Great sound but it has issues.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok so I first bought Astro a50’s didn’t like the way they felt on my head way to heavy and tight so I went with these, used them for a few days with absolutely no issues and then the sound started to go in and out almost like the game was lagging. I started to move around close by devices and mess with my nighthawk router and nothing seemed to fix the issue. I also noticed the headphones would turn off on their own every now and then. As far as sound quality goes I used these with Dolby atmos enabled and they sound pretty good as far as being able to tell where the Enemies footsteps are coming from. I would have to say the overall volume is pretty low compared to the Astro a50’s and there is little to no bass at all with these. They are comfortable for my big head the ski goggle strap helps and they are lightweight. Ps. I used these with my Xbox one X Pro. Good sound Comfort Bluetooth Build quality Ease of use Cons. Low volume Little to no bass Connectivity issues Button placement No virtual surround sound

When they work they're great.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros- When it come to comfort these headphones are hard to beat. The quality of the sound is clear and excellent in my opinion. The mic works great, I haven't had any complaints from my friends when using chat. Build quality is also pretty good. Cons- The control wheels and buttons are in a terrible place. When putting on/taking off the headphones or trying to hit the mute button, its really easy to bump the volume knobs. While the sound is clear and great for gaming, it is a little lacking in the bass department. Wireless range isn't that great and once it disconnects it doesn't reconnect automatically (at least mine doesn't). It pops and loses connection pretty frequently. Price is way too high for this product based on what my experience has been. Overview- when these work they work great. If I could get a solid connection 100% of the time I could live with all the other faults these headphones have. However I would not purchase these again. For the price i expected a much better experience from these. My router is far from my xbox, I have a clear line of sight and sit within 6' of the xbox and still lose connection about once or twice per hour. I do not recommend these headphones in their current state.

Great headphones specifically designed for Xbox
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. These headphones have worked flawlessly. Top observations. 1. Convenience - the wireless connectivity works so easily with the Series X paired just like a controller. I would suggest that you make sure you download the firmware update. Also paired very easily with my phone. The nice thing is I can listen to music or podcasts on my phone simultaneously as I play. It’s very easy to hit the dial and adjust the balance between the two. Just be aware that your phone volume sets the baseline volume level. 2. Audio quality is great. The mids and highs are super crisp and clear. Could use a touch more base but it’s still there. Stealth 700’s definitely have stronger base but not quite as crisp. The sound seems to never have distortion either which may be because the max volume is a touch lower than you see on other headsets. Also haven’t noticed any lag or delay over the Xbox wireless signal. Still appreciated though and the sound level seems plenty loud enough. Really love the sound quality overall. 3. Comfort. Reminds me of the Rig headsets. Super lightweight and very comfortable. It’s a fabric material on the ear cups and not as sound isolating as the Stealth 700s but you tend to forget you even have headphones on. 4. Build quality feels worthy of the price tag. 5. The mic quality seems to be great. No issues and the mic conveniently retracts into the headset for a low profile appearance when not in use and you don’t have to worry about losing it. Overall if you’ve got the money and you want a great sounding set of headphones with all the features and convenience you could need this is a fantastic set of headphones.

Good headset for Xbox
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great fit and comfort. Sound quality in game sounds accurate but the headset seems incapable of producing much bass sound. Tweaked with the settings to no avail - vocals and highs sound great when listening to music though. Retractable mic is a nice feature. Also nice that it can connect to bluetooth and wireless simultaneously although pairing seems to be an issue at times when switching between devices.

Worth the money….
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is amazing in this headset ive had it for a little over two years its still going strong built well very sturdy. Reallly good highs and crisp sound only thing it lacks is a good deep strong bass even playing with the eq settings in the steel series app still wasnt enough to pull the bass out and make it immersive. Only issue ive had with this headset is random disconnects every now and then which can be frustrating other than that its been pretty good.

Do not buy if it is for console.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lots of problems with connectivity. The sound is pretty decent, it does lack a bit in the bass frequencies. Would give this a 5 star for comfort. Definitely did a great job with the top strap. This is all well and good, but it has tremendous problems connecting to xbox one. It will constantly drop and i will have to turn it off mid game, and turn it back on. Typically 50% of the time it will turn back on the sound, but then that chat function wont work. So you have to try again. Repeat this process over and over again until you finally give up and dont enjoy playing games anymore. I would have returned it if it was not in the middle of covid lockdown when i made the purchase, it has been too long at this point i believe. Do not buy this to use with an xbox, you will be greatly dissatisfied. And yes, I have tried everything online with fixing myself and turns out a lot of people have this problem, and it is a known issue that will never be resolved from what I understand.

