Installed to replace HD. No problems installing SSD. Loaded OS from scratch. Booted up and upgraded ok. Have loaded programs and run video with no problems so far

I have this in my system for Photoshop and Lightroom. This SSD is very fast. While it's not as fast as some of the more expensive SSD's, it does an amazing job for the price. If you want to step up from a 5400rpm HDD or a 7200rpm HDD, this SSD is a great choice for those on a budget.

I was really excited about getting this SSD. However, I had trouble with the first two SSDs I bought (both were defective). The third is now in my laptop and I could not be more pleased with it. Recently had the urge to upgrade my pc again and felt that it was time to make the jump to an SSD. I purchased this specific on due to the high capacity and great price/gb. Installation was extremely easy (pretty much plug and play) and after cloning my old hdd I have seen a huge boost to b performance. Boot times have decreased from ~1.5 minutes to less than 30 seconds for full boot. Games like xcom which took a few minutes to load not take less than 30 seconds to get to main screen. Clearly exceeded my expectations and I would definitely buy more for my other computers in the house.

I had no idea how much an SSD could make. I had been extremely disappointed in the performance of my Laptop. With an i7 chip and 8 gigs of memory I expected better, My boot time was insufferable. Then, the standard drive died and I went with this Sandisk Ulta II drive. I literally went from a 5 minute boot to barely 15 seconds. Seriously. The drive just screams. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I purchased 2 of these drives at different points when they were on sale for about $250. These are not the fastest drives, like the Samsung 850 Pro, nor is the warranty as long (3 years vs. 10 for Samsung), but I have found these drives are very reliable. Usually with SSDs, if they aren't DOA or die soon after initial use, they tend to last because there are no moving parts. I use these to back up 4K videos of my kids' events, so I am not constantly writing to them as may be the case for many people, so I cannot comment on reliability from normal use, but they are tremendous value for backups.

I bought two of these units on deal of the day using either a price match or a new lowered price during deal of the day. That alone made it worthwhile because both items even after taxes was under $217 and one was even under $200 with a price match. Overall it's not the fastest as I said on the market but it's more than adequate to speed up an older laptop or even a newer laptop. Windows loading becomes I don't know something fantastic from under 30 seconds or less. It is good to have the extra storage capacity to store files that I needed to be accessed very quickly not just operating system.

So far as SSD drive goes, this hasn't disappointed. Realistically, the speed between brands isnt noticeably different. Samsungs Pro line warranty is a little ridiculously long. And their 850 EVO is more expensive than SanDisks. So SanDisk got the nod. The only reason to ding them one star is that it doesn't have Samsung's (proprietary) cloning software. Something that has made migration efforts a piece of cake.

When purchasing a new desktop PC, I was continually looking for one that also contained an internal SSD. I finally decided it was less expensive to simply find one with a similar capacity as the one that it came with and then move the entire disk to the SSD. Great decision. My original hard drive is still available if needed. Once I copied everything to the SSD, I disconnected the power to my hard drive to save it for later possible use and started using the new SSD. Not only is it lightning fast, my PC is so quiet I have to put my ear against the case to verify it is on. This is the second SanDisk Ultra II 960GB internal disk I have purchased, one for an older PC over a year ago and yet another one for my new Dell XPS PC and I could not be more pleased. Never had a problem with either of them. Highly recommended.

The laptop standard hard drive died and was replaced with this SSD 960GB drive. Much more space and much faster access for most applications. Only sw not faster are programs within a VM, but starting the VM off the SSD drive is much faster. Had this about a month so far. If you use your computer a lot and you can afford it, this is worth the extra money.

I am truly pleased with this Sandisk hard drive. I had a Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5 SSD in my laptop before this and I can truly tell no difference in real-world speeds. I use it for my steam and video libraries and it has plenty of space to offer and loads the games in no time at all. For video editors or photographers I am sure there is some measurable difference by going with the Samsung 850 EVO, but if you are a general user looking for a great hard drive upgrade for your laptop or desktop, look no further, especially considering it is 100 dollars less than the Samsung 850 EVO.

This SSD is probably the fastest I’ve used. I put it in Asus running Windows 10 Pro. The boot is around 6 seconds to where I can run programs. It’s excellent for anyone needing or wanting to boost an old system or just speed up a new one.

Recently upgraded my laptop with this SSD hard drive and the performance is outstanding and the price didn't break the bank. The machine boots up almost instantly. Only been in use about a month now but seems to be working great so far.

I purchased these SSDs for my desktop computers. I had an older i5 with 8 Gigs of RAM, where the hard drive was failing. This drive gave new life to the computer. I did a clean install of windows 7 and the computer boots quickly, primarily due to the drive. The price of SSDs is falling - I don't know if I would buy another mechanical device other than for backup or media.

Great price because it is almost 1 T for a lot cheaper than a 1Terabite drive. Fit my MacBook Pro and worked perfectly. Very Fast.

I bought this for my Asus laptop. The drive that came with it is alright, but rather slow, and drains power as it is on all the time spinning. The battery lasts longer now, and the speed is incredible. Plus it should outlast the old drive because there are no moving parts. Simple to install. Just go to You Tube and list your computer and watch a video about the installation of this drive. You will love it. Best Buy has the best price on this drive that you will find anywhere.

Installing this Sandisk SSD greatly improved the laptop’s performance. Added speed not only lowered boot time but app performance as well. Saved buying a new computer.

I replaced my HDD with this, and in addition to adding storage, it noticeably sped up my computer. Where it used to take around 60 seconds to boot, the whole process now takes no more than 12 seconds. The 960GB fit my size needs and provides the best value of the whole line. I liked it so much that I went back and bought a second one for my desktop. Although a conventional Hard Drive will be cheaper, I recommend getting one of these for its night and day effect on your computer.
