I own multiple turtlebeach sets and a pair of Astro A50's. Saw the reviews for the 800x and decided to give it a got. The headband and cushion are comfortable and feel upscale, controls and presets are easy to guide through and I've recvd good feedback on the dual hidden mics. Auto charging stand is very convenient as I probably burn through a couple hundred AAA batteries a year on other units. The sound is very accurate depending on the game and I really like the movie mode you can change it too so I don't wake the kids when I want some solid bass from a movie. Bluetooth links easily and is very convenient but it kills the battery quicker which is to be expected. Overall I give 4 stars out of 5, the only thing that holds me back is the max volume capacity which is fine for normal use but in 1st person shooters it seems a little lacking in superhuman mode, that and the battery capacity is average at best, I seem to get about 5 hrs of game time before the battery is depleted

Great features imbedded in this headset, but doesn't seem like it should be priced so high.

Love the comfort and sound but have to be carful when charging as they will not charge if place on the dock slightly off so you have to keep trying till light turns red.

I strictly used this headset for Xbox1 gaming and movies. However, I can't comment on chat audio as I don't play online. Overall, sound is great! The digital surround works suprisingly well. I fits my big head too. The magnetic charging station/base is a great feature without having to fiddle with additional cables. I ultimately ended up return this headset mainly because I could not wear it for a very long time. The "leather" earcup pads cause some discomfort due to heat and sweating, feeling like they stick to my face. For the full $300, I would also expect the headset to be a little more sturdy. The plastic construction felt cheap and while the earcups swiveled, they were filmy and seems to flop around. It's worth noting, I purchased a Turtle Beach Refurbished unit from Bestbuy.com

I bought these headphones for my son because he owns a xbox one with wireless controls so I ordered these headphones to bo along with it but the are very fragile they arrived damaged

Once you figure out how to use the settings and set everything up these headphones turned out to be awesome, switching settings is so easy.

Battery works for hours and the sound is clear and loud!

The microphone is terrible on these headphones. The friends that you regularly play with will notice right away. It sounds like you are talking in a can. You can also hear it with the mic monitoring turned on(which is a necessity for me). The Good: Great sound quality(for video game headphones), completely wireless, great charging stand, bluetooth, surround sound The Bad: The microphone. It's hard to believe that the microphone is so bad on these considering voice chat is the number one reason someone would pay so much for "video game headphones". If you just want wireless headphones for game audio, your money is much better spent on regular music headphones. Don't buy these for chat Edit: Your voice will kind of sound like you are communicating through the Kinect. It's that bad. I returned and bought a used pair of Turtle Beach 500x. Unfortunately they are discontinued

i love mine so much that my son wanted one too for his birthday. he loves it. too bad i he can't hear us call him for meals with the noise cancelling on.

Best gaming headset ever owned...no microphone cord needed

Mic isn't good, there is a low frequency buzzing sound, audio was good beside the buzzing noise, didn't feel durable, the app worked great, Bluetooth was good.

Good headset, but I wouldn't pay full price for these. Loud, clear and crisp audio. However, I had to return them, since thr bluetooth audio was not functuoning properly. I went thru Turtle Beach customer service step, in the end the wanted me to send them in for warranty. I chose to return them back to Best Buy.

I bought one refurbished TB 800x. Recieved headset is just like new one. Cosmetic conditions 10/10. sound quality 10/10. mic 8/10. this headset the best for gamers....

Great sound and comfy to wear the mic work good but they just straight just stoped working I ownd them for less than 5months didn't buy warranty :-(
