I’ve had this vacuum about 2 years. It -kind of- cleans up dust/debris, but pushes aside quite a bit. It’s less than 2 years and the suction motor failed. I’m not spending an hour with tech support to shell out $50 when I can just buy a better one. My rant aside, I usually vacuum with a full sized vacuum every few days and this runs maybe twice every 1-2 weeks. My honest experience - the programming on this model is the best thing going for it. It’s responsive to commands and takes its time cleaning. The brushes and roller push more dirt away pretty often. I don’t use this much and didn’t expect much, but with minimal use for less than 2 years and the motor fails, while providing sub par cleaning.. its bottom shelf at best. It’s a super lazy bat-a-leaf-out-of-the-way device. Again, just my experience. Anyway I’m shopping for another brand. Shark makes a great standing vacuum but really, spend the extra couple bucks on something else. It did get old watching it go straight at some lint on the floor only for it to be shoved away over and over. Again - just my experience. The first few weeks were fun but but yeah don’t buy this. I have hardwood floors, I vacuum as often as possible and mop soon after, pass on this amigos.

Neither at my house or my parents' house. I'm not sure why and couldn't get help to fix the issue.

Also, I requested return immediately there as received. The employees there at Best buy outlet asked me to come back in 3 hours. It takes few hours for the data come to system @@. I brought it to best buy next door they were able to make it work immediately

Want to like BUT….

I have bad neck and back issues and was running my full size vacuum everyday. I have 3 dogs, one being a German Shepherd, so the dog hair is a challenge. Anyways… I really want to like this vacuum but I constantly have to stop the vacuum and remove dog hair from the comb that is on the dirt catcher, sometimes 3 or more times every time I vacuum wnd I vacuum everyday. Mind you, the dirt catcher isn’t even full, the dog hair never even makes it in there. Between the dog hair and this vacuum not getting into the corners it’s making it very hard to like. I have to use my broom and sweep in the corners to put the dirt into play. Once all the dog hair is gone it does a pretty decent job of picking up after I sweep the areas it doesn’t get.

Was still to see how it cleans. 1. The fact that this doesn't have navigation built in and randomly bounces off obstacles is not efficient. 2. I couldn't get the robot to return to the dock by itself - Probably because the wifi connectivity wasn't set right. After purchasing this I realized, it doesn't make sense buying a basic robot vacuum. Certain features like Lidar navigation are must haves in a robot vacuum.

And that is where my biggest problem is setting up the app. The sharkclean app doesn't connect to anything and I'm very very disappointed espically with the price of this vacuum. At this point I'm ready to return the item and go back to using a broom and I had the vaccum less than 24 hours . I purposely bought this item so I can set times and scheduled cleanings but with a app that looks so simple doesn't work at all. Also, onto another point I'm very disappointed on how the item was shipped. They literally slapped on a label on the orginal box and shipped it without any packaging or without any box. I'm very disappointed and my item could have stolen, espically when it's just laying outside and the delivery man didnt even knock so it was left outside for hours..

This is a good robot, but it dies quickly

It was used for minimal duties, just 3 small rooms mostly to catch cat hair and while it worked it did wonderfully. What died on mine were the charger pads, not sure if something got loose during one of its runs but I can't get it to start again after 2 weeks of browsing forums/other things to get it going again. Like I said, great vacuum while its working... just really didn't expect it to last only a year, to put it in perspective it did 5 1 hour runs a week, giving it a total life of around 250 hours... so not worth it in the long run.

Very good vacuum, when it works

I didn't mind that too much but I do have a hard time getting it to properly sit on the dock and recharge. It also keeps dropping from the Shark app so you are not able to use the app features of setting times for it to run. It's very, very glitchy. I wouldn't recommend it. When it does work, it does a great job of cleaning your floors. It gets all the dust that you didn't know was there.

They tried to talk me into buying a more expensive one. Glad I didn't. Gets up some stuff but gets stuck a lot. Rather just keep doing it myself.

A squealing Shark

All hardwood in my house with the exception of a couple of area rugs. The Shark runs on a programmed schedule. The last couple of months when I’ve let it run, it’s squealed like cats in an alley fight. It’s absolutely horrible. The maintenance on the Shark robot has been kept up with since I purchased it. I ordered 3 and gave the other 2 as gifts. I hope the other 2 aren’t doing the same thing!

Good while it lasted

Got a second error on it bother day saying the number was jammed but it was literally on the charging port not even moving. Luckily I registered it and the shark rep was extremely helpful

Not worth it

It keeps bumping into objects instead of avoiding them like my Deebot. The brushes are also slow to move so it doesn’t seem to pick up as much dirt as it should. Overall it’s been disappointing. The other brand performs much better.

Shark robot

I took off everything i could including the bumper and i did not find anything stuck. The wordt part of it all is that now it does this horrible squeaking sound and we dont know how to fix it.

Motor suction stopped working

I regularly clean everything out, not sure what went wrong.. I YouTubed the error code and did everything I could do. I am curious to see if shark will back me up and replace the broken motor.
