Love this boom! Sound is great, gets very loud, has great range, works well and maintains a charge for a long time. It really connects to my phone as soon as i turn it on. Definitely a great purchase. 10/10 highly recommend.

amazing sound.. perfect for parties, travel & at home. I purchased 4 of these one plugged in and paired to my Amazon show 15, 2nd one in shower & last 2 for travel, my nebula capsule 3 & my vinyl record player… BOOMING BASS, gets extremely loud, i love it!

This speaker has impressive volume and a very satisfying 360 degree projection of sound. Design is great for portability and outdoor use. While it may not have as nuanced sound as similar size Bose bluetooth speakers, it feels more practical and rugged for bringing it out and about to any event.

I like the way you can sync both and hear music from both with the app. It sounds good and it sounds better especially when you buy it on sale. If you want more quality on music you should upgrade to the bigger one for more bass. It’s really loud indoors and the two of them are perfect for the beach.

First and foremost, I love this speaker! Logitech's new line of Ultimate Ears doesn't disappoint. I've tried several bluetooth speakers that are waterproof, but this one is only the second one I've found that combines waterproofing design with awesome, fully realized sound. Right out of the box, the BOOM 3 is about the same size as my Echo Tap - maybe slightly bigger. Like the Echo Tap, the BOOM 3 can be charged by the supplied micro-USB cable or, as an extra purchase, Logitech's charging puck base. I held off on buying the charging base until I was sure that this speaker would be a keeper, but now it looks like it'll have to get added to my shopping list. In terms of design, there's a micro-USB charging port on the back, and the top has 2 buttons: The power button and the magic button. Admittedly, I thought the magic button was more of a gimmick than feature, but I've come to love using it. A quick press pauses and plays, a double-tap skips to the next song in your queue, and a long hold will move to the next playlist. I'll get to that last part below in the companion app part. The setup was quick and painless - and while I usually complain about having to download companion apps (because they tend to be bloatware), the Logitech BOOM app has something that I sorely missed in other speakers: a customizable equalizer! Part of the setup process included adding up to 4 playlists to the BOOM's quick play feature. Using the magic button, you can long-press and skip from playlist to playlist. Just to be clear - this isn't storing music on the speaker itself, there's not a hard drive or anything. It's playing the music from your paired phone. In terms of battery, I've used this thing for several days at an hour or two at a time and haven't worn it down. I decided to give this thing a test and use it in the shower and it blew me away! Using the equalizer option for "enclosed space", I can jam out in the shower to my kind of music without making the entire house listen in as well. Make no mistake - this thing easily kicks out the noise! You crank it up high enough and it'll get plenty loud. The only reason I rated this item as 4 stars was due to the lack of an Aux input - not a huge deal breaker, but would've certainly made this thing a home run in my book. The BOOM is priced around $150 - which is in line with more full-feature devices, like the ones from Sony. It's definitely not the cheapest speaker out there, but I've come to expect a certain level of quality from Logitech and the BOOM 3 is another solid product.

This is the first rugged water resistant speaker i've ever actually had the guts to fully submerge in water. The box doesn't state how deep you can take it, but it does say that it can be submerged for up to 30 minutes. I let it take a plunge in about 3 feet of water and it floats! The sound is affected by the water obviously, it becomes muddy and the volume lowers when in water but most importantly it survived the dive and works fine after getting soaked. I wouldn't recommend charging it until it completely dries out just to be safe. The audio quality of the speaker is about as good as it gets for something small and portable. I really am amazed at how loud it gets and is water proof. It is kind of cool to watch the water literally shoot out of the speaker grill lol. Out of the box, I find that it doesn't have deep bass but if you connect it to the UE app on your phone or tablet, you can use different presets to get more bass and tweak the mids and treble. The app also helps you pair the speaker with other UE speakers and even lets your friends control the music with it. The app does have some pretty cool features. With some tweaking the speaker sounds pretty good even at high volumes. My only complaint with the speaker is that there seems to be a "dead zone" on the speaker. The whole can isn't one large speaker, It does seem to have a "360" sound but id say that only about 75-80% of the whole can projects audio. the bottom portion of the speaker does not produce sound. I assume its because the speaker is meant to be stood upright so in most situations you will not notice it. I only noticed it because i picked it up to put it on a stand that was above shoulder height. All in All, this is one of my favorite speakers I've used and I can recommend this to someone who likes to have a speaker while doing anything outdoors. Whether it be on your bike, while camping, swimming, or chilling at the beach. It is super rugged and I think will be able to tag along with you at just about any outdoor activity

