabinetry. This was an excellent purchase.

We didn't have the best experience with the delivery through best buy, however after the 3rd Washer we received, this one is great! The first one we bought the clothes came out after the load with dog hair still on everything and clothes still partially dry. However, THIS Washer has been great! No issues, clothes come out clean! And so quiet! So many options/settings too!

I read a number of reviews on this machine and most were positive. We have had zero problems with this machine since it was delivered a month ago. We made sure to use the right liquid detergent rated for front loaders and it does a great job of cleaning although it does take longer that the top loader we used to have. Typical of front loaders though. We used the sanitizing cycle to sanitize some towels, wash cloths and kitchen hand towels. Beats using bleach and towels came out very clean and odor free instead of that bleachy or musty smell they used to have that we couldn't get rid of without bleach before. One last thing - it's a very quiet machine and doesn't vibrate when it spins.

I had a front loader previously, but it was an LG, and I had nothing but issues with it. I couldn't be happier with this Samsung. Not only do my clothes come out much drier after the spin cycle, there is also not a lot of water left in the rubber gasket of the machine. Almost all the water is wicked away through the drain holes at the bottom of the gasket. I anticipate that I will have a lot fewer issues with smell or mildew. The thing that really sold me on this machine is the fact that it has a clean cycle. Now I can keep it smelling fresh. Lastly, the color is beautiful.

The washing machine is very simple to operate and the steam wash leaves loads very fresh and clean. The noise and vibration is minimal, the washer auto-correct its shaking during a spin mode even without the special washer feet. But remember to level all the feet before first operating. In my opinion, this machine washes better than commercial laundromat machines without the hassle. I am extremely satisfied. By the way, the machine can wash a queen sized comforter very effectively.

I needed a washer to replace a unit that broke down during the middle of a wash cycle while my wife was out of the country. I happened to find this particular unit on sale as an opened return unit that hadn't been installed or used. If not for the discounted price, I probably wouldn't have considered this particular unit. That having been said, I'm very pleased with this washer - it offers a wide range of settings that are easy to understand, even to a laundry neophyte like me. Even better, my wife (upon her return home) was very pleased with the machine, and even more so when she learned of the steep discount. We both very much appreciate that the washer is so much more economical than a top-load unit, but it took some serious 'getting used-to' dialing down the amount of detergent we used during a normal cycle. We don't use liquid fabric softener on a regular basis. Loading detergents, bleach, and liquid fabric softener (if you use it) is quite easy - a slide-out drawer on the top left front makes it easy to load. I found that several detergent manufacturers have begun making these little 'pillows' of detergent/softener/rinse aids that you just toss in with the clothes at the beginning of the cycle. They're a little more expensive than the bottles of detergent, but WAY more convenient, so a good choice if you're a neophyte like me. You MUST be aware of the type of detergent you use (HE only!) and how much to use during a normal cycle. Overuse of detergents and liquid fabric softeners can lead to a plethora of problems, the most obvious of which is a powerful stink in the washer that comes from bacteria and mold. The bacterial buildup comes from the leftover sludge from detergent/softener overuse - the sludge captures every kind of mold spore floating in the air and provides a warm, moist environment in which to grow MORE mold, and before you know it your machine will stink. We became aware of this condition thanks to my daughter who has had a front loader for some time and cautioned me not to buy a front loader because of it. Doing some online research explained the issue - what causes it (using the wrong detergents and liquid fabric softeners, and using too much), and how to prevent it (use the right kinds and amounts of detergent, reduce or eliminate the use of liquid fabric softeners, and leave the door slightly ajar after each load to allow the machine to dry out inside), and if you've already got the stink from mold buildup, how to remove it ( put a half-cup of white vinegar into each load during the final rinse cycle. Vinegar is a natural fabric softener that won't leave that 'vinegar' smell at the end of the cycle. Adding a half-cup during the final rinse over several wash cycles will eventually remove the sludge build-up, which will get rid of the smell coming from your washer. As an FYI to parents of infants/toddlers - all baby clothing made now is required to be flame retardant. Most fabric softeners will interfere with this, actually making the clothing catch fire more quickly. Vinegar will not interfere with the material's flame retardancy. Since this unit is new, and we became aware of the smell issue before it became a problem, we've managed to avoid the issue. But I shared the above suggestions with my daughter, who confirms that they do work to remove the smell. We really like this washing machine for it's combination of features, it's ease of use, and it's appearance. As long as you use the proper additives in the recommended amounts, your clothes will come out looking great. READ the manual that comes with it to learn about all the features and settings your machine has to offer, and take advantage of them. We would highly recommend this machine to a friend, with the caveat that it comes with a hefty price tag.

Our old washing machine was dying but the dryer was ok. We chose to junk both and after much research bought the washer dryer stackable units. The previous top loader was said to be a better choice to front loaders but after extensive research we decided that times have changed and a big front loader was economical on power and water, plus reliever cleaner washes. You need to get HE detergents, but that adds value to the wash! Go for this if you need to replace your top loading washer & dryer laundry center. You will not regret it. By the way order the stacking kit. You probably need it even if not recommended as an accessory. We did.

The washer works great. It is very large and quiet. It has a lot of settings which can be confusing. The sanitize setting takes over 2 hours for the cycle. A regular wash is 40-50 minutes. Longer than my old washer but the clothes come out clean and dryer.

I went into Best Buy to look at top loaders. After talking to the saleman I decided the front loader was the way to go. I can't tell you how much I love it!! My husband and I fight over who is going to do laundry! The clothes come out so much cleaner and smell wonderful. Plus they're practically dry when done because the spin cycle is so effective. It is also extremely quiet!! Best money I've ever spent.

Washer is efficient and quiet. Only issue is support has to come out to fix the door as it won't always lock properly. Hopefully it's fixed once they work on it. Otherwise it's a great machine.
