    Terrible

I bought this from Newegg since they were cheaper there. Sound quality is bad. It sounds slightly muffled and there is too much bass. When there's a lot going on the sounds get covered up in bass reverb and just blend together in a rumble. The sound output is pretty weak, you have to turn the inline volume all the way up to have it at a normal audio level. I couldn't get the mic to work whatsoever. It was so quiet it was barely audible and ultimately worthless. The headset is really tight and pinches your ears. Even if you adjust the headstrap it still presses hard on your ears due to how it's constructed. The wire also seems flimsy and I could see it easily coming loose. Fortunately I got a full refund. Don't waste your time with these.

Get's it done for the price

For $30 this is a great headset for the XBOX360. Especially if you have others in the house that do not appreciate hearing your gaming for one reason or another. Overall, the sound quality is decent and the mic works well. The headset connects directly into the USB port on the 360 and has adapters to connect into the AV cables going from the 360 to the TV. The major complaint about it, which most likely gives the price, are the amount of cords you add to the electronic jumble. The headset has about 12 ft. of cord to allow you to play across the room. However, if someone is walking through it may snag their feet. My toddler daughter enjoys trying to eat the cords while I am in gameplay. This often rips the mic component out of the controller. Since the cords can be used for PC or 360, the mic port is not the most secure in the controller. Nevertheless, it is a durable decent quality system that is completely worth the $30 and free shipping.

For online - not about the XBox

First let me say that I do not use these on an XBox. I purchased these to use primarily online (Skype, online voice chat, etc.), so I cannot comment on their XBox use. Although, as others have said, there does seem to be a lot of cords and connectors that one would have to sort through in order to use these on the XBox. For online use though, they have been terrific. I can hear others speak clearly and they can hear me speak clearly. So, if you are someone who is looking for a pair of headsets for online use then I would recommend these, especially for the price. Make sure that your computer has separate microphone and headphone input jacks. For XBox, I'd probably look elsewhere.

Great product but you have to take care of it and its a hassle to set up if your setting it up with your audio out (BEWARE XBOX USERS: you can not set this up directly to your xbox composite cables i tried it will not work) but once you get it set up its the best product for 30 dollars you could buy :) all though sometimes my mic makes my voice seem "fuzzy" to other players

i received this product in the mail today and instantly was unsatisfied there is cords and more cords in order to use these you would need to sit close to your xbox or have cords running everywhere. plus the plug that goes into your controller falls out if you move the controller around too much. overall would be a product for someone who sits close to their xbox otherwise i would recommend wireless headsets
