An excellent purchase & pairing of this sound bar w/55” tv in my limited space. If you simply appreciate better sound quality (not surround sound) than the tv speakers, this is the choice. Easy set up….just be sure your HDMI cables, if applicable, are securely connected. Love the center speaker & the convenience of using my direct tv remote. I purchased an open box. There were no written instructions but internet provided info for troubleshooting.

We love it period ! We didn’t need anything fancy for our small apartment living room. This works great for us. Plenty of sound for the room without disturbing our neighbors.

Awesome lil soundbar that smoothly connects with any samsung tv. Powerful and cinematic sound. This was a great buy that i want to connect one to my living room tv. I currently have a bose and is till have to use 2 remotes the bose one to co trol the sound. With samsung its one remote to control the tv and soundbar. I didnt feel a need for a sunwoofer or extra speakers the soundbar by itself os powerful enough.

I would have given this product 5 stars if it was just for the sound bar. What I mean is the sound bar is loud and works great when connect to the tv through blue tooth, hdmi, or optical. But when paired to the Samsung wireless rear speakers and Samsung wireless subwoofer, it’s a different story. You have to use the right cable, and have the TV set to the correct setting for it to all work properly, and i figured I out by luck. If I hadn’t figured it out, I still be watching movies have the rear speakers loose connection to the sound bar out of nowhere and kind ruin the movie. And even though I figured out and now everything works harmoniously STILL at random at LOT LESS then before (like once a month) sound bar looses connection to the tv. And I have to unplug it and reset it. Price + Difficulty Setting up = 3 Star Value

Good sound for a decent price. Would recommend for a budget soundbar. You also have an option to add a subwoofer if you need extra bass.

Have this set up with the LG CX and the audio was definitely not bad for the price. But had a surprising issue where the soundbar no longer has an eARC option. It completely skips HDMI eARC input thats after Digital Audio In and goes straight to Bluetooth. Having to look for a fix now even though i just recently purchased this. Will have to look for a refund if not possible to fix.

The Samsung Soundbar, HW-S50A 3.0ch All-in-One Soundbar w/ DTS Virtual: X, has great quality sound clear and crisp to details in English and other languages, no lag in sound quality of TV, movies, music, etc., and a superiority built item. This item, takes up less space than my normal set-up of surround sound with many excellence in features. But, as my wife also likes the less space of the item, she points out it misses bass (just not enough); I prefer less bass than her so it has no bother to me (personally). I also love the less hassle of many cords and easy ability to “Bluetooth” many different items. Furthermore, within this item I enjoy the tap feature of streaming music, quickly and easy to do, so I can work on projects in another room and still have wonderful sound (nearby). I personally could not find the specs of the room size it would be most likely to have the best sound quality. In turn, I feel it should go in my “den”, since not as much sq. ft. in this area, compared to other areas in my home, to which an item such as this would be used. Only feature I would like is if I could, would be to customize the outside of the soundbar in a different color to match my home décor. In turn, I cannot give it a perfect 5/5 but very close to my liking so a 4.75.

A wonderful up-grade to my home for both personal enjoyment and work related functions. When I first opened the box I was surprised at how large my Samsung SoundStand was in relation to this product. The HW-S50A 3.0ch All-in-One Soundbar w/ DTS Virtual: X is about 1 in longer and about ½ to 1 in thicker; but the difference in width is amazing ( much smaller). It also comes with a bracket to mount the item, which I will be having my husband install. In turn I have more room without the SoundStand in the area. Some of my pro’s for this is its simplicity to function. It actually informs you USB, Bluetooth, etc. And pairing items to it is quite simple with using Bluetooth upon my television and cellphone. It equates to having many less cords running all over the place. The sound is bold, clear, and with having a middle speaker it makes you feel like you are having an immersive experience. The tap function upon the soundbar is genius. It is quick and offers seamless transition from my cellphone to the soundbar. A pleasant educational QR on how Samsung is going green on the box itself I liked the color and tiny polka dots (would have liked it better if the soundbar too was this color). Dislikes thus far is the color and texture of the item’s fabric. I feel animal hair and/or lint might be an easy target/attractant for this item. The remote also does not match the fabric color/texture. At times it is easier to find the correct remote based upon the physical resemblance of the two. The item is also lacking enough bass for my liking. But Samsung has also come up with a fix for that (SWA-W500), which I intend to buy. With the pros and cons, I feel the performance of this item outweighs the drab looks and lack of bass. It is a well-made item that enhances my daily enjoyment and makes life easier.

