With a nice speed boost over traditional Hard Drives, large amount of storage and a great price, this drive is an excellent alternative to high capacity SSDs until they come down in price. A great drive for the Hackintosh community.

Bought this 2TB hard drive to replace/supplement my very full 1TB drive in my Dell. The thought of a Hybrid Drive offering faster speed was exciting. So now my 10 year old Dell now has a total of 3TB of internal storage. Installation was easy, and the Seagate app made copying my original drive to the new one easy. I did have to buy a new cable to connect it to my Motherboard, and screws for mounting, but very satisfied with the drive.

I used this hybrid 2TB hard drive to replace an old original 500GB WD hard drive in my Dell Studio XPC that was now having intermittent startup problems (sometimes the HD needed the CD recovery disc to start, so I knew it was going to fail soon). I'm not a gamer,but, I liked the idea of the learning feature of the SSD part of this drive. I've had this Seagate HD installed for 3 weeks now without any problems. It also seems to be starting up quicker now. I ran a performance test right after I installed it and the numbers were good and even better than my secondary Seagate 1TB drive (Barracuda). I re-ran the performance test today and the numbers even got a bit better. I guess the learning feature is beginning to work. I also used the Seagate DiscWizard app to clone my original hard drive to my new Seagate 2TB HD - it took several hours. Go to the Seagate website for the free app. This app has enough features to do the basic job of duplicating everything on your old drive to your new drive. For the price, performance and capacity, I think this Seagate HD is a good deal.

Easy to install, quiet and quick. Been about 3 weeks now and am always amazed at how fast reboots, logging in and switching users is now that I have made this upgrade.

I was looking to up my PS4 storage capacity, looked up what was considered the best drive, bought this. Worked spectacularly, would recommend.

This hybrid drive does exactly what I need it to do, boot up games faster and more reliably than a standard 7200rpm drive.

Use Samsung SSD for OS, and this hybrid Sata/SSD drive for data. response is great and very reliable thus far.

Received fast, hard drive was easy to install. Computer responsiveness is noticeably faster.

My first experience with SSHD and it's been awesome. You'll notice the faster speeds when you rerun your files the 2nd or 3rd time around. Definitely notice the solid state memory work its magic there. A great option for both PC and console gaming.

Great drives. I use a couple in a music studio for large sample libraries and they feel very responsive almost SSD speed on often used stuff.

This thing has all the storage you need for games, and even some more for your movie and music files! 2TB is a great size SSHD to put into your rig.

I needed to upgrade from 1TB, this was was on sale and it works way better than my old WD.

I bought this drive on the advice of my computer repair guy. He was SO right. It's fast, it's hybrid, and ti's got 2TB of storage. I love how fast this 7-yr-old desktop computer is with the new drive. I'm going to connect the old drive as a slave for 2 more terabytes of storage. Yes, I highly recommend this drive.
