Nice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Specs were great fit for me. battery life seems fine. It is light weight and quite thin. Very compact. I seems to run a bit hot when kept on lap. Fan is not loud most of the time. When I took it out of the box it had several scratches on. The top is not very sturdy and even though it is matte it is a finger print magnet. Overall it is a very nice laptop for a daily user.

Super fast and convenient!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I was thinking if I should switch it out with something else, but I just love how this laptop is really fast and can be used as a tablet too. The 360 rotation is really convenient, especially when I want to watch movies while laying down, or on my side. It loads webpages and browsers really fast even though i got lots of tabs open. The sound of the fan can be really distinct when you use the laptop while charging, and it sometimes make a subtle sound even when youre not charging it. But that doesnt bother me because it’s so subtle you could barely hear it. The battery life is pretty good too. I tried using it to watch movies and it lasted for about 10 hrs before I had to charge it again at 12%. Also, the screen can be wigglely and not as sturdy but I think that can be a guven because it has to be flexible enough to do a 360 rotation. One thing though is that you won’t find many options for hard shell cases for it. Again, I’m guessing it’s because of the 360 rotation that makes it hard to find one, but other than that I am really happy with this laptop!

Fast computer with temperamental mouse pad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer is blazing fast compared to the old technology I came from. But I find the mouse pad is too sensitive (it sometimes deactivates) and requires a heavier push than most mouse pads on other laptops. The fans sometimes kick in for easy tasks. Also the hinges are strong, but not as strong as in other 360s I viewed.

not comfortable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this after researching and talking to an HP rep in the store. I was replacing a Lenovo yoga that just needed to be updated. I got this at a great price, but once I got home and set it up, I realized it had too many trade-offs that I wasn't willing to accept. The trackpad was way too wide (something apparently many other people complained about), and for me it was too loud. I could hear the fan and it really bothered me, and it got really hot to touch. In the end these were things I couldn't live with so I returned it, great customer service on accepting the return and I got a Lenovo c930.

On it's way back from repair
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this and the next day it was sent in for repair. When the fan ran at high speed, it would make a clicking noise. Couldn't return it to BB because I had already upgraded it to Windows Pro. Supposed to be delivered back from HP tomorrow.

Speedy, Stylish, and Svelte
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This ultrabook checks all the boxes. Not only is stunning to look at with a premium metal shell, chrome hinges, and clean underside, it has a premium feel with machined edges. Pros: -Wicked fast. The 8th gen Intel 4-core i7u CPU blazes through tasks. I'm amazed they crammed a U-series CPU in this tiny chassis -Keyboard feels wonderful and has a delightfully clack-y sound -The screen is very clear with good color saturation and contrast -2 Thunderbolt ports on the right and a legacy USB-A on the left mean this is future-proof but still compatible with today's reality. -Two biometrics - windows hello camera and fingerprint sensor. And the fingerprint sensor is on the side so it can be used while the laptop is closed (like it might be when plugged into an external monitor) Brilliant! -MicroSD slot for easy storage expansion -So thin and light -There are raised edges on the bottom that are perfectly positioned for carrying the device (love it) -Large glass trackpad that works very well -Pen included in the box -Charges very fast using HP adapter Neutrals: -Battery life is adequate. Not great, not terrible. expect 5-6 hours of real-life use. -Sound is OK. Not great, not terrible. Considering the thinness of the chassis, it is fine -Right clicking can be a little balky -Two fans to help with cooling so the CPUs can run longer under load. They are not loud, but you will hear them as a 'whoosh' under heavy load Negatives (almost none) -The case flexes a little bit more than an equivalent MacBook, especially the lid. Feels like it would dent easily -Fans run at low volumne steadily if plugged into an external USB-C monitor -HP Bloatware (but easy to uninstall) -Hinges are a little wobbly, but this seems to be true of all 2-1s At the blowout prices in early 2019 this laptop is an absolute steal. I love the look (even Apple fans have complimented it) and the 2 separate biometrics is a very nice surprise. Also love the MicroSD card slot which is unusual.

Compares to a Surface Pro
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP Spectre 360 is unlike any laptop I have had int he past. It most definitely can be compared to the Surface Pro. It converts into a tablet style and is very lightweight. It powers up quickly, is fast and has a great speaker system. I really enjoy using the pen - but don't always get 100% accuracy when drawing or writing. It is not always a fluid line when you would want it to be. The only other reasons I rated it a 4 instead of a 5 is because it seems to heat up right in the middle where you would hold it in your lap when it is converted into a tablet. This is not comfortable to watch a movie or use it for a long period of time. Additionally the fan is a little loud when it is cooling off. otherwise - this is a fun and stylish computer.

Poor quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first day I got mine the speakers were not working properly, so I went back to exchange it for a another one and the laptop has the same issue. The speakers are a CONSTANT problem and I have yet to figure out how to fix it. The fan is always extremely loud even with minimal programs running. For how much this laptop costs I feel like I wasted my money.