The HW-S50A All in one sound bar is far more superior in looks and sound to 30 inch equivalents and at the low price also include DTS Virtual:X technology, also has an option to add a subwoofer (which we plan to buy too) and optical input. The sound bar is modern designed and even the packaging is stylish and easy to unwrap and install. The soundbar does not come with an optical cable, however I used an existing one to connect it to my TV and was very easy to get it started. We current using it to watch netflix and amazon prime movies and love the Virtual:X feature and only without TV sound. Furthermore the audio guidance in conjunction with remote makes the navigation simplified and effective. This is well recommended.

One of the few soundbars that is not a big black blob that you try to hide away. Awesome sound, tons of connection options. well thought out remote. fabric finish is an elegant touch.

I’ve had this sound bar for just under two years now, and it’s pretty much done for. It would frequently cut out briefly, for maybe 1 second throughout the day multiple times, while in use, but I ignored it. I have always had it connected via HDMI cable, and just outside of my one year of owning it, it stopped working when I would turn on my tv. I would constantly have to switch it off the sound-bar input, to the TVs regular audio, and back onto the sound bar audio in the settings. Eventually that stopped working, so I had to unplug the power cable and re plug it in. Now, even that doesn’t work. I have to do it multiple times IF it will even work. Really disappointed, I thought highly of Samsung products, but both my Samsung tv has issued, and now the sound-bar. I would pass on this, unless you want to spend $200+ for a product that won’t even last two years. Maybe something was just wrong with mine, but a brand this reputable, and for the cost, I expected much better. It does have good sound when it does work.

I am so happy that I got this Samsung S50A Soundbar. I have an outdated soundbar that kept giving me issues and have been on the hunt for a Samsung soundbar for about a year. I wanted it to match my Samsung TV. I am not disappointed on this little soundbar. It gives me a great sound and it is very pretty to look at. It matches everything I own. Sometimes it's hard for me to hear TV shows or movies and that's why I like having a soundbar. I hung it up over my bed and use bluetooth to connect to the TV. It works amazingly like the Samsung TV and soundbar were made for each other. The old soundbar didn't want to connect half the time-so I was a little worried. Not worried anymore the soundbar compliments the TV very well and they work so well together. I could not be happier about this! I did purchase this item at a discount for my honest feedback.

Purchased this for my mother who has trouble hearing regular tv sound, although who doesn't, and can say this speaker is a great addition. the speaker produces great sound and decent bass. If you are looking for sound to blow you away like other similar sound bars, wireless sound bars, then you may want to add a sub. Although this price point, look and feel, you can't go wrong if just trying to upgrade from TV sound. casing has cloth texture which I particularly like but not easily maintained as others without cloth. May have to use a vacuum with brush head as I can see this taking on dust. All in all, great speaker and sound for the money. cant go wrong.

We love this sound bar it looks great on the mantle and it produces the clearest sound.

I was so happy to receive my new Samsung S-50A Soundbar. It was extremely easy to hook up (less than 5min. to set it up). It is amazing to watch sports and movies, and even every day tv shows. The sound is clear and the bass is amazing! Especially in every corner of the room there is the same experience. After a week of use, I really liked this soundbar. I'm So happy with my purchase! (this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest feedback)

Samsung Soundbar HW-S50A 3.0ch is great to have one. 1. Shape & Style: Most of the soundbars in the market comes with the flattened shapes but this sound bar comes with a oval and unqiue shape which looks really futuristic. 2. Installation: Installation is really easy to handle as it comes with the manual with easy to follow instructions. It took me 15 mins to unbox, setup and everything. 3. Sound: Sound quality is amazing as it has different modes in it i.e. Adaptive, which works really great and adapt the sound as per video being played. Bass: Gives you a really great feel while playing sound full of music as it gets you immersed in whatever you are listening. 4. Bluetooth Connectivity: Capability of getting it connected with any of the devices. i have use it with phone as well to play my music and it was quite interesting to experience it. Overall, I ll rate this product as 10/10 and it had all the capabilities which i was looking for to enjoy my daily tv programs, videos and music
