Pros: this steelbook looks very well I love how captain Phasma and Rey look on this steelbook It’s a cool color Cons: Let me just say this was a huge downgrade of a steelbook design they should’ve done something similar like the last movie where it was in a holographic smooth nice to touch box and said collectors edition this steelbook is nice either way but still wish they would’ve done a little bit more

Perfect for star wars collectors. I got this on sale and even not on sale this movie must have it because of the quality and the movie story of this is worth paying for.

I'm a huge star wars fan, and after my first viewing I was not sold, but after a few more views It has grown on me. The movie has its story problems, but it does move the story along at an entertaining pace. I can't wait to see where JJ takes the finale. From a 4k technical standpoint, this movie looks and sounds fantastic. The special features are okay. Enough behind the scenes stuff to keep me interested. Overall it's worth owning.

I have never had a bad experience with Best Buy. All of the products have withstood the test of time. I primarily buy my DVD movies from here. The regular prices are fair but their sales are awesome. Look to Memorial Day and Labor Day sales on movies. You wont go wrong. As for the movie itself - worthy entry into the Star Wars saga but it could have been so much more to the fans. Still a must own if you have the other films.

I enjoyed this chapter of the saga even more on a proper home theater setup. Crank up the levels with 4k UHD & HDR and the immersion can be enough to draw you right in to the action. Beautiful colors from the red guards to the white storm troopers along with Dolby Atmos sound enveloping you makes this a nice reference film, just like the Bestbuy associate I was working with suggested. Thanks for the advice!

Ok maybe it's not as perfect as the original Star Wars trilogy but it does have its moments! Filled with fantastic special effects, a Luke and Leia reunion, Yoda, an introduction to those adorable creatures the Porgs, and a really entertaining multi-layered story, there is certainly something for everyone. Plus what could be better than the fact it is the first Star Wars movie in 4K, it is a must own!!

Like Mark Hamill, I strongly disagree with the depiction of Luke Skywalker in this film. That being said, I thought it was a fantastic film, an objectively better film than its predecessor, The Force Awakens, which seemed to be a remix of the very first Star Wars. My only complaint is that this movie does not include the DVD, which seems to be the direction Disney is headed with its Blu-ray releases.

It's hard to argue that the film is controversial, but most of the complaints are unwarranted and ignorant. This is a beautiful tale of learning to get up from loss and failure, to accepting imperfection as a quality in oneself and others, and supporting those whose strengths surpass our own. There is no greater Jedi move than peaceful self-sacrifice for the greater good.

This is as story that sets up the next movie. But, having said that, this one does provide for closure and opens things up for question at the same time. The use of color was stunning. I have a 65 inch Sony Bravia A8F and it looked better than at the theater. Just like all Star Wars movies, you need to have a good sound system because visual is only part of the experience! Enjoy

This movie in the Star Wars saga has using watching the progress of the Alliance, Rey’s journey toward becoming a Jedi, the discovery of Luke Skywalker’s location and why he has chosen to away from the current affairs of the galaxy. Lots of action as well as multiple plots going on at once to add to the overall saga of the space-opera that started back in 1977. Recommended.

Awesome movie! A worthy Star Wars film. I love Rey!

I don't hate this movie, but I don't love it either. Hey, Mark Hammil even said he had major problems with the story line of this movie. Its Star Wars and has some awesome moments, but some of it just feels very off for Star Wars and it just kind of sours the movie at times for me. That's just my opinion. I still like to watch the movie, but it's not my favorite of the series. Still a recommend though.

As expected from Star Wars movies, this one is entertaining though not as exhilarating as the others. If not for the high spirited young female Jedi whose performance is totally enchanting, this movie would have been near boring. As for the formats, I did not notice much difference between the 4K Ultra Blu-ray and the Blu-ray. In fact I am happy enough with the blu-ray. Enjoy.... mike

Love the sequels, even though this one (without giving any spoilers), fell a bit short. Still an excellent film and great seeing many familiar characters.

I've seen all the star wars movies and have always been a fan. It's interesting to see a different take on the lore in this newest instillation. Having a girl as the main character who isn't just playing back up to a male protagonist is a good move, but they could have fleshed out her character a little more. Over all very enjoyable!

I’m a fan of this movie, for a lot of the reasons others were upset by it. I love how it subverted expectations and shed a lot of baggage, opening up new possibilities for Star Wars going forward. As a movie, there’s some high quality visuals and sounds here, which I think few people would argue about. Love it in Dolby Vision 4K and HDR and Atmos soundtrack!

I know this movie has its (un)fair share of detractors, but I thoroughly enjoyed the film. This product is also excellent. The quality of Steelbook cases has come a long way since they were introduced about 15 years ago. The features included on the disc are not like those seen on most sets; they are lengthy and fun at the same time. Worth every penny.

Not all Star Wars movies are created equal. I believe this one falls somewhere above episodes I - III but below IV-VI. As expected, the effects, costumes, and action are the best there is. However the story is a bit weak and seems to break the rule maintaining universal story lines across all properties in the Star Wars Universe. I love every Star Wars universe movie

"The Empire Strikes Back," the second installment of Star Wars' original trilogy, is widely held to be the best of all the Star Wars movies. "The Last Jedi" attempts several moments reflective of "Empire," but while it is often thrilling and puts several new spins on established Star Wars canon, but it never quite measures up to the level of its predecessor.

Since we had recently seen “The Force Awakens” on tv, we decided to buy this cd as a follow up. The video portion is excellent, great color,clarity, resolution, etc. The audio portion was not very good. Even though we have a sound bar, at times the audio seemed distorted and unclear. Also, the background music was often too loud, drowning out the dialogue.
