All other adapters with 2 HDMI ports can only put out the same signal. So this is the one.

Monitor flickers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this yesterday and the HDMI-connected monitor turns off for about 30 seconds and on for about 10 minutes. I replaced the HDMI cable and it still turned off and on. I swapped the docking station with another one we had in the house, and the monitor worked fine. I narrowed the problem with the specific docking station. I looked online and noticed that this is a complaint the company has addressed so I'm sure it happens to a lot of their products - not just a one-off faulty item. I'm planning to return this docking station and getting one that works, which will likely be cheaper.

Posted .This dock uses DP Alt Mode that is in the USB-C/Thunderbolt port of a laptop. Not all laptops have this compatible port if they are older laptops. Posted .This hub is designed more for laptop not gaming stations. It could be that that USB C port on the Steam Deck is not a DP Alt Mode port and that could be why it would not work with your set up.

This is a USBC Alt Mode dock and does not require drivers to work you just need to have a USBC port or Thunderbolt port that supports DP Alt Mode. First please update your operating system and your computer. To update the computer please go to the support site of the manufacturer and look for any software updates available for your computer. If your laptop has a Thunderbolt 4 port that it should have that support. Otherwise you will need to check your laptop specs or with the manufacture to confirm.
