    Ordered the tv on the 21st, they delivered it on the 23rd and I opened it today on Christmas, plugged. It up and powered on only to come to a broken screen. Geek Squad doesn’t cover accidental damage so I had to call to see why could be done and they said at this time returns and exchanges are unavailable for that item because that specific tv I bought is out of stock. So now I have to either wait for it to come back in stock or get another model. Worst experience ever.

    First got this tv and was really impressed. 14 months later and it's dead. Another piece of junk, throw away tv. Best buy tells me to contact the manufacturer but I'm sure they will be of big help. The screen/picture just faded away, to black. Common TCL problem. Buyer beware

    Green Screen of death twice less than two months.

    Green Screen freeze on streaming services like Netflix, Disney, Hulu (not YouTube for some reason) after 1 month. Solution: keep unplugging it and plugging it back in. Happen 2 times before even reaching the second month. Not about unplugging a brand new TV every time it gets cranky. My 8-year-old tv, never froze.

    Bought two of these for different rooms in home along with TCL Alto 9+ for each. One of them started having issues with shutting off and rebooting on its own and turning on sound bar even though settings for this were turned off almost immediately. Also had issues where remote would stop working shortly before this reboot occurred. Second set started having same issues shortly after as well as just freezing. Very aggravating to be watching TV waiting for the next time it will shut off. I think this shows that it's not a defective unit but rather a widespread issue. Very frustrated. Stay very far away. Would recommend you look anywhere else for any entertainment center needs.

    This TV started off with good picture and color. Not great sound. Had to use a sound bar. After only 7 months, the TV went black and had powered off. It never came back on. I will never buy this brand again.

    Panel has started to get purple spots across it after only 18 months of ownership. Should’ve gotten Geek Squad protection, just didn’t think of it when I bought it. Contacted TCL and was told they won’t help me since outside the 1 year warranty. Funny that, am disappointed I can’t buy something and expect it to work more than a couple years, especially something a costly as a TV

    This tv is the best tv I’ve ever bought, the tv has very nice picture quality for the PlayStation I have and I can watch movies on Netflix very good.The built in speakers were very good it can go very loud without losing its quality of sound.

    Motion Blur Issues!!

    After watching tons of action movies thru it’s built in streaming services and playing PS4 games on it for the past 2 months or so, I have become very disappointed with the quality of the picture. This tv has a very noticeable picture flaw, where during action scenes, the outline of the character or object becomes very blurry. It is extremely annoying and I’ve done everything in the settings to fix this problem but it does not go away! Very disappointed!

    Wouldn't recommend ... flashing black with two weeks of purchase... took back and got a Sony ... our Samsung went bad after only 4 years ... we have another Sony TV has lasted over 10 years.

    It WAS a great TV until it broke one with a load pop, unfortunately 4 months after the 1 year warranty expired. Now it's just a huge paper weight. I'm afraid TCL has some major quality issues to address. Looking online this seems to be a fairly common issue.

    Less than ideal service. I pay for geeksquad yet some other person not affiliated came, HOURS LATE. I was given a time window that was not met, and after calling multiple times and rearrange my work schedule so I can be home. They finally came. What a disappoint, and what is the point of geeksquad?

    The TCL 55 inch Riki Tv stopped working after 3 weeks. Fortunately Best Buy gave me a full refund. I purchased a Samsung and am very happy with it! Stay clear by of TCL…..cheap but unreliable!!!

    I would not recommend this tv to anyone. It cut off in the middle of the picture. Does not return to whatever you’re watching after a commercial. You get a constant rewind in middle of movie. It’s a piece of junk( for use of kinder words).

    This tv worked for 3 days then IR device on tv wouldn’t recognize remote. Total nightmare in getting a new replacement tv delivered and mounted. Terrible experience coordinating appointments
