Awesome tv with an incredible picture. The settings required very little tweaking at startup for that perfect picture feel. The 4k and hdr are just great. Black levels are excellent. It handles pc games in native 4k that look freaking awesome. It upscales 1080p from cable and consoles flawlessly. The built in wifi hasn't lagged once, even while streaming 4k. The remote had me worried because it's so minimalistic and I'm used to something more, yet this remote pulls it off well. It even controls my cable box and receiver if I want it to. The reason I won't give it five stars is because I have to keep doing a soft reset where you hold the power button down until it restarts. Once because the onscreen source input selection disappeared and 4 times so far it wouldn't log into netflix, minor issues since it's an easy fix but still annoying..

This is the brightest best defined image I've ever seen. The colors can actually be tuned to present more vividly than in real life. Sound quality is fine with totally adequate bass without a surround system. Smart functions easily navigated. Chrome bezel is the best looking tv housing currently available.

Went looking to buy a tv with something else in mind. It wasn't on sale so ended up buying this tv. Finally something went my way. This tv is unbelievable. Best picture I have ever seen on a tv. Setup was easy. Everything just works and works beautifully.

This Samsung tv delivers a clear picture, is easy to operate and the best is that once is connected to my wi-fi is like using my computer good picture and connectivity.

Nice bright sharp 4K display. It has a great picture until you get too far off center, the blacks are good but not great and it's best in a room with plenty of light. Smart features and voice control work well, the sound is abysmal so it's best to connect an additional audio system. I've read mixed reviews about the detached HDMI hub, for my setup it's a great feature as I never have to reach behind the TV. The lighted Samsung logo (on bottom frame) is too bright for dark rooms but you can turn it off. Be sure you read up on auto dim Eco settings or you'll think you got a bad unit.

Terrific picture and I haven't even realized the tv's potential. I have still yet to upgrade my A/V receiver, xbox or HDMI cables, but viewing youtube 4k videos the vivid color detail is astonishing. Red's glow, Blue's illuminate, I can see a very noticeable difference from my sold 1080P Samsung to my upgrade. I have had issues with the remote trying to turn the volume down, the remote has a combined volume and channel button side by side that I haven't spent the time to figure out. Also my tv did a firmware update and I haven't been able to browser the web or access the smart tv for weeks now. Minor issues I hope to fix soon but otherwise Samsung is the undisputed best picture in television.

Minimal compromise and great value. Purchased to replace our LCD 55" Vizio. I can say this was worth it!!!! Bright, clear, responsive and easy set up. The 9000 series has better material on back of TV but other than that no real visible difference. Down side - short 6' power cable, and need for longer Samsung oneconnect cable if you are mounting on wall in corner on articulating arm - through wall to entertainment center.

When bought this television thought that all those of the series 8000 should be identical only the difference would be the size of the screen.The design of this TV is completely different from the rest of the 8000 series. The series 8000 has a quarter of inch on the bezel this model has more than half inch,One of the reasons by which bought this TV thinking that was identical to the rest in every picture of this TV on the Internet on the website of Samsung or Best Buy show that it has the small edge but when you take out of the box is completely different Although I like the image I am very disappointed with the design and I'll return.

Very pleased and enjoying the Samsung 8500 series . Set up was flawless and very user friendly . Picture clarity is fantastic with just regular HD reception. Adding Bluetooth devices was smooth and easy. I really can not think of anything negitive to say about this television . I have had it for over three weeks now . All good.

Very much more than a TV, but simple in its complexity. Easy to setup, easy to use, and fantastic - I mean Fantastic- quality in viewing. The picture is flawless. I hesitated on the extra $$ for the "S" UHD, but I shouldn't have worried, it is well worth it. What a T.V.!

I am very satisfied with my purchase! This TV is great for streaming Netflix and Amazon prime, without having to use a device. The TV is thin and looks great on the wall.

Pros: 4K video, HDR, wifi connect, built in browser, voice command remote, beautiful picture quality, one connect box eliminates cables in the back of your television (which is especially annoying when its on a wall). The one connect box provided has 4 HDMI inputs, RF cable (for over the air television), optical out (for audio), two USB 2.0 ports. This smart tv also has "smart security" for real time monitoring of network threats. You can surf YouTube for 4K videos on the TV, and there are a whole bunch of built in apps for other movie accounts (amazon prime, netflix, hulu, hbo, etc...). Cons: If you have an XBOX 360 with component inputs, you can either buy a new one connect box (like the SEK3500U, which is $399), or you can get something like the CE Labs HSC20 Component and Audio to HDMI Upscaler from Wallmart (for $66.76 online).

Picture quality on this tv is beautiful. And this tv performs perfectly for gaming. Would highly recommend this product for anyone.

Love my new Samsung. The picture is unbelievable. The functions and SMART size of the TV are easy to get to and control. The only thing I miss on this model is the pointer.

Awesome resolution your just like part of the scene. I can't say anything more, love this tv with magic remote easy to navigate with voice commands.

I have had this TV now for around 2.5 yrs now and it's still going strong, I couldn't be happier with it.
