These lights are so fun and worth the cost. The app is easy to use and there are multiple different settings to allow for many different configurations, as well as customization options. They are incredibly bright and vibrant. If you’re thinking about getting these, you won’t be disappointed. I’m unable to post a video, but the photos shown are the rainbow setting and it fades from color to color. I’ve also got a twinkly strand of 400 lights and they were easily paired with the icicle lights.

These lights are beautiful. Best color RGB holiday lights. I liked them so much I used them all year. The app allows you to really customize the lights and becomes the light of the party. Issues I had were after 6 months, most strands either stopped syncing, half the strand stopped turning on completely, some wouldn’t change from a red white and blue strobe effect. I love Twinkly and their lights but they need to work on the quality

I bought three sets of the Twinkly Icicle LED lights and installed them today. Out of the box, everything went well. Setup and installation were easy. After I mapped the lights and started playing different effects, I noticed that two of the strings each had one LED that was bad. One LED was always bright white no matter what effect. The other LED cycled through all the colors and was bright. These two lights make it nearly impossible to use any effects where the LEDs turn on and off. I have emailed Twinkly support. I may update the review when I get a response.

The best lights! We love them and have had no problems! I love the icicles too! They are expensive but well worth the price!

The best LEDs on the market for hanging outside. The App is a perfect addition to the lights. The videos you can watch online don't really show a good example of how well the lights will display.

These lights were easy to put up and the app is wonderful for someone who isn't great with technology. Our house is festive and we can change the look without having to go outside in the cold.

This is a fabulous item! I love how bright they are and the fact that you can control the brightness, turn them on and off, colors, and loads of effects all with the touch of an app! The only downside to it (besides hanging them up) is the fact that pairing two of these together can be a bit confusing at first, but with trail and error, it's easy to figure out. There are a bunch of patterns and I wish they way a bit more patterns that allow more than 2 colors to be chosen, but it's not a downside, this would've been the edible golddust (rights belong to WWE) on top of the cherry that's already on top! If you can get past the price, these lights are definitely worth it and will make any holiday/ special occasion. Add the Twnkly Music USB accessories for even MORE possibilities like I did! (I bought this on my own with another set of these lights and the Twinkly music add on. I was not paid to leave this review, a very happy customer and plan to by 2 more of these icicle lights and the curtain one as well!)

I love these lights! We put them on our deck railing yesterday and I can’t stop playing with all the different display choices. I went with 4 stars instead of 5 only because it takes a lot of patience to unravel these lights. It also took a little trial and error to join the two strands we bought. But now that they’re set up we’ll enjoy them for a long time. I recommend these lights!

First off the concept of what these lights can do are awesome and that is why we purchased this product this is our 10th set. When they work they do just as described and are stunning however these are the cons that must be considered when making this costly purchase: 1. durability, lines come out cords get cut or pulled very easily they are way too fragile. Be prepared to splice and rejoin a lot. while annoying and frustrating the repair is pretty easy even if you have never done it 2. The mode of functionality... Twinkly APP ... terrible outdated inefficient application. This is how you make your vision come to life with designs, patterns, and connectivity. we spent more than half our time with connection issues Horrible reliability WITH MESH NETWORK 3. Strings 250 can only connect together with strings 250 and so on and so forth so before yu buy an extra 250 strand to finish off the 600 strand set you used first please know they will not be able to produce a cohesive theme because they cant connect to each other

Twinkly lights are really cool and have a fun set of patterns or you can set your own pattern. The lead wire they give you is far superior to any other icicle light I have seen. the app gives you the ability to join multiple stings and lights to integrate a pattern across all lights. while they are expensive they are really nice lights. Setup can be a little tough pairing up to wifi, but just be patient and follow the direction. You will be happy with the lights.

I got these lights two years ago along with the curtain lights. They take a few minutes to setup, but once done and you figure out the software, I really like them. They add some really cool effects to the house and the tree when you setup the right effect groups. Overall I know they are a bit pricey but they are worth it. Good support and a solid app that now supports homekit on all Gen 2 models.

Where have this lights been all my life! The light mapping and customization are amazing and well beyond its value compared to light at a higher price point, Premium look and features.

Love these. Can’t get enough. Easy for me to connect to home WiFi. Easy to map. Easy all around and looks great. Very bright. I usually keep intensity around 25% at night to not blind my neighbors.

I already had a Twinkly Gen 1 Christmas tree so I wanted to expand outside my house. I love the ability to make the lights do whatever I want. I also like the new Razer Chroma integration (when it works). My neighbors can now enjoy my games from the outside of my house. Overall It's a good product but it needs work. Some of the issues that I have: The pictures show 2 separate bundles of wires that led me to believe they hook together in some way. That is the not the case, it is one string that is bundled in 2 places. I was hoping that I could link multiple strands together this way. That is not to be. You would need the "Pro" Line to do linking like that. To link strands together, requires you to create software groups in the app. There is no physical linking. I bought 2 strands hoping to link them together physically. The issue now is that the 2 strands will be on my second story roof line. I must also account for where the controllers and power will be for the second strand as they wont be where I want them to be. I was unable to join them to wifi on my Samsung phone that has dual wifi bands. It mostly failed but actually connected when I used a single wifi band samsung tablet. Razer Chroma integration is not consistent. You have to download a program from twinkly to make it work. It doesn't seem to directly integrate into Razer Synapse. I looked all over in Synapse for the integration and it wasn't there. I had to go find the program that was installed, run that, login to Twinkly and then it worked but was still not integrated into Synapse. It did show the Twinkly app being present but it did not offer any config options other than to turn it off. Also as an FYI, it only supports Gen2 Twinkly. The connector is not a Razer product. These issues are probably going to be the same on the non-Pro Twinkly line.

I have bought many Twinkly lights over the last 3 years. Adding a little at a time. I don’t leave them up year round but mainly during Halloween and Xmas. I strung my 6ft wreath with a set of 600. Made a 10 ft tree out of PVC and chicken wire strung with 600. Also a 5ft and a 7ft 300 lights each. Every year I get someone stopping at the house asking if they can buy them. The lights are bright and the app gets better every year!
