Havent really used it yet, but i like that i can use it wired or wirelessly. Pretty fast on/off and connection. Feels premium. Im a PC gamer and i bought this to have on deck incase i buy/use any games that require a controller, it's good to have one on hand. I also bought because i heard it does good with "stick drift." Also bought it "on sale" because im frugal and wouldn't buy a gaming controller for that price otherwise, so i got the PRO version for the price of the regular one.
I would recommend this to a friend

This controller is the best controller on the market right now for several reasons. The extra paddles and side buttons added make for game changing movement in fps games. Never have to take your thumbs off the sticks mid battle again and buy this controller. Latency test gave better results than any other controller I have tested. 2-4 ms latency for this controller wired vs wireless. Buy this controller if your on pc. Its the best!

Extremely happy with purchase. Got this as a birthday gift for my gaming son and he says it is awesome and trust me he has had quite a few controllers.

I’m happy with the controller. Typically I’m a MnK only player however I do need a controller from time to time while I’m slinging webs in spider man. The hardware is second to none. Friends of mine have also purchased it for competitive call of duty. They say the controller itself is great but have reported issues with the trigger buttons not working suddenly in game. Like I said I’m mouse and key in shooters so I can only go on what they say. I’m sure it will get an update to fix that issue.

I’m gonna start with, It’s basically perfect, I love this thing and would recommend it for anyone that uses a controller on PC. Just stop reading and go buy one. Highly recommended.
Seriously, when I unpacked this, I IMMEDIATELY knew I was gonna love this controller. As a PC gamer I primarily use controllers for my gaming experience, so I’m pleased to see Corsair embracing us gamers as well. I usually do shooters, RPGs, adventure, racing, fighting, and sports games on PC and all of them I use controllers with. The occasional RTS, SIM game I just use KB&M. But back to this controller… I am such a fan of this controller. I’d even go as far as to say I’m a fanboy! It’s changed my life compared to my standard console controller!
This controller is a high-end controller that offers a number of features that I think will make it ideal for any PC gamer (especially me) that uses a controller! It has a comfortable design with textured grips, and it features four paddles on the back that can be customized to map any button or function. Technically all the buttons are mappable but I don’t know who’d do that or why. There’s also five G buttons on the front and two on the side of the controller, known as the “SAX” buttons that can be mapped as well. The controller also has a built-in headphone jack and a detachable cable, so you can use it wired or wirelessly.
In terms of performance, so good, easily recommended for anyone that thinks they’re a pro, but not even close (aka me) and actual pros out there would love it too. It has a fast response time and accurate analog sticks, and the buttons are responsive and tactile. The controller also has a built-in vibration motor that provides haptic feedback during gameplay… if you use that kind of thing. I originally started everything out wired. I had a preconceived notion that wireless would not perform very well. Honestly, when I put it in wireless mode, I couldn’t even tell a difference. Wireless was just as good as wired in my experience. So now I just play wirelessly and the range is surprisingly good. I eventually plan on building a SFF PC for my TV and this range will come in handy when that system is built.
The iCUE software was a lot more in depth than I realized it’d be and it did a decent job explaining some of the stuff for me, but I understood enough to tinker. It offered some presets; shooter, racing, sports, etc. that kind of clued me in on what to expect from a default curve to an aggressive curve on the triggers and thumbsticks. I can kind of tell what it’s gonna do and the software allows you to play with the thumbsticks and triggers in the software to see how you’d like it, but ultimately I had to play the game and find out… in comes PROFILES!!! I never thought I’d love profiles as much as I do until I got this controller. I basically set up a bunch of different configurations to test each style out and assigned it to a profile. Swapped profiles to quickly determine what I liked best. I ended up programming my profiles to the G buttons. You can have a single G button cycle, or program a single profile to a button like I did. Once I got there, I was able to modify it to my exact liking. I seriously won’t be able to go back to a standard console controller now.
It’s not all good though, the SAX, S1 and S2 buttons, which are located right next to the DPAD and the B button on the side of the controller were VERY hard for me to get used to. In Call of Duty, I kept throwing my lethal and non-lethal grenades on accident when I would clench my grip. I fixed this by disabling them for Call of Duty, but had a profile that setup a key stroke for games like ESO and Lost Ark.
TL:DR
Pros:
*Comfortable design with textured grips
*Four paddles on the back that can be customized to map any button or function
*Two SAX buttons that can be customized as well
*Great wirelessly and wired
*Fast response time and accurate analog sticks
*Responsive and tactile buttons
*Good built-in vibration motor
*Great Battery Life
*The controller can be customized, different thumbsticks, etc.
Cons:
*Potential con, soft plastics seems like it’s not that durable, premium material, but seems like it won’t stand the test of time.
*Software can be overwhelming for beginners
*S1 and S2 are hard to get used to. A lot of accidental presses when enabled (for me)
*Wish there was a power button to quickly turn it off, right now you have to press and hold for like 7 seconds.
*Not hall effect joysticks. Stick drift may be in my future

When the controller works as intended it’s the best i’ve ever used. but very often you’ll find buttons unresponsive. it is only when i plug the controller in while playing that it happens. i’ve found it best to charge the controller beforehand for the best experience.
