They're really good headphones. They work well with music as well. I have used them with my phone to listen to a few songs and they sounded great. I got them to use with my ps3 and Xbox 360 but have actually just been using them with my PS4 instead since they connect easily to that. The cables for Xbox 360 and ps3 are annoying to use however. Not a big fan of them. However, I got them for $40 so I can't complain much.

I finally took the step up in my gaming experience and purchased the Skull Candy headset. I'm a recreational gamer so i'm not really a stickler for specifics, but this headset blew me away with its awesome sound quality and comfort. Soft cushion and 3 sound settings gives you an all day gaming experience that you won't want to end. The headset also doubles as a multimedia headset that can be used for more than just gaming. I recommend this product to anybody that enjoys the surround sound gaming experience.

The headset has good sound for gaming. The hideaway mic is great for storage. I don't have to worry about it breaking when carrying it in a bag.

good set of headphones. really gets you in the zone. i use it for gaming on my ps3. Only thing i do not like is that the headphones are not wireless.

He lit up when he opened these, all of his friends have them and he just had to have them. I swear he hasn't taken them off since.

Over all I like this headset. The only problem I had with the headset is that now days everyone uses HDMI cable to play games, it's seems like the headset companies are still on the av side of things. I had to go out and spend an additional $15 on a HDMI optical audio adapter for these to work with my Xbox 360. You are not really spending $80 on these it's more like $95. Which is expensive! The look, quality, sound and communication on these are great. I do recommend these if you are looking for a solid headset and don't want to spend $200. The comfort is great they fit over your ear and allow you to game for a long period of time without any sort of discomfort. 2 thumbs up!

Aesthetically these headsets are great, they also offer comfort for many hours of game play. In addition, the way the mic tucks away adds to the durability. A major downfall is that you cannot hook up two sets to the PS3 so that you and a friend can simultaneously chat with other players during game play. The PS3 only allows one output and one input in the sound settings. Another thing that maybe I cannot figure out or perhaps there is no capability...the game sounds still come through my TV even when both input and output are set to the headset. It seems that the headphones are for chatting purposes only which is a disappointment. If you've been able to figure something out otherwise though, let me know!

I purchased this in August and was very excited to use them. A month later the mic glitches out and I have to unplug them from my ps3 USB plug and put it back in for them to work. Now the game music/sound glitches out on both ear pieces. I take care of it every day I finish with them I pack them safely in a storage mini foot stool by my ps3 that noboby including me uses. Very disappointed going to buy razr microphone soon. SkullCandy stick to music products. Not gaming products. If I could give this 0 stars I would.
