This is my phone after using sansung NOte 8. This phone has a not of issues. phone is not optimized for 3rd party apps. all apps load /refresh eveytime u open. There are a lot of bloatware. ans u cant uninstall them. The smart lock doesnt work propery and is a known issues by the sony mobile team. On the positive side, the build looks good. its a USB-C, Final word : not worth its price. I'm looking for a replacement. But best buy will charge $35 as restocking fee.

I like the Sony GUI but decided to return the phone since it not supports WiFi calling when you use a T-Mobile USA subscription. Discussed this issue with 2 SONY support people and one T-Mobile person during my trouble shooting with no resolution so I decided to return the phone to Best Buy.

I've had this phone for a week and love the size, speed and interface. Unfortunately, the camera is only so-so. The deal breaker is that this phone is extremely fragile. I had a case on it and despite having gorilla glass, the screen cracked on it's very first drop. A- for looks, but C- for durability.

Not happy, two days after purchase I locked the phone, can't remember pin, tried 1k+ different combos, brought it to Best buy, they couldn't open phone and would not return my 2 days old/unused and useless phone.

It's an OK unlocked phone for the price... Too slow for my taste. Meaning slow response in navigating between apps and camera needs improvement.

Too much bloat... otherwise would be good. AVG is also preinstalled and is annoying.

This phone has a hard time charging.it also freezes a lot.

Overall this is a very nice looking phone, a little thick but a good trade off for the battery life. Specs, camera, screen are all great for the price. For the price point not going to find a nicer looking or spec'd phone, however it is unreliable for receiving phone calls. Every few days I would have a call that never rings or shows up in the dialer. Only way I knew had a call is people calling me let me know or just by getting a voicemail. Thought this might be a carrier issue, took to Tmobile, all settings correct yet they got me a new SIM anyway. STill issues. Ok, thought had to be the phone and I really liked so exchanged it for another. This time did not install any other launchers etc to make sure that was not an issue. After a week had 2 more calls not come through, had SMS app lock on me a few times so I just gave up on it. Same sim card works fine in an Iphone SE and a cheapo MotoG5plus. Too bad as I liked the "not" phone.

To make it as easy as possible and not to be confused about the phones of the two of us, my wife and me, we bought two XA2's unlocked in April 2018! Now I have to go back because one phone is down every morning with an empty battery! Not what I expected from SONY! And the expectations about THE Sony lens are way too high. I had other brands before and these cameras were much better! Close-ups, panorama, weak light conditions, the Sony camera is the worst I had! Sorry to say it that clear, but I expected more!
