Good but not the greatest

Smart to have, harder to figure out

It’s small and convenient. Just plug into your phone and transfer. The user manual didnt help figuring how to transfer.

Good for text docs but pics & videos it stumbles

It stopped working multiple times. I tried reformatting it as well but it ended up being a disappointment. The ease of use is great but it needs some work.

Instructions are not sufficient

Once connected to my phone to transfer a particular set of photos, it downloaded everything without asking what I wanted. To make it worse I couldn’t find any instructions how to delete and start over. Plan to return unless geek squad can help..

Good usb but should be better

When I search photos in my IPad through the SanDisk app, the pictures don’t show clear images. After I copy the photos into this usb, they don’t arrange in the order to the dates set up. Sometimes it has a message pop up saying the usb drive is not connected. So far I think the PNY usb app is better than this one.

Good but not great file transfer device

It does not transfer or save music. Also, the connection to the app that must be installed is very spotty. Several times i had to re-install the app in order to get it to work. That being said, it is better than many of the other transfer devices i have tried.

iPhone Backup

Expensive. Works. Could be better. Uses data?

It was easy to use. The first time though it said I had 1800+ photos, and for whatever unknown to me reason, it could not transfer them, so it said to try later. Next time, which was shortly after the first time, I had 1500+ photos. I do no know if I lost 300 pictures or what. It transferred those except for a few that it said I had to try again. Every time I try one or 2 more transfer. I never got to complete, but within a dozen. It does not have to a problem with the device. Also, coincidentally I usually use 1-2 GB data on my phone. This month for the very first time I used nearly 9. The only thing I did differently was use this device. I do not know if using it was the cause or there was a glitch with Verizon.

Small and handy, but reliability concerns.

Fairly reliable

I had some issues with it locking up, going totally black, nothing showing up on the screen, telling me the 128 BG was all used up. Then if I let it rest for an hour it would say, there’s only a small amount if space used up. So I made two appointments with Geek Squad for help. And got things transferred from phone to this driver

Good, but not what I wanted.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The SanDisk iXpand flash drive Go 128GB USB 3.0 is a good product, but was not what I wanted. I was looking for the flash drive that all you do is plug it into your device and automatically it locates all the pictures on that device, pulls them all off and stores them. This particular flash drive is no different that most except that it has the iPhone plug and the USB plug. You have to manually locate the files you want transferred, transfer them, then go back into your device and delete them.

Good but not great

But it has a tendency to duplicate everything you put on it. So you’re always deleting extras. Won’t handle a large number of transfers so you have to do that in smaller groups. It works faster if you don’t give it too much to do at a time. Still it’s a good way to clear your phone without all the headache of using a third party medium.

My Thoughts

Just okay

I called geek squad to find out the reason, i was told just delete the doubles. Wow.

Won't turn a 64GB iPad into a 128GB iPad

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought this would be similar to an external hard drive for a computer, where it could be formatted to supplement my ipad's memory and allow me to keep it plugged in (I do a lot of digital art, and the ipad I have only has enough working memory to allow for about 10 layers on a high-res piece). It works as a thumb drive to transfer files, but doesn't do what I bought it for. Next time I will do more research before purchasing.
