Works fine with my MacBook Pro 14” 2021. Other desktops also do not detect it all even in the bios for booting an OS for example. I got a cheapy verbatim dual usb c drive and that one works fine on the aforementioned devices. Write speeds are fast however on this one which is a plus

Please note that for the overvoltage error on some desktops, it may be related to USB power regulation differences - some systems are more sensitive. I like that it has both a USB Type-A and Type-C connector. That is really convenient for computers with a combination of both types of connections. You swivel from one type to the other depending on which connection it is being connected to. What I did not like about this is that there is no cover for whichever connector is exposed. This creates the possibility of contamination from lint, dirt, or whatever may be in your pocket or purse.

After following all the instructions and installing the app it still didn't transfer any pictures or videos. But finally after going to Geek squad they helped but still no files moved. However after I got home I tried again and pictures moved but I still couldn't get videos to transfer.

Confusing

Had to get a app for it then it wouldn’t connect to my network. Finally got my grandson over and he figured it out. I’m not totally bad at tech stuff but I sure was to this. The other ones i have you just plugged it in and it backed up. But it was the only one I could find to hook up to my new iPad Pro.

Gets the job done but not sure about durability

Also recommend finding/attaching to a keychain so wouldn't lose track. Speeds are great and both sides work well.

No instructions for use are provided. After unsuccessfully attempting to use the device, I returned to the store, only to discover that I needed to download the Sandisk Memory App. Tiny writing (white on blue background) in the upper left corner of the package. Obvious attempt to hide vital information.

Not enough instructions and not easy enough to understand. Had to go to Geek Squad 2x and will probably go the next time I use it. The instructions should be written by someone like me that has just learned how to use it. Being written by an computer geek doesn't help me.
