    Wonderful Phone!!

This is a wonderful phone for my 105 year old mom who lives in an assisted living facility and is hard of hearing and has macular degeneration and cannot see anything immediately in front of her. I programmed all the eight top keys with my phone number, and I put raised stickers of flowers on those keys so that she could feel the difference between those keys and the keys with the numbers on them. So all she has to do is press any of those raised keys by feeling for them, and the phone automatically calls me. If she doesn’t pick up the handset before pressing those one of those keys, the phone automatically goes to speaker phone. It is very loud. She does have to pick up the handset and put it down again in order to hang up the phone. The accompanying cordless phone has a display which is needed to program those 8 keys at the top of the corded phone. This phone is a godsend for my mom and me. We can talk to each other by phone again!

I purchased this phone for my mother who is 89, hard of hearing and has loss of eyesight. It did take me a while to program. I had to watch a you tube video as instructions weren’t that great. That’s the reason for 4 stars. Buttons are nice and big, and volume can be set very high. I think she will have trouble playing back answering machine until she memorizes those buttons as they are small. I wish cards were included to wright names on and place where pictures would go. I used hot pink sticky notes. I placed the handset by her chair and purchased an additional handset and placed by her bed.

Purchased as a gift for elderly relative. The positive is that the volume can be turned up louder than most phones and that it works with a hearing aid. The only negative is that the phone can be too complicated for some elderly people. I think a simple design would be better for many seniors. I think too many options can complicate the phone. Also this product has one corded phone and one cordless phone. The cordless does not have the memory buttons with pictures just the m1, m2, m3 m4 with no place to label. (picture option for pre-programming numbers for speed dial)

Great landline phone. It has the loud volume I needed for a family member who is hard of hearing. Love the auto dial you can put in for the most frequently used numbers. The flashing light when it rings helps a person to see it even if they can’t hear it ringing. Great phone.

After reading the other reviews I knew I was not getting the phone that was pictured. I did receive a base phone and a separate cordless phone. The phone does the big buttons and ability to place pics but it is very small. For this phone geared towards elderly, dementia, etc it is very difficult to maneuver. The menu is on the portable phone. To clear caller log or to change a setting you have to scroll down, select, then choose etc. If the person is tech savvy then its not a problem. Its very complicated for something that should be simpler. The sound is good and they can hear much clearer.

Got for my mom who has Alzheimer’s and forgets how to use the phone. I had to purchase this phone which I was unaware there are actually 2 phones that came together and I purchased the add on phone for the picture dialing which is easiest for mom. I really don’t like having 3 phones hooked when I only need the one but it works for her so far. The phone talks when dishing or getting a call but the voice is VERY loud which is annoying and I have yet to figure out how to adjust it. The ringer is easy to adjust but no setting for the talk back mode. Other than that it’s working great and would recommend to others!

I like that the phone is amplified but the programming of the phone is somewhat confusing. It is difficult for older people who don't have experience with the new tech. But the phone is worth the amplified sound alone.

Over the years both my spouse and myself were having increasing difficulty hearing or understanding our callers . This phone has been of much help to us with those issue while still allowing us to also have the most modern conveniences at our finger tips. It is versatile in that it allows us to make adjustments to the audio in accordance with our caller's voices. It is well priced, too making it a good buy!

Super handy to have around with kids or elderly loved ones. You can add pictures to the buttons and set up a speed dial, with visuals. Just what I needed. The buttons are a good size too.

We made this purchase for the amplified hearing and it works very well in this regard. What was not clear was that the purchase came with a base unit as well as the portable unit. We bought an additional portable unit and may not have needed it. My only criticism is that the description of the product should be more accurate.

This phone was miles ahead of my grandma’s older phone. She was super happy with the handset and not having to get up to answer the phone. She probably won’t use most of the fancy features but I was amazed at what a landline phone can do these days. The volume is deafening for us younger folk but the customization was awesome. Highly recommend for your elderly love ones

Love the features available to this unit. In this time of phone scams, unknown numbers, robo calls; this is a very useful tool to bypass those threats, especially for seniors. The announcement feature of caller i.d. and phone book names is very helpful on the base and the separate portable unit.
