It was wrapped when I picked it up so I couldn't see anything. When I got it home it was dented badly and scratched. I didn't really care as it would never be seen by anyone else. The 1st day was fine, the 2nd day it started making a grinding noise. Brought it back and bought a new samsung, a little different model. Love the newer one and even the older 1 we threw away was a samsung and we liked it. So, it probably is a good machine but, I really can't say.

The dryer is much better now, but it is no where near worth the price tag. I put medium-sized loads to dry and often times the clothes are still wet. I have had to run a cycle multiple times to get it fully dried. Now it is no where near as bad as the washer in this set, but to pay $1,200 for this and it has trouble drying my clothes? That is unacceptable. When I initially got it installed by Best Buy and the professionals realized they were faulty on arrival, they told me the majority of their complaints for Washers/Drivers comes from Samsung. That was a huge red flag for me but I persevered. Well the washer has totally ruined my ability to wash, so I am no longer dealing with this dryer issue either.

Not the Best Dryer

Excellent features but sensor issue

The eloquent controls, smart interactions with the matching Samsung washer, and integration with Smart Things are all great! But around a month in the dry detection sensor stopped working. So i could only do Timed Dry setting. If not for that I would give it 5 stars. Samsung did honor its warranty and is in the process of exchanging this dryer through Best Buy for a new one. Crossing fingers on this one.
