This is a five-star product! I'm so pleased with this purchase. It heats evenly & fast. Has the latest features. Much better than my prior microwave, which surprisingly lasted over 30 years! Glad that one finally gave out, because didn't know what I was missing. This microwave does not take up a lot of counter space, but is very accommodating on the inside. I just love the gray interior. I've never been into microwave popcorn, but I tried it in this microwave and I'm happy to report that it popped the bag perfectly. I'm now hooked on microwave popcorn. This is a great microwave and I highly recommend it.

Like the microwave. Customer service is fantastic. I wish you could punch in seconds & not just minutes. Maybe you can & I just haven't figured it out yet. Regardless, plenty of settings. Bought this because my grandma's Y2K Sharp Carousel broke down. She had a good run, hopefully the quality is just as good as it was then. So far, so good. Sharp customer service is a definite A+

The Sharp Microwave works perfectly and is quiet. Very easy to use and has ample room on turntable for larger sized dinner plates. I purchased about a month ago and have used daily. Still working well.

I am a repeat buyer. Very nice features: the only change is the 30 Sec timer is now on the START key. The rotating Carousel is much more quite. My only complaint is that I liked the black lettering better then vise-versa.

I have owned this Sharp SMC1161HW microwave for several weeks. Pros: Quiet, in my opinion. Key-press and end-of-cycle beeping is easily enabled and disabled. At 1000 watts it seems to handle everyday needs well. It will accommodate a dinner-sized plate. Timer feature is handy. Good value for the money. Cons: The dark grey interior, which I knew it had before I purchased it. Some people might actually prefer that, maybe. The interior light, which does come on during operation, isn't bright enough to overcome the dark interior and could have been placed in a better location and done more good. The display led is bright enough to double as your kitchen nightlight - I wish it had been dimmable. This is my third Sharp Carousel going back many years and the one this unit replaced lasted over 20 years.

Just picked up the Sharp 1.1 Carousel Microwave from BestBuy. Looks great, very quiet, easy to use. It has a grey interior. I've used it daily since we bought it and have to note that it cooks more like a 750 watt unit instead of 1000 watts. I have had both and need to keep food in the mic longer than I used to in order to cook or reheat. Will keep the microwave but think this should be mentioned.

My old Sharp SMC1131CW failed after many years of excellent service so I was pleased to see that Sharp had built on that model with the SMC1161HW. I purchased mine about a week ago from Best Buy and have found it to be even better than the previous model. It runs much quieter and offers a few more cooking and heating options than my older model. It makes perfect popcorn with the preset button and handles all of our other cooking and heating needs very competently. It is very easy to use and is nicely built. I used Best Buy free shipping and the Sharp microwave was delivered safely and on time. Highly recommended!

Nice and compact, yet powerful enough for quick heating and re-heating, easy to use without needing to read the instructions. Fits in smallish area on counter, when spaceis a premium.

I bought this for my first apartment and it’s been working great . Food is warmed up fine and the size is good for a counter top . Easy to use of course .

We like counter top microwave it is small enough to do the job and it fits very well on our microwave cart.we had a microwave above the stove and my wife had a hard time operate it now she has it were she can open and close the door with ease.

I needed a new microwave in a hurry and Best Buy did a great job of meeting a lower price and delivering it quickly. This 1,000 watt Sharp Carousel microwave is roomy inside but takes up minimal space on the counter. It runs quietly and performs well.

Sharp makes a pretty decent microwave. This one replaced an older one that finally gave up the ghost after being purchased in 1984. It gets food hot, does it well, if you want a good microwave for a decent price look no further. The plastic trim is ok but aside from that no complaints! It lacks some of the options that most higher end microwaves have, but if you don't care if your microwave can air fry or soften ice cream without having to play with the defrost setting then it's a bargain!

I bought this microwave not knowing how it would perform. I was amazed on how good it works. Plus it has a nice look. I'm impressed.

I hesitated at first to buy this microwave because of the dark interior. However, it isn't bad due to the interior light, and splatters don't show as easily (which is also why I hesitated to buy it...I may not clean it as often!) Having to re-learn a new control panel every few years is a pain, but this one has been simple. My old microwave must have lost some power because this one cooks very quickly. I am very happy with this purchase.

Works as it should. Perfect size for counter. Great price for power and size.
