The external drive is good for smaller games and bigger games depending on how frequent they get updated. Sometimes I have to put my games into my external storage just to download new games. But overall it does the job.

Has more than enough space than what is need so is perfect for me

It works as intended. I now have a place to store my Xbox One library and I can use the Console storage for the new and improved Xbox Series X|S games.

Seagate is a good quality company. Plenty of storage space and worked!

I bought this external hard drive for my son's Xbox only to find out he couldn't play the games he had from this external hard drive. He had to transfer them to & from this and his Xbox, which makes it a real pain when the games he wants to play are large in size. Eventually he was tired of having to wait an extended period of time to transfer games BACK to his Xbox to play & just quit using it. Making it more-or-less a waste of money. I haven't tried using it for anything else and I believe it's a good product, it was just my fault for misunderstanding the functionality of it with an Xbox. If you want to be able to play games directly from an external hard drive, my understanding is you have to buy the external SD card specifically for Xbox. Which is 3x the price of this. Whew. Live & learn. That's what happens with 4 boys.

I like Seagate drives. All the ones I've gotten have been reliable but this drive, like some of their other drives has one issue. It works fine when connected to a USB port on the computer but it doesn't work when connected through a USB hub, even a powered USB 3.0 hub. It won't even work through a USB hub on another Seagate drive. Due to this, I can't give it the full 5 stars.

It good storage for the price. Had some trouble to make it work with Mac

It's great, I needed more storage for my new PC and the external hard drive with 2 terabytes is serving me well. I recommend this if you need more storage for things like games or other files like music, photos, and videos. If it's on sale, and you need more storage then go for the buy. I just hope it last a long time.

Well worth every penny Backed up my iMac very fast

In order to actually use the drive, i had to install a software and reformat it to my computer (it has an M1 chip) so that was a little inconvenient. But other than that, it’s a standard storage drive and has A LOT of space (I was able to get a 2 year old computer and all 30GB of my files onto the drive will a little wait).

I've had a 1TB Seagate on my desk since 06' and have been impressed by the ease of usage and how long it's been working. I purchased this new 2TB unit as a loyal customer to load pictures to from our PC's as the 1TB is almost full. Initially I found the new unit easy to setup and run a scan and transfer of pics to it. However, the "Toolkit" app it loaded onto my desktop has wrecked havoc on PC and I had to halt auto load in startup to keep it from slowing my hard drive down. This new 2TB drive is small and easily the most portable device I've used to date. Very cool tool to have in your bag if you're a road warrior.

I was looking for an external drive to store photos and videos that I take on my phone. Additionally, was looking for this drive because I create a lot of documents and presentations and didn't want to bog down my computer. This external drive is a great way to back up files and images in case something would happen to my computer, laptop, or cell phone. So far has been great. Have owned it for over a year. Would highly recommend this product to others. Plus you have the option of getting Rescue Data Recovery Services. That's a plus.

Plenty of storage for your movies, music, and pictures all in a little, handy USB plug-and-play HDD. I can easily transfer my data onto this drive and take my media from one computer to the next. Great external backup for all your media storage needs.

I liked the product overall. I also appreciate the option to chat with best buy representative to clarify my doubt whether this product supported usb 2.0 and prompt help was provided. So far it has been performing as intended.

A good product, with lots of storage, but setup was a little difficult for a technically challenged person like me. Setup tutorial/instructions could be improved.

Great product. Easy to use. I should have checked before I purchased that it doesn’t work with my old computer that has an old version of windows!
