Customers regard the Standard Kit AX Tri Band Wi-Fi System positively for its easy setup, strong and reliable Wi-Fi connection, and excellent performance even in remote areas. While some find the price to be a bit high, many agree that it is worth the investment for the quality of service it provides. There are also some concerns about the lack of a mounting provision for the dish.

This latest Gen 3+ is absolutely amazing! Superbly designed, easy to set up for a day as well as a more permanent roof or pole mount when at home. Used it traveling throughout Texas and back home in NM. Everything just “fits”, build quality is excellent and it functions just like my cable at home. Usually 100-350Mbs down and even in heavy rain (5” in a day) only got buffering for a few seconds, twice. This thing will kill cable and upcoming functions like text and voice, very soon, in association with T-Mobile will kill cell phone companies. I can’t wait for the cell functionality. Streaming is flawless and fast. Maybe not quit as fast as my Gig cable but it’s coming. Get your ASAP!

I live where only slow dsl (7mbps) is available. This was an instant upgrade. I'm getting speeds from 100 up to 240 mbps with an all around average od 130 mbps. Purchasing saved me on the shipping cost and wait time when ordering direct from starlink. Setup was pretty easy hardest part was mounting to the house and running the line through the attic. Once that was complete evrything else was a breeze all in app setup from starlink maybe took 10 min to fire up service and connect my devices to the router. I have had no issues with the service so far. My son loves the service for gaming on xbox with no issues with no lag averaging 21ms latency. Streaming on multiple devices at the same time with no buffering. All security cameras are also hooked up to router and the recording quality is much better than before. I will say that you need to create a 2.4ghz network for the security cameras and smart locks. The starlink router makes it easy to split and create 2.4ghz and 5ghz network. My home is 2000 square foot and the router has plenty of power to cover every corner with full bars and even reaches exterior cameras. Starlink is definitely a great option in places that don't have fiber internet available. It blows dsl and mobile service internet out of the water. Definitely happy with purchasing this product from Bestbuy!

Setup was super easy. The speeds are lightening fast whereas our previous ISP was very unreliable. I work from home and this has been a game changer. No more missing work due to unreliable connections or bad weather. The Starlink is easy to control with the app and the app is very user friendly. My only complaint would be is that IF something were to go wrong, Starlink does not have a customer service number to call. You have to submit a ticket amd wait for someone to email you back.

We needed reliable internet in our new rural home. We tried to get the DSL setup and they kept telling us to wait for Fiber, T-mobile sent us a wireless internet router even though they in fact did not provide service in our area.
finally i stopped putting it off and made the investment in Starlink. I am extremely glad i did. I was able to pick it up from BestBuy and set it up SAME DAY. The speeds are consistently above 150 mbps, never dipping much below 50 mbps and occasionally reaching 250+ when the starlink satellites align. Plus, if there is ever a better deal for fiber internet in my area and need to cancel, i own this equipment and can subscribe month to month to take internet camping or to more remote locations.
If I had to touch on a few downsides (not enough to diminish the overwhelming positive value of the service) it would be that providing a consistent signal throughout our 2200 sq ft house needed the additional purchase of mesh nodes/boosters. Without one the signal was still around 20-50 mbps in the basement. starlink sells additional routers for $150, but i decided to put in a TP link wifi mesh system though for slightly cheaper and that works great.

First off this dish is easy to install and setup. Second it also is giving me great speed up to 350mbps down and 30mbps up. I live where I had only one option for internet which worked but not very fast and had issues at times. I had looked at Starlink several times but didn’t wanna pay that much money for internet but then they had a sale so I gave it a try, and boy am I glad I did. I have had no issues with the ditch so far and have had it for about a month now. So if you need fast internet and have no other option I highly recommend Starlink!

I love the Gen 3. It is literally plug and go. I will tell you the G3 needs a pole adapter, which I am waiting on. It is literally sitting in my yard, taped to a table and running faster than I could imagine. I will attach photos of speeds after installation thru to the next day. The app will show you exactly where it is and where it needs to be. Starlink has a company set up your account and they charge 199 and your 1st month Starlink fee.

Really easy to set up and install. Have a flat roof house so super easy to lay flat. We live in a super rural area surrounded by acres upon acres of pecan trees. With centurylink we were barely able to get 3 mbps , with Verizon Business Internet it improved to 25mbps. With starlink we have been able to consistently get over 300mbps. It has transformed our streaming and gaming experience dramatically!

Starlink has been a game changer. Two hours from civilization in the middle of the national forest I was getting 250+ Mbps down and speeds between 15-30 Mbps up. I was able to do everything just as if I was at home including crystal clear calls and connectivity as long as I had a clear view of the northern sky. These speeds were on the Roam Plan that does say speeds may be throttled. I was also able to mount the receiver flat on the top of my SUV giving excellent connectivity even when in motion.
If trees or other obstructions block your view of the north your experience may be seriously degraded.

Love it. I'm currently setup with the roam plan. More then enough for gaming and streaming movies at the same time. The app makes it easy to find the best placement for your starlink.... Even with trees overhead starlink links right up. Our first time out with it we had a lot of trees overhead - got the warming saying we may experience some interpretations but never had a issue. We gammed and watched movies all weekend and experienced no lag or disruptions. Best Buy tech team was very helpful with this purchase. Probably would have held off on buying if it wasnt for the Best Buy team!

