    Bought this drive to use with new MacBook Pro. I put my iMovie library on this drive and it works great. Fast enough to do 1080p video editing. (Haven't tried with 4K yet.). Comes with cable and runs of bus power, so no a/c outlet needed!

    Nowadays, the ultrathin laptop has miniature storage size and this sleek, great looking, better speed hard drive is sitting between the expensive ultra-fast SSD and normal 5400 RPM HDD. A great companion without taking much space in the bag.

    A faster external hdd drive, but overall it lasted just a little over a year. Ended up returning it under the protection plan and upgrading to a SSD.
