Meeeeh kind of trash
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Flight stick and buttons are ok. The throttle is absolutely garbage. There is no tension at all it falls all the way forward or all the way backwards with a little stop in the middle. I would wait for something better or go PC because these are ok at best.

Button failed after 3 days
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This HOTAS setup is the cheapest entry point and it shows. Construction is all cheap plastic, and the hat switch on the joystick broke after just a few days of use. I returned it and bought a Logitech X52, which is about $80 more expensive. The quality dofference between the two is huge. I have been playing with my X52 for a few weeks now and i have been loving it. Consider splurging and get the X52 over this.

Flaws makes the throttle unusable
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Two flaws made me return this item. First, the throttle is so loose that if you go more than 75% forward or 75% back, it will not hold its position. It just flops all the way to 100%. Looking at all the reviews, it seems as though this may be an issue with only some throttles, but if you get one you are out of luck. Second, the buttons are mapped such that the unit will not work with the menus in Microsoft Flight Simulator. You have to use the Xbox controller to make your menu choices, then use the Thrustmaster to fly the plane. Five stars to Best Buy customer service. I was able to return the item to the nearest store with no problems.

Did not add the fun for which I was hoping…
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was disappointed buy this flight stick and throttle. The throttle has absolutely no resistance to it. If the flight stick had haptic feedback it would make a huge difference. But honestly I thought having the stick would be more fun, but I get just as much enjoyment out of the controller for the series X or Xbox one. With the controller you can feel the windshears , or the plane shuttering from a nosedive or from a stall, among other things. The stick was not worth the purchase for me.

DEAD ZONE, LOSE THROTTLE
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s the only HOTAS available for Xbox so I have no choice but to use this but it has a huge dead spot & is incredibly difficult to use efficiently. Also, the throttle is super lose & has an annoying bump at 50% throttle that sucks. It’s so lose that it feels as if it will fall forward or backwards when left alone. It somehow doesn’t. LoL It’s like a fader on a super high end DJ mixer! Maybe they’re in the wrong business. LoL

No resistance controls, stick and throttle LOOSE
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On the outset the joystick 'system' is good value for money. However, in practice, the throttle is so loose that it simply falls forward due to gravity if you have the throttle setting more than 65%. The joystick has a resistance setting on the base, but the maximum setting is wholly inadequate. Imagine you're playing DCS World, and you're trying to perform air-to-air refueling. All is going well until you realize you're running about 5 knots too slow to hold station with the tanker, so you nudge the throttle forward. Suddenly, it flops forward under its own weight and the afterburners ignite instantly. The next thing you know you've collided with the tanker and its mission-over. The joystick is also far too slack, even on maximum resistance settings to be useful as a precision joystick. If you're looking for something cheap to appease the children for a couple of weeks, purchase this. If you're looking for a companion to accompany you through your voyage into flight sims - look elsewhere.

Thrustmaster for Flight Simumator
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a good item for flight simulators unless you have the muscle to handle it. The thruster is way too loose and too light

Disappointing
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this thing does the job, but the feel really ruined it for me. Way back in the days I used to play FS with a decent stick on PC, so that was kind of my expectation. First of all the cord is of adequate length for a computer setup, but way too short for console/TV playing. Then the feel of the stick is too wobbly and plasticy. If I didn’t know the price I would have guessed $20-$30 max. I’ll wait till they have something better.

Basic flight controler
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It generally works as described but things like the center detent on the throttle are more a hinderance than a feature on many games. If you just want a basic set of axis and some buttons it will do. But layout leaves a lot to be desired.

Awkward design for real pilots
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a pilot, I find the throttle handle is way too large, and the side stick is -ok-, but its design feels odd as well. Also there's a gazillion buttons on this thing, not for a beginner! Feels solid and durable though.

Got a bad one.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this for about a month now. I have to calibrate each time I go to use it. Then only some times does it stay calibrated during use.

Did not even last a month
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this in anticipation of the Ace Combat 7 release, but began using it on Elite Dangerous once I got it. At first everything was going going pretty good with it. The button layout is pretty good, and the grips sit in the hand very nicely. I was enjoying Elite Dangerous quite nicely with it, despite some quirks with it that I began noticing as I played with it. The first thing I took notice of is that the cable that runs between the two halves is a bit short, but I was able to make do with it. Then the stick began creaking only a couple days into using it. Okay, no biggie as long as it's accurate and works. I figured I could live with the little quirks and at least have an alright stick set for the XBOX, even if I did decide to upgrade for the PC in the future. Then it began putting out erratic yaw inputs whenever I gripped the flight stick. Erratic enough where I would suddenly find my ship pulling to the left HARD. Checking the input status in the Windows controller panel confirmed it. When I let go of the stick the twist status sits where it should, but once I grab a hold, it begins jerking all over the place, favoring the left. [In Seth Myers' voice] Really?! After less than a month of using it and it is already failing? Really?! Taking it back. Going to get a decent set and avoid Thrustmaster in the future. Disappointed.
