When received from the mail, it was damaged but plugged it in to see if it worked. It did, however, not bright at all so I returned it.

Don't Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this mirror since 10/31 and two days ago it lit up when a friend of mine was using it - it sparked and smoke started coming out of the top. She touched it to make sure it wasn't hot and was shocked by it. I've used the included brick/cord that came with the mirror and nothing else. It was overpriced to start with because the light wasn't very bright, but I dealt with that because it was rechargeable and seemed like it was built well. Won't be buying Sharper Image again.
