    Defective?

I don't know if this product *generally* has a defect or if it's specific to the grey one. I exchanged my first one because the sound cuts for several seconds (every time I've used it). The second one is doing it also. However, the sound is great and I like the outdoor feature to take the bass out (if you have neighbors, roommates, etc this can come in handy). I'm just upset about the sound disappearing.

This is the device for she. She doesn't need the power and bass. She just wants to listen on the beach or while reading a book. She likes the simple life. I like the price. She can take it anywhere.

Bought this with intention for using with an infant as a sleeping aid on-the-go. The startup, and bluetooth noises are very loud and were unsuitable for my use case. Solid speaker otherwise.

This is my second Wonderboom speaker. The last one needed replacement charge cords twice. This new one doesn't hold a charge as long as the last Wonderboom did. Wish that wasn't the case.

I definitely like this item but Not too sure about the battery, it is not lasting enough to spend the evening with music. Could it be a defective issue?

Decent speaker. Gets loud for its size, but average audio quality. Just for comparison you can get a minirig 3 for just a little more money with top notch sound quality and battery life.

Got an great pitch from one member of the staff, I should have stuck to the brand I was going for. It's not great, I didn't test the waterproof quality but as far as the sound is concerned, I would say nope.

I bought two of these speakers initially to use at my reunion which is being held outdoors under a tent. My intention was that I would keep them and use them for other outdoor activities since I have a place at the beach. They sounded pretty good inside, but outside the sound quality just wasn’t that great.

Not a bad option for the price. However, the volume controls and difficult to use especially if you have small hands or any issue that effects your grip strength.

I had up until fairly recently an early example of a UE miniboom portable speaker, and that thing lasted for over a decade. So I have few concerns about the potential longevity of this product with that history in mind. These have come quite a long ways in that 10+ years, but surprisingly in a few ways not so much. First off what people generally buy these for: sound. It sounds pretty good, but is sorely lacking in bass compared to both its ancestor and other contemporaries I have tried. Other than the bass however it is nice and clean, no distortion problems and everything is very clear. It produces a lot for its size as well. As is practically obligatory for small bluetooth speakers these days, it can be paired with another like it for stereo sound although I have not tried that feature as I only have the one. Right out of the box it had a sticker on the top of it that indicated what the 3 buttons do but beyond my comprehension the device itself does not have any clear markings for what those buttons are. So if you don’t know already, good luck figuring it out which is frustrating. The top button is for Bluetooth, the middle one is play/pause, and the bottom one is power but again no way to know it from the device itself. As far as power goes it will last a good long time, I have yet to even charge it since I got it. And that’s another thing I find crazy, is that it charged with micro usb instead of usb-c. The decade old speaker used micro usb as well and here we are still going old school. So it sounds pretty good, but rocks an old charging solution and has no markings on the buttons. So I don’t know if I can say it’s the greatest but definitely not bad. Maybe wait for a sale on it.
