Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the sound quality, comfort, battery life, open-ear design, fit, bone conduction, and lightweight features of the OpenRun Pro Premium Bone Conduction Open-Ear Sport Headphones. They appreciate the clear and immersive sound, comfortable and secure fit, long battery life, ability to hear their surroundings, lightweight design, and innovative bone conduction technology. On the other hand, customers are negative about the volume, bass, price, connectivity, and microphone. They feel the volume could be louder, the bass is lacking, the price is high, the connectivity is unstable, and the microphone could be improved for better call quality.

Excellent hardware, disappointing software
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these as have found myself in an open office situation. I need to be able to hear others as well as my phone, but still be able to listen to music, news etc. I am blown away with these. While its not exactly audiophile level, sound is good. They are very comfortable & I can wear them all day with no issues. The hard case is very much worth having as well. These do have an associated app which is where my praise ends. As much as the hardware is a 10, I think a 3 for the software is generous. Unlike my Jabra 7's which can be paired to 6 devices and can connect to 2 simultaneously, these can only connect to 2 and used individually. Connecting is often hit-and-miss and sometimes requires opening the app to connect. If my phone is distant & disconnects I have to restart the headphones to connect. Bottom line is that these are awesome but the software I feel should be much better for this price range. Still worth having though.

Go with Shokz and you’ll thank me later.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my shokz. They’re durable which is perfect for work use. They function exactly how they’re supposed too. My voice and hearing people voice is clear. I listen to my audio books with them. The sound is just right. It’s been a year or maybe more and they’re still ticking unlock the AirPods and AirPods Pro’s I wanted my money on. Battery lasts what the box says they’re supposed too. All day. Easy to connect and use with some minor annoyances.

Shoking Good Sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love the Shokz Open Run Premium Bone Conduction Open-Ear Headphones. The sound is clear and crisp. I have yet to receive a complaint about the sound of my voice on the other end of a phone call. That said, I have learned when not in use I cannot just leave them on my head over my ears and resting on my temporal bone. I have become acutely aware that I am missing sounds from my environment when I do. To be clear this design is leaps and bounds improved over my Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats Earbud Noise-Cancelling Bluetooth Earphones with the tether between the two ear buds where that design directly blocks the ear canal. Until you were the Shokz you will most likely have a hard time understanding the dampened sense of sound - it is very subtle. When I ask other Shokz customers about this sensation they look at me sideways. Some have admitted later they understood what I was talking about. The solution for me is simple. I simply drop them to my neck if I am moving about or place them on my desk when working. The only other issue is with connecting them to my apple phone my mac book and my hp laptop. I was spoiled from the relationship between Apple and Beats. They simply just connected without having to constantly reconnect like the Shokz. Hope you found this helpful.

Very impressed with Shokz headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second attempt at using a Shokz bone conduction headphone - I had given my earlier one to my father. It enables you to hear the environment around you, which was key for, while enjoying your regular activities - walking, jogging etc. Of course when you can hear the environment sometimes outside sounds may overwhelm the sound quality in our ear but that is a limitation of the human hearing system. Initially there seemed to be connectivity issues but after fully recharging it that issue has not recurred.

These are great headphones!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are great! I love they don't sit inside my ear. The only thing I don't like is they are too big for my head, so if I wear a hat, it competes with the strap. They work great in meetings and walking around the subdivision. The sound is excellent and the microphone works very well. Connecting them to my devices can be a bit troublesome, but I'm getting better at it!

Slow connection activity
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The connection seems to be slow. I only hear part of a notification. And the mic doesn't pic up very well when speaking audible texts. Can't answer a call by pressing the button. They don't auto shut off once I take them off and or disconnect blue tooth.

Another cord.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First open ear headphones. Sounds is good, fits well. Bulky case, and custome charging cord is short and only usable for the headset. Cannot easily disconnect and connect to a new device. Would probably try sometime else.

Three Big, Frustrating Flaws
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Impressions after 8 months of use: - Out-of-the-box battery life was great with a charge needed every 1.5 weeks of so. Battery life rapidly dropped off a cliff after a 2-3 months and it can't seem to make it halfway through the week without the low battery notification going off. The upside is that it charges super fast (maybe that's what caused the battery degradation). - Major flaw is that these bone conduction headphones are assisted with speaker grills. Upon contact with water (say a drop of SWEAT WHEN RUNNING - what these headphone were DESIGNED FOR) the speaker grills become blocked and the audio quality goes to *poop* with extremely muffled audio accompanied by a terrible buzzing noise. - Bluetooth connectivity is absolutely atrocious and the last straw as to why I am leaving a negative review. This device does not connect reliably at all to any of my devices automatically. I have to set it to pairing mode constantly in order to connect it at all sometimes. - I have never regretted buying a product as much as in this case. Absolutely not worth $100. I'm going back to using Jabra.

Drop in quality.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old pair of Shokz headphones died and I upgraded to this pair. Unfortunately, the speakers are poor, the Bluetooth is extremely laggy with my iPhone and the microphone is muffled. Customer service with Shokz has been poor at best. I cannot recommend these any longer. I have tried everything to increase the volume with no luck. My biggest issue is talking and dictating when it misses the beginning of almost every sentence. It duplicates words if I dictate. I feel like it would be better to just type which is not the point of the hands-free headset. If you want to listen to music on these, you’ll be fine. However, these are not for working.

OK / inferior sound quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an older pro version with the boom I use daily for work; the sound quality is much superior to this one. The sound quality is unsuitable for this price tag; if multiple devices are connected, you will have to connect and disconnect manually every time.

Not worth the money, on my 3rd set
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microphone doesn’t work well. Can’t use at any speed because the microphone is on the front and picks up all the wind noise. Sound quality is tolerable. Connectivity is unstable. Will disconnect and reconnect at random. Great idea however it need improvement.
