    Scrolling Problems.

This mouse has been fantastic for accuracy and ease of use. It does kind of cook through batteries though. With rechargable batteries this isn't my main issue. The issue is that the scroll wheel does not work well. It jumps like a madman. Scrolling down causes the mouse to go a little bit down the page before jumping back up and stopping your scroll momentum even if you are scrolling quickly. This makes web browsing infuriating as I have to scroll a half dozen times or more just to move midway down a page. I have initiated a support request with steel series for a refund and will be purchasing a corsair mouse when (or if....) I am refunded. Before you ask, I reset the mouse, have changed the windows setting for scrolling items per click, there are no updates for the mouse, there are no updates for my pc, and I have used compressed air and needle nose tweezers to clean the scroll wheel area. I have also tried holding the dpi button for a few seconds which seems to sometimes be a bandaid fix, only for the issue to come back hours or even minutes later. Defective.

Overall a great mouse with excellent battery life and enough programmable buttons for my needs. It fits comfortably in the hands and you can in a way adjust the weight by limiting having the option to either use 1 or 2 batteries out of the 2 AAA slots that are available. You also have the option to either utilize a usb receiver or Bluetooth however you have a bit more customizability on the SteelSeries GG program when utilizing the usb receiver. The feet glide very well on the desk mat and the mouse is easy to disassemble if need be. The one con I have with this mouse however, which I may have just been unlucky with was that after about a month the scroll wheel input started intermittently skipping and either moving a few ticks up or down when only scrolling in one direction. Luckily the problem was solved by removing the top of the mouse and slightly moving the metal clip to the left of the wheel to not be so close/tight when scrolling. After slightly moving it away with a paper clip, the scroll wheel stays smooth and tactile during up and down scrolling and works perfectly.

    Great budget gaming mouse

I picked this mouse up to use with my laptop for work and on the road. The Bluetooth is quick and works flawlessly once paired, same can be said for the 2.4ghz dongle. Having both options makes flipping between my work and gaming laptop a breeze when I'm staying in a hotel. Nice and light, and is so far holding up extremely well being tossed around and carried in a bag with minimal protection in the mouse pouch. My previous wireless glorious mouse had a broken scroll wheel after just two week and ran twice the price. The Steel series software uses minimal resources, is easy to navigate, and makes setting up profiles a breeze. If you can snag this thing on sale like I did, it's absolutely worth every penny.

For the price tag this mouse is a pretty good bargain when compared to other wireless options. 4 stars because the scroll wheel squeeks sometimes when scrolling. But other than that pretty good.

Its a great mouse if you need a wireless one the DPI serrings are a little woerd but once you get it set its great. Only issue is that the scroll wheel would squeal and I returned it but overall had no issues other than the scroll wheel.

It works great. Only complaint is the flashing green light in the scroll wheel that started less than a week after getting the mouse.

It is what I would call a budget gaming mouse. That is the key takeaway. Buttons are stiff. Scroll wheel takes some effort to move it. These are things you do not see in a higher grade gaming mouse. Additionally, it is annoying how it often puts itself in sleep mode. You will frequently have to move it around to get it to wake up. I do not like that.

Not worth the money. The scroll wheel gave out after only 7 months of use. For a gaming mouse, it's not sturdy enough for regular gaming use.

The mouse has a nice feel and seems sturdy but when you scroll the wheel fast it sounds like a hamster wheel! It’s like the wheel needs WD-40. Battery also drains fast!

This mouse was great, but the scroll wheel stopped working properly after about 1.5 years. I contacted customer support and they verified that the mouse was broken, but they wouldn't offer a replacement or fix since it was past the 1 year warranty.

If you want something that works for a few months, get this! My scroll wheel broke after a few months, and i hate having to use it when gaming. The cheap material used is so bad. I tried taking it apart, but the materials ended up breaking on itself. Waste of my own money, and time. Never would buy or use again.