Totally worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had MANY Xbox headsets over the years. Prior to this one, my most recent was the Microsoft Xbox Wireless headset ($99). There are three main things I wasn't thrilled about with the MS headset, that this one fixes. 1) comfort. The MS headset would need to be repositioned constantly. The 9X does not. It is very comfortable. 2) Mic quality. The MS headset made me sound compressed or a little like a robot, as my friends would say. the 9X mic sounds really good. 3) sound quality. The MS Headset was pretty good but the bass could get muddy. The 9X sounds really good and the spatial audio is great. The is a bit less bass but not in a bad way. It just sounds better. Also, I highly recommend the Dolby Atmos Headphone app on the Xbox. It has great spatial separation and a custom EQ if you want to tweak the sound a bit or add back some bass. Add bass back to the 9X via the Dolby is sounds better than how the MS headset sounded.

Best headphones I've tried.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing headset. It was super easy to connect to the xbox series x because it just required one button press. The controls are fun and easily arranged. The headset itself is probably the most comfortable headphones I have ever used. Used multiple Bose headsets before. The sound is good, although not too bass heavy to provide long term gaming without any kind of headache or ear pain. Brilliant. I thought it would be a problem at first but upon playing for hours on end on fairly high volume, I realize how I was very happy that they didn't do the high bass that Bose does.

So far, no issues!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first wireless Xbox headset coming from a wired Razer Kraken set. I noticed the bass isnt quite as powerful as the Razer but by no means is it weak or bad. I've had a couple connection issues but not during game-play. When I turn on the console and turn on the headphones, chat audio doesn't come through sometimes at first but its quickly fixed by turning them off and back on. I like the sound, the simplicity, the fit, and how the mic lights up red when muted. I wish the ear piece fabric was leather, but the fabric is well ventilated so, cant complain.

So comfortable
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far the most comfortable headset on the market. The sound quality is lacking in the bass side which I rather enjoy my sound to be a bit more bass heavy. But still, a good headset. Retractable mic is nice, and the built in Bluetooth is a cool feature. You can be connected to both your Xbox and phone at the same time, to answer calls or listen to music on the go. All headsets should be built with the same attention to detail! Go buy this now!

The perfect WFH and gaming headset

Good headsets
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds great but does lack some base. The A50’s are better in that department. A little heavy but very comfortable. Mic sounds great and stows away in the headset. Does not get as loud as other headsets but I never turn them all the way up anyways. Connects to your phone at the same time which is nice.

Good (not great) gaming headset
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have previously owned both wired and wireless higher-end gaming headsets with brands such as Turtle beach and Astro’s. For the price, I would go a different route. The main reason for that is the wireless connection to the Xbox one can be inconsistent at times. In the middle of Call of Duty or another similar game where perfect sound is cruck always, and the sound will suddenly start going in and out. The Bluetooth option is nice but not really a necessary luxury. Also the bass aspect is really below average compared to other models, even with Dolby Atmos enabled.

50/50
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The surround sound on it is great. When I play a game I can tell if there above me or to my right or left.what I didn’t like was they didn’t feel firm on the head.bass wasn’t so good.and the volume is too LOW!but the clarity was amazing.I would recommend for gaming.but for music or watching a movie not so much.they don’t sound bad at all.but for a $200 headset I expected a little more.these will kick the A50 out of the park when it comes to hearing footsteps and clarity.but when it comes to bass and loudness the A50 are way better.I own both of them.but to each their own.this is just my opinion.

Arctis 9X
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good gaming headset for what you’re paying for but even a better deal if you’re able to get it on sale! Just don’t throw it around or it might break easily ! Just note if you like music this headset barely has any bass.

Eh
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its definitely a good mic for gaming but very terrible when it comes to the crisp sound. I dont like how it lacks bass even with the different sound options. Tried adjusting and i couldnt get the sound i was looking for. Other than that it was ok just not for that price.

I like it
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think this is better than my Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen II. Doesn’t have that popping and crackling sound that the TB gets from time to time. Though this headset doesn’t have the best bass but the overall sound is solid.
