Fantastic! We used this driving from California to the Carolinas and back and this radar detector was awesome. It picked up just about every police car unless they were not using their guns. We also used waze just to be aware of all conditions. I estimate this unit saved us about 5 tickets... I did find the Velcro is fine but its adhesive could not take all the road vibrations... I supported the unit with my sunglass case wedged underneath. We Highly recommend this radar detector.

I’m very pleased with how far it will pick up a trooper that’s parked or driving towards me! I wanna say it picked up one trooper 2 miles away because it was going off for a good minute and Im doing 72 and the trooper is doing probably 75 in a 70. It’s saved me at least 1 ticket so it’s paid for itself already!

Amazing range, multiple settings to customize including display color, display options, bands, sensitivity, etc. Not too many false alarms once you manually program gps automutes along your normal routes.

It has one of the best ranges on the market. It has all the bells and whistles that you need with GPS and you mute the signals in your area that you want it to remember. I rarely ever get a false positive from other people’s car proximity sensors. Can’t recommend more. Has easily paid for itself. Blend mount and mirror tap for power sold separately but worth it.

Very useful, has saved me from many speeding tickets by now. Very easy to set up and it fits very well in my car.

I was expecting this thing to be ok at what it does but I gotta say it does the job and it does it well. It saved me once and I already feel it’s paid for itself. The display is small but that’s good because it’s not in your face. It’s an overall wonderful item and if it saves you once, it’s paid for itself. That’s one less ticket on your license so you save money on insurance in the long run.

Even cop radar from behind your vehicle while driving. 10/10, 5 Stars, I recommend to family, friends, even strangers. A necessity to have in your vehicle at all times, especially if you want to be alerted of the locations of speed traps!!! Also comes with a durable, sleek, storage case.

This thing is awesome. The range on it is great as it alerts you in plenty of time. After using it for a couple months now i have zero complaints. It works great and has saved me so much time on long drives.

I love this radar, it works amazing. Best radar I have ever used and very easy to use. There is mute memory on it so if you consistently mute it from going off at certain places it will remember. It also looks good in the car. I’ve had it for a year now and I have never had any problems with using it. You can easily adjust the volume and it’s one of my favorite purchases. Definitely recommend if you’re looking into radars and worth the price rather than cheaping out on other options.

I was debating on the r3 or r8. The r8 and 7 are they only ones with arrows to let you know where the signal is coming from. This is my first radar detector and so far im pretty impressed. It’s already saved me a few times from passing a cop a little fast. Will definitely buy a r8 for the arows in the future and this one will go in my other car its that good. The range is amazing honestly and gave me fair time to slow down or be on the lookout. Definitely pull the triger on this one ladies and gents or the r8, worth every penny!

I was looking for something with good range and price. I had just bought a new car and didn't want to transfer my old radar detector since it was 10 years old but still reliable. I've had this Uniden model for about a month and seems to work great. I've gotten Ka alerts from about 3/4 of a mile away. I liked about this one that didn't require an app subscription for additional alerts. Also could be updated on the computer for any red light cameras

It is really good radar detector. One recommendation - shut down X-band. Maybe K-band isn't usable too. Ka-band only you need. Sometimes detection reaches 2 miles before you will see the cops. Laser-band hasn't fals reactions, but if you see laser alerts you have to push the brake immediately.

Best radar I’ve ever owned. On coming radar is on avg 1-2 miles away, side radar is 4 city blocks to a mile. I don’t know what the rear is.

Works flawlessly. I drive around 1200 miles a month just highway. It’s saved me more times then I can count. I’m able to swap between vehicles with the 2 mounting brackets included with the product. I would 110% recommend this product.

So far so good. This can detect from quite a ways away. I've used it in the city and on the highway. I'm impressed so far. I need to read up on more stuff to change a setting back to mph and not distance. I'll update when I've had it for longer

Great radar detector picks up signals at least a mile or 2 out works great and I live in an area with speed cameras and the gps picks them all up

Great purchase. It has a very long range. Best feature is being able to turn off K Band and X Band. Not annoying at all!

Best Radar detector for your buck for this year and till later, but if you got spare money definetly get the Uniden R7 but overall R3 still peforms good and its amazing helpful.

Works phenomenally best radar for the price and even better than a lot of the more expensive ones.
