There is no light on the top screen where you view the incoming tel# etc. The bottom where the buttons are does light up. So I’m not sure if I’m going to keep this phone. Can’t find any info in the accompanying material that discussed this issue.

It cuts out so much that I get every other word of the person talking. People on the other end say it sounds like I'm talking in a tunnel when on speaker. It's so bad I have to go out and find a different phone.

I just bought the same kind for my mom and it is making a weird trilling noise that won't stop. I exchanged the phone and the second phone did the same thing. I returned it and ordered a different brand.

I am not sure if it is my provider or it is this phone, but many days this phone rings and picking it up you don't hear anything for like 2-5 seconds. Again, I am not sure if it is very bad service, which I doubt, but possible, or if this is the worst phone I have ever bought.

Silly me for not reviewing the features more closely so that's on me. It does NOT have a digital answering system; you have to go through your phone company for it. It's very difficult to record an outgoing message. Ring tones are irritating. Cannot choose how many rings before answering service picks up. I'm kicking myself for not keeping the box and receipt. Oh, well. Live and learn.
