I've had this TV for a week now, hooked up my Onkyo 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos System and everything is awesome from picture to sound, colors are not overpowering like some other TV's even set to Vivid the colors are crisp and facial colors an tone are the best I have seen on any of the current mid-range TV's....I am very pleased with this TV, easy to set up and if you have to adjust the color it's very simple...when your way Hong something just hit the astrict button on your remote and there are a lot of picture, color and some audio settings you can change or adjust...I've seen about 6 TVs in the last 6 weeks and the TCL beats them all.. If your looking for a nice TV with awesome picture you need to check this TCL out.

Amazing television. I have the QLED my son has the 2018 6 series. It should not be possible to pack these specs into a display at this price. Everything about this television screams $2000+. Would recommend to anyone that wants cutting edge 4K HDR but can’t afford OLED.

This TV is at or near the top of several “Best 4K TVs Under $1,000” lists, so I figured it was the one for me. For reference, this TV replaced a 10-year-old 55” LG edge-lit LCD TV, so I was likely to be impressed with pretty much any 4K TV. The first thing I noticed was the brightness. Yes, the image is razor-sharp, but the brightness is phenomenal. We’re only using Netflix, Hulu TV, and Amazon for content, and we’ll also plug in the Switch from time to time, so I can’t speak to upscaling capabilities or anything like that. One other pleasant surprise was the sound quality. So much better than our last TV!! This being a Roku TV is really convenient, too. The other two TVs in our house run on the Roku platform, as well, so it’s familiar to us (plus, you can use the Roku app on your phone as a remote, in case you misplace the remote). Please do your own research to make sure this TV is right for you. In short, if your budget for a 4K TV is under $1,000, I think you’ll be very satisfied with this one.

I was looking for a very good value TV and could not settle for OLED TVs for the prohibitively high prices. This QLED TV answers that need. No need to pay thousands of dollars for a high contrast TV through local contrast of dimming or turning off QLED arrays that are dark in the scene. The TV does have a little light spill from the light, but nothing noticeable. The only time this technology is not that great is viewing stars where points of light are way too small. Which is the inherent downside of QLED vs OLED. Besides, the TV itself has excellent colors and a very wide color gamut. Test it with dolby vision tests and you'll be surprised at how well the picture quality of the tv is. This is a very capable HDR TV and you won't be disappointed with the amount of value you're getting.

Great TV with a couple of minor issues that keep me from giving it 5 stars. 1. The screen doesn't handle reflections well, so you'll want to keep this in mind when placing it near a light source. 2. There is a vignetting effect that is noticeable on light backgrounds, especially if you're within 6-8 feet of the screen. 3. If you plan on gaming, keep in mind that it only has a 60Hz refresh rate. 4. Keep in mind that it uses a VA panel, so the viewing angles are limited in comparison to more expensive OLED or IPS sets. On the plus side, Roku TV has a bigger selection of available apps than any other smart TV with the exception of Android TV based ones like Sony. My old LG didn't have Sling TV or Apple TV+ but Roku does. The contrast ratio is incredible, the colors are rich and 4k material is incredibly detailed. All in all a great buy for the money.

Bought this tv about two weeks ago was a little nervous as I usually go with samsung. My samsung is about 9years old. I wanted a 4K tv and The price was right on this one so i went ahead a purchased it. I have had to play with the settings here and there due to motion blur and also the dreaded soap opera effect. 4K content looks great the fact that it has Dolby Vision is pretty sweet. I don't have cable so we use it mostly streaming netflix and hulu have been working great with a nice picture. The reason for the 4 stars is because a day after my return window closed i was walking by the tv and noticed to black spots in the left corner. The good news they are only noticeable when u are up close, Although i now know they are there. This tv is in the bedroom so it wont be getting used as much as the main tv in the LR.I am glad i did a warranty on this tv since there seems to be already two pixels burnt out.

It had been 9 years since buying my last TV and I felt it was time for an upgrade. I game and really want a PS5 and the ability to watch movies in 4K. I don’t have thousands of dollars so I did a lot of research for the best TV on a budget and this is it. So far, it’s exceeded my expectations and the smart TV interface is insanely good. I was thinking of going with the series 4 or 5 at first but decided to go the extra mile and it was worth it. Crisp picture, lots of customizable options and the Roku is such a treat. Let’s just say I’m the sort of person who never reviews anything but this TV got me wanting to. Get it.

After purchasing a Samsung 6900 I was underwhelmed. I looked up reviews on TVs around this price range and this TV kept coming up with great reviews. Picture is fantastic. Dolby Vision HDR on a TV in this price range is incredible. Put on The Mandalorian or The Witcher and you’ll see. Simple interface. No lag. Great purchase!

