Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the sound quality, comfort, battery life, open-ear design, fit, bone conduction, and lightweight features of the OpenRun Pro Premium Bone Conduction Open-Ear Sport Headphones. They appreciate the clear and immersive sound, comfortable and secure fit, long battery life, ability to hear their surroundings, lightweight design, and innovative bone conduction technology. On the other hand, customers are negative about the volume, bass, price, connectivity, and microphone. They feel the volume could be louder, the bass is lacking, the price is high, the connectivity is unstable, and the microphone could be improved for better call quality.

Great sports headset w/ great audio quality!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great audio quality, exceeded expectations! Keeps ears healthy, open, & dry. Mic is great BUT susceptible to wind noise, fyi. Perfect for walking, running, and cycling! +2 stars: Mostly sweatproof! Not totally waterproof though.. +2 stars: Audio quality greatly exceeds expectation, especially compared to older Openrun and to other sports-style headphones & earbuds! +1 star: Battery life is fantastic!!! -1 star: fit is too tight on my very large head, clamps tightly -1 star: headband broke after 15 months of heavy use -1 star: microphones should be improved to eliminate wind noise! +2 stars: excellent customer service! Called Shokz & they are sending me a replacement pair after 15 months of use broke the headband. Overall great BUT especially if you have a larger head, look at the **brand new Openrun Pro2** that just came out - supposed to be better in all respects *AND* have reduced clamping force on your head!

Amazing for hands free work for blue collar guy.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love these, the microphone began failing 2 years into wearing them everyday. They took the warranty and sent me out another pair within a week. I wear them 10 hours+ a day. Hard to live without them.

Excellent for athletes, otherwise not as much
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For athletes these are one of the best options available. There is a lot to like here. There is literally no risk of losing your buds. They're comfortable and fit well. You can hear and enjoy the music. Battery life is good. When they're connected they're connected. And it does allow you to hear oncoming traffic and your surroundings. If you work out, this is for you. I knock them down a star because they're not loud enough (although that may be by design) even in relatively quiet environs. The sound quality also is not the best, it could be better. They use a proprietary charger which, while not hard to find online, is proprietary nonetheless. Also I had problems with the microphone in calls more than a few times. And mowing the lawn they couldn't out power the mower. Even if you're an athlete, these are factors to consider. If you're an athlete or work out a lot this is one of the very best options out there. If not, look elsewhere.

Great value
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comfortable to wear with a very good distance on the bluetooth. Not perfect sound but definitely good for streaming on the go. Microphone could use improvement for picking up your voice. Battery life is decent, and charges reasonably quick. Charging cord is priority and short but easy to get extras at longer lengths.

Slow connection activity
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The connection seems to be slow. I only hear part of a notification. And the mic doesn't pic up very well when speaking audible texts. Can't answer a call by pressing the button. They don't auto shut off once I take them off and or disconnect blue tooth.

Great workout headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great. Not the best microphone (though still decent) on it but the sound quality is about as good as you can get without going to full headphones.

Shokz Review
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the way they fit, the only improvement that could be made is the microphone, everyone says they can’t hear me and or I should muffled.

Drop in quality.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old pair of Shokz headphones died and I upgraded to this pair. Unfortunately, the speakers are poor, the Bluetooth is extremely laggy with my iPhone and the microphone is muffled. Customer service with Shokz has been poor at best. I cannot recommend these any longer. I have tried everything to increase the volume with no luck. My biggest issue is talking and dictating when it misses the beginning of almost every sentence. It duplicates words if I dictate. I feel like it would be better to just type which is not the point of the hands-free headset. If you want to listen to music on these, you’ll be fine. However, these are not for working.

Bad mic, band too long
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my opencomm uc model, but this pro model has problems with the microphone intermittently not working. At all. Also, my head is not small… and the band is way too large. It sticks away from my head at least an inch and a half and it’s annoying. The mini fits better, but I wish they had a simple design that allowed the titanium band to be adjusted instead of one size for all.

Not worth the money, on my 3rd set
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microphone doesn’t work well. Can’t use at any speed because the microphone is on the front and picks up all the wind noise. Sound quality is tolerable. Connectivity is unstable. Will disconnect and reconnect at random. Great idea however it need improvement.

||Posted . Also found it hard to hear anyone or music in loud environments without wearing earplugs.

Posted .Hi there- Shokz here! We're sorry to hear this has been your experience. In this case, we'd suggest a manual reset of the headphones. If the reset doesn't resolve the issues, all Shokz come with a 2-year warranty. To resolve the low volume issue, there is also a phone setting that may help!
-On the iPhone, go to Settings > Sound & Haptics > Headphone Safety, make sure that the Reduce Loud Audio Feature is switched off as this will affect the volume of the headphone. -On an Android, go to the Bluetooth Settings on the phone, find the headphone and make sure that the Absolute Volume feature is switched on for it.
