Very scary game from the creative minds that brought us the original Resident Evil. This is a scary, action-packed game that will definitely terrify you at points, but at the same time makes you want more!

Great atmospheric game for the next gen systems. CAUTION: Can be scary at times, so play with the lights on....

This is seriously one of the most intense, unpredictable, and demanding games I've played. The gorgeous atmosphere (the use of lighting and shadows) and the gameplay (think Resident Evil 4) are right on point for a survival horror game. The monstrous creatures in this game are some of the most horrifying, and frustrating to kill. Some positives for this game would be the graphics, and the gameplay. Some negatives were that some texture pop-ins will distract from time to time, hardly any storyline, and that some of the "boss" battles are insanely hard and frustrating. Expect to die a lot even on the easiest mode. Overall, a very satisfying game for survival horror gamers looking for some scares.

Haven't gotten to far into the game but so far the story is decent and the gameplay is easy to get used too.

This game delivers in scare factor and definitely is a hard game. But it is fun especially when trying to figure out how to take out enemies with little ammo

it has awesome gore and the gameplay is okay. graphics are above average.

The Evil Within may not be the best game, but it is well worth a $25 price. It will give you plenty of scares, and provide a fun story that make putting up with some minor control flaws ok. The fact that there are so few horror games on next gen consoles as well make this game a must buy for anyone needing to get their scary game fix.

This is one of my favorite games right now and one of the best horror games I've played. I would describe it as a mix between Resident Evil 5 and Silent Hill: Homecoming; both great games in the horror genre. The is plenty of jump scares and you're chased by things that you don't even want to turn around and look at. The games graphics are great so the game really pulls you in and makes you feel like you're actually there. the weapon system is great as well as the new game+. You can't go wrong with this game.

This game will scare the $#! + out of you. I don't even like to play it when I am alone. It's terrifying and creepy when you're being stalked by a hulking, murderous behemoth. You'll enjoy every second of it... If you can handle the experience. Worthy of a spot in your game collection. Try it!

Love the graffix and story line. Controls have a steep learning curve but once you get the hang of it, blood will be shed.

I got this game so I could have something that was not a shooter to play while I was around my wife. She is a Silent Hill fan so I figured. this was a shoe in. I will say it is more like Resident Evil then Silent Hill. It is a good game and I am still trying to figure out with is going on in the game :)

This game is a lot of fun but challenging when it comes to the boss's It might take you a couple of turns but it is worth it so that you can see what is coming up next. You have to use a strategy because resources are in short supply. The main thing is to use your equipment to best of your ability.

The horror genre of games is a very bountiful field these days. This game brought a lot of interesting ideas to the table with the story line, but the gameplay is pretty rough in my opinion. The camera angle gets annoying, the repetive combination of tasks to accomplish to take down bosses is annoying. Graphics and sound are pretty good and I will admit it is gory and scary as promised. I personally will not play it based on the things that bother me about it, but others will find it more than adequate and exciting for their style of play I'm sure.

I would say this game is on par with Resident Evil (you can tell its the same creative team). But as far as being Survival Horror, it does not beat Alien Isolation. Still, this is a fun game and worth your time if you can spare it (and have already played through Alien Iso.)

if you are looking for a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat and freak you out. look no further, this game is the one you are looking for. the graphics are excellent and the game controls are pretty typical for most games now days. the game can get a bit frustrating in certain parts, but from what i have gone through so far, there are multiple ways to do things, other times you just have to be sneaky.

The Evil Within is your classic survival horror game. You will find yourself scared to turn the corner, hesitant to run into the next trap or enemy in your way and how you'll have to outsmart them. You will actually care about your progress. The atmosphere is incredibly tense and will have you wishing you could just hide in the corner and wait it all out until the storm passes. The gameplay is really where this game shines. The upgrade system for your character is also very dynamic. The story is very lacking though. It can be very confusing at first and the main character doesn't have any depth.

One of those games you have to play with the lights on! Great sound and graphics!

If you love survival horror, get this game asap. If you love resident evil 4, get it!

Great zombie game for the gamer who loves a challenge. Use bullets sparingly