Living in a rural area, we will never be able to get any cable ISP. I was using Viasat and the service was horrible and only 20mbps or less. You can't stream movies or anything else with that slow speed. Now, I can do everything and can do it well with Starlink! Thanks Best Buy!!!!!

Comares to other non satellite wifi. Don't even have it mounted (mostly clear view of sky) and gets really good signal. We do a decent amount of 4k streaming on multiple devices and we play some online games. It works good. Haven't had any noticable outages during moderately heavy storms. Only ever went without signal during a tornado warning. When you're only option is this, Hughes, or Viasat it can't compare. A bit pricey but what we had before (Hughes) was truly unusable so to us it was worth it.

Had tmobile internet before this. Their speeds were so bad in my area even with waveform anntennas only got 40mbps at best. Also, tried the newest Via Sat that did give a top speedtest with Via Sat unleashed plan of 140mbs. However, Via Sat wanted $135 a mobth before taxes (with needing to rent their modem). Starlink is $120 and speeds are INSANE (to me)! Download is 350 mbps and upload is 28.1 (ping is around 20). I would never had thought I would have these speeds at my house. It is good amount of money upfront. However, you will be happy you may the choice once it is up and running. It did take me a little longer to setup cause my system had multiple updates and needed to reboot several times. Working great now though and is super consistent.

Fantastic technology! We live in a very rural part of south central TN. Hughes Net was horrible and we lived with daily signal drops, and being throttled back and… we’re not high bandwidth (gamers) users. We couldn’t use our Verizon cells either. Starling was straightforward and easy to install. We have trees and a big barn so I ended up mounting my satellite on the eave of our house. Zero obstructions, zero drops and great throughput. We can even use our cell phones now. I wish we’d had gotten Starlink 3yrs ago. We’ll be taking with us on vacays motoring around the states in our motorhome. Yes! We highly recommend and endorse Starlink, especially if you’re rural and travel frequently. We’re considering 2-3 more Gen 3 routes or establishing a Mesh Network for extended connectivity to our barn.

I'm impressed now. The standard Starlink isn't fiber speed, but it's really great. One of the things that I'm most impressed with is that it doesn't stop working occasionally when there's a storm (like some other satellite services). Even with a Cat 4 hurricane coming by, it continued to work with no noticeable degradation in service.
I had no issues with installation, other than getting it to recognize a service address since my address doesn't come up in maps yet but I found a workaround address.
Bigtime thanks to SpaceX - Starlink for this endeavor. I would be using a weak cellular provider for internet if it weren't for this.

Absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone who lives in a rural remote area where there is maybe only 1 other carrier!! It’s been amazing a life saver truly, it was easy to install and get going I done it all by myself and I am not a very technically inclined savvy person, so for me to be able to install it myself was a great achievement, but it’s truly super easy to use and it’s great super fast speed not one complaint yet and I’ve had it close to a month now!

While getting past the initial sullen feelings regarding ownership of the company, I took a leap of faith and gave this a shot with the intention of running this as our primary internet service for a campground with literally zero cellular coverage in the middle of nowhere, Vermont. Two people worked full-time with multiple zoom calls, while accessing systems and email remotely. This thing hit +400mbps at its max and easily stayed stable around 300mbps even with overcast and daily rain showers. I am now a believer! We just got the roof rack frame and will be trying out roaming down the highway. Fingers crossed, we will be pleasantly surprised again! Would recommend over and over and over again to friends and family.

My family and I live in the sticks on little over 12 acres of land. And this is such a necessary purchase. The ISPs around us are very very limited and the price to performance they offer is awful such a waste of money, not to mention the price is terribly expensive. This StarLink kit has been such a great blessing for us. We get a consistent signal across our property even though the thick tree lines and deep brush. Highly highly recommend it to anyone out in the sticks.

We bought this to use while we are camping. I work remotely so all I need is an internet connection. This works great and no one can tell that I’m not sitting at home in my office. Configuration when buying from Best Buy is not just plug and play like buying directly so be prepared and don’t listen to people online telling you how easy it was to set up. You have to make all the SL connections and then plug it in. Download the app on your device and for the “kit number” I had to use the serial number on the back of the dish to configure it. Sometimes the app hangs when entering your payment info so you may want to configure it from a laptop.

I am located in Tucson AZ,
I had cox 2 gbs connection for a couple years, I just wanted to try starlink to see what the fuss was all about.
I must say, I love it, I get around 400mbs down, 25-30 up, The installation took less then 10 mins, I was up and running in no time.
I have around 45 devices on my wifi, 8 full HD nest cameras, ipads, smart fridge, tvs, all kinds of stuff running.
I also have two gaming computers playing online games with ZERO issues, latency is around 20ish, not bad for satellite internet, considering cable is around 13-15,
Three days in I called and canceled the cox line, I was paying 210 dollars, including unlimited data and cox care,
I now pay 120 a month, the extra 100 I am saving will pay for the starlink kit in 6 months.
Just keep in mind, it will only get better sooner than you think.
I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to have a nice stable internet connection with wifi 6 and the option to use your own router if needed.