This speaker may be small but you wouldn't be able to tell simply by listening to it. Its very loud for its size. My daughter is listening to it in the bathroom now while bathing and I can hear everything perfectly with the door open 3 rooms away. The bass isn't the best, but I didn't really expect it to be based on size. The sound quality is surprisingly crisp and clear, even when turned to max volume. It connected to my phone in a flash and the battery life seems to be decent, haven't tested the full 15 hour claim though so I cannot confirm that. Its waterproof also, which is perfect for taking to the beach or pool. I'd say its definitely worth the price!

Admittedly I did not think much of this upon receipt, picture attached shows size and all included in box. It was easy to pair to bluetooth phone (iPhone) and instantly start streaming. The sound on this is where it stands out. The volume buttons on the front are obvious to control, and at full volume I can hear whatever is streaming clearly through out an entire house. The only con is the lack of a wall charger, but any wall charger you already have should work. I was able to use a basic iphone wall charger to fully charge the speaker within a couple hours. There is a free app that can be downloaded for better control and features. I have used it a couple times, but prefer the tactile controls on the speaker. Upon power up/down it makes sounds and once paired to a device there is another sound. The top button can play/pause/skip music, or cycle through playlists you already have.

This is our ninth UEBoom. Our first 3 are still working after 8 years (at 60% charge). And our next 3 are doing well at 5 years (80% charge). Our last 3 are all Boom 3. All mix well an dx connect with the others to make a beautiful surround sound at a very low volume. We use them throughout the house but especially outside around our fire pit.

Good sound, stays decently balanced at max volume so there’s no fatigue listing to it for extended sessions. It’s best at maybe 80-85% volume when you need to go loud but not necessarily max. Fits in cup holders, which is nice. Can pair with, or without, the app which is also nice. I might buy a second one when there’s another sale. Loses points for still charging micro-usb.

This speaker is amazing the sound quality is great the amount of volume it has is incredible I can put it in my living room and I’m able to hear it all the way to my bedroom. The only minor issue I would say bothers me a bit is the battery life for example I leave it charging then I go to use it and it dies but it rare when that does happen.

Seems well built, very solid and not flimsy. Pairs up easily enough. Volume can get pretty loud if needed and the sound quality is nice. Good bass, good range. I paired mine up with my amazon flex so whenever i take a shower, i just "Alexa, link with speaker. Alexa open Pandora" and I got my shower tunes! Love it. Only real down side, is i wish they included the charging base. That would be so much easier to pop it on a base that was always plugged in, then to have ANOTHER charge cable to look for when needed LOL , but other then that, great product.

This speaker lasts a long time. It has a great sound and is loud enough by itself. Love that it is shockproof and water resistant. This speaker holds a good charge too. Charged it when I bought it and used it about 2 weeks later and it still lasted all afternoon. Easy to use app. Plan to purchase more when they go on sale again.

The speaker sounds great and has a good volume range. I do wish the charge lasted longer for how long you have to have it on the charger for. Mine tends to die around 5 hours now even on full charge.

Upgraded from a smaller klipsch groove. Great sound overall. Bass sounds fine and can get loud.

Small portable and travel friendly. This speaker has seen the Florida weather up to the Smokey Mountains and still works like the day we bought it. Great sound, user friendly and loud! Great speaker for the price.

Love the Volume and quality on it. It has a good bass for the size. I'll say is the size of the Venti cup from startbucks. One night I forgot my Boom3 outside and the next morning was on a mall puddle, like sitting on water... I was surprise everything was working fine after. But even tho, I feel the price is too high for the product.

Middle of the road speaker. Same great properties as smaller ones, and almost as great as the larger versions. Besides the obvious difference in volume, the Boom is a small step down in terms of Bass delivery, but nothing short of great. Highly recommended
