They also appreciate its reasonable price, considering the quality of images it produces. The lens is well-received for its user-friendly design, with comments highlighting its wide focal range and ease of use. So far so good. It's taking me a while to learn how to get best results i.e. when it's better to use manual and when to use auto focus, but I'm getting some decent enough photos, and don't miss having to carry around both a regular lens and a long one!

An excellent walk around lens for all types of shots. Excellent for general shooting and close-up photography. Great shots of distant landscapes. Makes taking close-up easy.

This is a great do it all lens at an excellent price. The 18-250 range is perfect to allow you to travel with just one lens. It feels like a very solidly built product. It feels a bit heavier than I expected but isn't too heavy. My only issue is the lens drifting fully extended as you carry it around. It locks in the 18mm position which does help and you adjust to keeping your hand on the zoom ring if you're leaning over taking a picture. It's a slight annoyance until you adjust but minor compared to the convenience of traveling with one lens. It works great with my Canon SL1.

I loved this new lens for my Canon Rebel T3i. Image stabilization is a great feature. It allows me to take awesome pictures near or far without changing lenses.

Have the lens for cannon, also have the Nikon version.the lens is good for my needs and not always practical to carry additional lenses. The only downside is that you have to disable the continuous auto focus when using the lens which at first I thought something was wrong with the lens but further investigation found problem was the continuous focus issue. Maybe if I spent the money to get the equivalent cannon lens this feature wouldn't have had to be turned off but it works for me . Always remember what purpose for purchasing item and may not always work for others. Would recommend.

This lens is a perfect walk around lens for traveling. It's got the focal length of your standard kit lens all the way up to a telephoto. It's heavier than I expected but still great for walking around when traveling.

I always wanted a lens at this price range with a macro feature so when it went on a bargain closeout sale I took the bait and didn't regret it. I have a Tamron 18-200 and it doesn't do macro plus this lens is sharper. Since this is an older lens be aware that if you use it on a Canon mirrorless camera such as the RP it will vignette badly especially on video mode. It's okay otherwise on the 1.6x setting. I will be using this on my M50 with adapter of course

Since I feel a bit green when it comes to dslr cameras, I rely heavily on my more experienced friends for advice. They recommended this lens in place of the two separate lenses (an 18-55 and a 55-250) that came with the [Canon] camera. The advantage, of course, is not having to constantly switch them, unless you have a specialty lens you want to use. Now that I have had this one for a couple months or so, I can also recommend it. Happy shooting!

I love this lens it’s and all in one for myself and takes great pictures. Only thing I dislike about this is the lens cover that comes with it does not stay on and the littlest touch it falls off and that’s not good in my eyes.

I'm using the lens with my Canon 70D. Its a good all rounder lens. It is sturdy, good for travel. From the price point, I'm satisfied with macro shots, tele-photo and in-door shots with external flash.

This is the only lens that has been on my camera since I bought it. The range and quality of the lens is so great that I can't imagine not having it. I love that I can go from 18 to 250 on a moment's notice and always be ready to capture the image that I need.
