Easy setup. Love the SMART TV functionality. Does a great job with unintrusive software updates. The picture is SONY perfection. Great size for anywhere in your home. Easy to move around. Very light. And very easy and simple assembly.

Great quality pictures and smart TV built in for watching movies from Amazon and Netflix is awesome. Easy set up online/ Wifi. Just one thing, for wall mount, screw holes on the back of the TV located on lower part of TV, so you need to find right kind of wall hanger, ether wise, some part of hanger sticks out from bottom of TV...

Sony are back !!! ... When I looked into buying this TV I looked at every competitor that had a TV of a similar size, specification, and price ... Nothing came close ... Not even Samsung ... The picture is amazing but the sound is just ok ... If like me, you have a surround sound system that will be no concern to you ... The smart tv part is easy to navigate and pulls from the menus very quickly ... It's light and very thin ... It comes with its own wall mount in the box and if you can use a tape measure and a level it's very easy to fix to the wall ... In all, it's awesome, and like I said "SONY ARE BACK !"

This tv is great and would recommend it to everybody! i was looking for a tv for my bedroom so i didn't want anything to big so the size was perfect. The price for this thing was to good to pass up seeing as this is a full 1080p smart tv, i dint think it was possible to get a smart tv for this price. It is a very light weight tv as well so that makes it easy for moving or mounting on the wall. the picture quality is great! and having netflix and all the apps already pre loaded is super convenient. all around an excellent television!

I had an old Sony that I was happy with, but it was wearing out. I purchased this TV and have had it for about a month. It was easy to set up, and the picture is clear, color is good. I am happy to have the SMART TV features so that I can watch Hulu, listen to Pandora, etc. without switching to my Blueray. Very satisfied.

This HDTV was on sale and recommended by the sales reps. It was easy to set up. Love the apps. Great picture. We purchased this with a Sony sound bar and we're pleased with the combo. Love that we can use it wirelessly and so can move the unit anywhere in the room. This is far superior than the 70 inch Sharp Aqous and Harmon Karmon sound bar we bought.

I have always owned Samsung Tv's, and recently when it was time to buy one , I went and looked for a 40 inch Samsung LED. Granted, it wasnt their top of the line model or anything, but I was disappointed when I came home with it. The colors didnt seem that great, and the sound was awful, but the worst was the Smart TV menu. It took for ages to open and even move around. I took it back two days later and started looking once again, and this Sony caught my eye, because the colors just seemed so sharp compared to all the other screens on the wall. Yes, you do pay maybe a hundred dollars more than the Samsung, but the model that Samsung uses to compete with this model costs more than the Sony and even that had no chance next to this. Let me tell you, I have never seen a TV with deeper blacks, If there are blacks in the picture, you cant even differentiate between the blacks and if the TV was off. The sound quality on this is amazing too, it has proper bass, and a lot of options to do what you like with it, whether its picture quality or sound quality. Best of all, the smart menu in this works pretty quickly and I love the option of being able to tell the TV when you usually watch TV in the evenings or whenever, and so it turns on quicker and is already connected and ready to go. This TV has been the best I have owned and to be honest the best that I have seen in other peoples homes as well. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a TV within this budget, trust me, I did a lot of research and there is nothing that compares to this within this range.

This TV went into a small room, so we didn't want a huge TV. The quality is what you would expect from Sony, great picture and sound, easy to operate. It was advertised as a smart TV and it was super simple to set up to stream using our Amazon Prime account. Excellent TV, perfect for a smaller room, like a bedroom, and super simple to set up and use. Highly recommended.

With so many TV's on the market it's tough to select one! I went with this one after reading many reviews. I have had many SONY TV's in the past and have yet to experience any issues with any of them. The picture quality is fantastic! The TV is pretty light in weight and easy to set up and install as it comes with a small stand. It comes with 2 HDMI ports located on the left . The 1080 display delivers really crisp and clear images. What's nice is that you can stream media easily with the Smart TV functionality and built-in Wi-Fi. So you view Netflix movies and connect to the internet with ease. I can't really think of any negative things to say--if I was designing it, I would put the HDMI ports in the front. It did come with a wall mount which i did not utilize.

Visited store and viewed all 40" televisions. I had gone, sort of planning to buy another equally priced brand, but this Sony by far had the best picture. As a very very senior citizen, I was concerned that this smart TV might be too smart for me, but I was wrong. I have had it for several weeks now, and have no regrets about my choice.

The Geek Squad set up my new Smart TV, explained it, and it was easy to operate. The picture is clear, the colors vibrant, and the 40" screen perfect for my needs. A big plus is it has many programs like Amazon, Sirius XM, and NETFLIX built right in. I love it.

Sony does make a higher performing TV in this size which is a 4K monster. It (at Christmas) was only about $60 more than this model, but this was in the budget for this project and it performs very well. I don't see how anyone would be unhappy with this choice if a 1080p TV will do the job you are asking of it. Typical Sony quality. As with almost any modern TV, if you are using it without a sound/surround system, some sort of sound bar with a powered subwoofer is a huge improvement if it is in a large room or viewing area. In a small room the built in speakers are adequate, but a sound bar gives a more realistic, and larger sound. If this is on your wish list, buy and enjoy. . .

Great picture and very easy to set up. Smart TV portion of this set is excellent and provides a great deal of flexibility for entertainment choices. Only con is that I would like to see more apps that provide cable TV to be accessed without STB.

Very pleased with quality of television. Using it for spare bedroom. Great size for use. Bright colors, clean and crisp. I always expect a quality product from Sony and they always deliver. Paired it with Sony soundbar, sounds great!

My tube TV finally died. Yes! Did some research and went to Best Buy. Very knowledgeable associate. Purchased the TV and have been highly satisfied. Smart TV. Easy to navigate. Great picture. Love it!

This Sony 40" Bravia LED has perfect color. I thought the refresh rate would not be high enough for sports but it is just fine. The TV also has plenty of HDMI inputs as well as component and composite inputs for an older video player, a VCR, for example. The picture is so clear I have it in a small bedroom and I am only 10 feet from the TV. This is also a smart TV and the apps are very easy to find and navigate and collect into a favorites group. The network connection was very easy and obvious. No need for a manual with this TV.

I read the reviews and did my research, and I intended to go with a cheaper standard 40 inch TV until I talked to a salesperson about the benefits of being able to stream, etc. So I went back home and did more research and read more reviews and selected the Sony - Bravia - 40 Class (40 Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV - Black. I am very happy that I chose the Sony - Bravia - 40 Class (40 Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV - Black that I bought 2 one for downstairs and one for upstairs.

I had a 32-inch Sony from 2011 and looked at LG, Samsung and Sony for a 14x18-foot living room. The 40-inch W600 punches way above its size - a big bright corner to corner picture without all the UHD bells and whistles. Sound is big and tone is good; frame is narrow so picture jumps off the screen. Internet, Netflix and web content easy to access. Not one complaint and great value.

Previously I had a 24" cheap LCD and decided it was time for an upgrade. Side by side this TV looked much more vibrant and crisp than the Samsung I was looking at in the store. Every game and movie I've played on it has looked amazing and there are plenty of options to adjust the picture. Built in speakers are great for not having a subwoofer. If you want more bass you'll need a separate speaker setup. The smart TV functions work well, just make sure you keep the apps updated. All in all, this is the best TV I've ever owned!

I wanted to upgrade our existing 40" Sony in our living room and this was a perfect fit. The tv is a great size for our smaller living room and it looks great with the modern stand and barely there bevel. Setup was easy and we haven't had any issues with smart TV apps or internet wifi connection. The only con is the price as it's a little more than its comparable counterparts.