Download Roku app IPQ app Color gradient not good will show Banding Movement can cause strange juddering. OLED will inherit burn in if you leave it on a static image too long but the trade off is it will look best. Roku apps aren’t the best . Quality wise, often slower than fire stick or xbox apps. If you try to switch between inputs and apps too quickly it will freeze and reboot the screen which takes about 2 mins. (Red screen) Other thoughts No other Panel comes Close at this price Range It has served me well . Firmware update that came out this year that allows for HDMI 2.0 -must set manually in settings. VRR And smoother eARC-didn’t work for me for about a year.

So I finally tried a TCL. I must say I am impressed. The picture is so vivid and clear no matter which setting I have it on. Including Movie, Standard and Low Power. Which is the setting I am using. The ROKU interface is so much better than Sony/Samsung/Apple. Wow! Color me impressed. I actually had to deny access to my calendar when I was looking to schedule a new tv series. I only denied it because I haven’t set up my VPN for the tv, yet. Time will tell if this budget set lives up to its expectations. So far, so good.

I really like the TV. I'm a recent cord cutter and I needed something for my den that has lots of light and the smart tv options, and this works very well. Beautiful picture quality - very realistic picture quality and great color. It has lots of features, and is a good size. I really like the Roku operating system - it's very intuitive. The only negative i have is that sometimes the outline of objects blur in fast moving action. However, that may be the content, or settings that need to be adjusted. This is a sophisticated set, so it may be user error. Overall, I am VERY happy with it.

I had originally installed a 55" TCL 4 Series in my office because those could be had for around $300 shipped at the time. It arrived and while the display wasn't great, it was sufficient for my home office. However, as I was now spending more time in my home office, I decided to sell the 65" TV in my bedroom and move the 55" from my office up there. That "required" me to replace it and I selected the 6 Series 55" as the replacement. The quality of this compared to the 4 Series is really night and day. From the BT remote, to the build quality to the panel itself. The blacks are far and away better on this than the 4 Series. It's a very nice TV for the price and I don't really have any complaints. I have it connected to several inputs and paired to a Polk sound-bar + sub via ARC. Everything works great. 4K from an iMac works great as well.

I was absolutely amazed at the clarity of the picture and the vividness of colors with this screen. This is a great TV for the price. Setting up Roku on the TV is easy and having the app as a back up controller is great. Highly recommend this TV for anyone looking for a great TV at a low price.

Really nice picture. I just love this tv. Best picture out of the six displayed in the same section. Roku is very easy to navigate and has all the options I need.

TCL THE COLOR LIVES........ I HAVE OWNED PANASONIC PLASMA I HAVE OWNED 40 INCH Direct View CRT Mitsubishi. This the best $550 I have ever spent on a television. TCL Recieves high marks from Video Reviewers #3 TV Brand in the world...... My 55inch 4k series 6 is wonderful Can't wait to buy a 65inch 8 Series One day. My salesperson was professional and quite accommodating during Covid 19 and it has made my time at home that much more bearable. Thank You!!!!!!!

I am happy with this purchase it looks as good as the more expensive tvs. For the price its hard to beat. It sounds good with just the tv speakers. Loving the Dolby Vision.

I use this TV in my room, I live in a small studio and it great, the colours are out of this world, my place is fairly dark so I don't have a bright space watching this TV. I play video games and it is amazing Dolby Vision and HDR content look fantastic.

I’m new to the TCL brand, having owned Sony, Samsung, Toshiba, and Insignia in the past. I’m nervous about longevity of their machines. With that said, this TV only has a few comparable models (M-Series Quantum by Vizio & Hisense H9F) in this price range. The latter is sold out and no longer produced, I believe, and the former is pretty identical. I’d prefer the Vizio, but stock wasn’t immediately available. So far, I love the Roku OS. It’s just simple. I can lose the AppleTV now. I haven’t noticed much difference between 4K and 1080p content. This is my first 4K TV though. It does show some motion blur, so the response time is pretty disappointing, but I’ll get used to it. Gaming though, is gorgeous. Unit doesn’t run as hot as my Samsung did. I’ll update as I play with the settings. One bummer though; a nick at the top of the TV under the static cover. It passed QA and was packaged with this blemish.

My son bought a 43” series 5 and we were very impressed. We needed a larger TV for a new home and went with the series 6. Very impressed with the quality of the materials and build and equally impressed with the quality of the tv performance. We have had no problems. I’d there is a weak spot, it might be the audio but we have ours in a recessed area in the wall above the fireplace so that may detract from the sound quality. Still More than adequate . I would not hesitate to buy again and also recommend based on the quality you get for the price .

Great tv for the money and the picture is extremely clear. Live sports are great as is movies and Netflix -and the other streaming services. We haven’t done any gaming on it so I can’t speak to that. The built in Roku works perfectly so no complaints here. We mostly stream all of our content and no issues there. The audio is a little lacking but with a TV this size A decent sound bar is a must.
