I live 1.6 miles away from my closest AT&T tower. I’m a nurse, not IT, or antenna man, or an expert. But I do have basic knowledge in computers. Before the signal booster my phone reception was -115 to -100 if I step by the window. And dead signal in some places. My whole neighborhood it’s a hole. After look online my provider tower I proceed to walk and see the tower and then pin it in my phone GPS. Then I went home and put the signal booster antena in a mop stick and like spider man I climb into to my house roof scared of death. I assembly the booster as instructed. And I put the antena pointing to the tower 1.6 miles from home. With google maps I was able to look where I am pointing. Once on, I proceed to turn on the booster. The signal is most of the time between -50 to -70 and I have notable improvement in my internet speed test. I have 2 floors house, 3 bedrooms, so it works, just take your time and put the booster antenna as high as possible

This unit is on the higher end price wise, but you get what you pay for. I have been using a $150 booster for about a year in my home office. My office is inside a metal shop building and is about 450 sq. feet. Cell signal is weak outside the building generally 1-2 bars LTE at the most, at at the worst the "no signal" icon is on. The last cell booster would consistently give me 2-3 bars, plenty to make a call. However, it only lasted 12 months before it quit working. I have installed this unit and am happy to say I have 5 bars of LTE inside my home office. I hope this unit will last longer than 12 months considering the price. Performance so far has been great! I installed the outdoor antenna on top of a 2 foot tall pipe at the peak of my shop, pointing towards the nearest cell tower which is approx. 6.5 miles as the crow flies. Install time was about 1.5 hours.

Definitely Works but not the easiest install

It definitely works. It has to be installed correctly. The installation instructions were marginal at best. It boosted my cell signal from -118 dBm to between -100 & -85 dBm. I went from not being able to make or take calls to being able to use my phone in my house. I don't think it's a miracle, but it's a definite improvement. I'll recommend it but you really have to mount the outside antenna on the roof, on a pole, pipe, or vent, and dial in the signal by having someone on roof rotate position while you're checking signal, until you find the optimum position.

I purchased the Boost Home MultiRoo cell booster for my home because they changed the tower signal and I was unable to use my phone. I went from 120 to 89 signal strength. I am extremely pleased with this product.

Works well in the area of the indoor antenna, only issue is I have a 2700 SF home, and does not boost across all rooms well. That said, I went from 2 bars to 4 bars right away in the main living room, office and kitchen closest to antenna. Happy about that!

This thing really works if you at least have a signal outside. It is a bit of work finding the cell tower so you can point the directional antenna. The app told me to point it in the wrong direction. I have Verizon in the Smoky Mountains with zero signal inside the house. Had to use WiFi calling before I installed this. Not super fast speeds but we do get 4g LTE around 3mb down and 1mb up. Compared to zero without this booster, it’s worth the money.

Worked very well. Before installing cell signal was one bar by a picture window. Was unable to do any internet with phone. After installation was able to stream videos. Make sure you download an app that lets you find the cell tower to point the exterior antenna. Very crucial for a successful install.

I live down a hill from the closest cell tower, so cell reception was spotty at best with absolutely no 5g. Now I get at least 2 bars of 5g anywhere in my house and usually 3-4 bars. All of our cell phones work so much better. And it doesn't matter how many devices are running. Just follow the directions.

Better call quality, no dropped calls, faster data

I live in ruralish suburbs and cell phone reception where I am can be pretty spotty. Often we have to deal with dropped calls and garbled audio during calls made from inside the house. The setup process for this signal booster is straightforward, though somewhat involved. However, the video tutorials from weBoost guided us through each of the steps from determining where the signal was the weakest in our home, to where it was strongest outside our home, and how to locate the nearest cell tower so we could point the antenna in the right direction. I wasn’t relishing the idea of going up on the roof to mount the outside antenna, but thankfully, after watching the setup videos, we learned that I could install the “outside” antenna in the attic, as long as it was oriented towards the closest cell tower that provided our network’s service (we use Verizon, but it's compatible will all GSM or CDMA networks). This also helped us avoid drilling holes in the exterior wall to run the cable inside, and we were able to skip using the window entry jumper cable. Even with the outside antenna in the attic, it was still able to receive a strong enough signal from the tower and transmit it to the booster. We set the inside antenna on the first floor in the living room where we felt we would be making the most calls, therefore needed the most improvement in signal quality. I like that the inside antenna has a modern looking fabric cover to blend in with other décor. It looks just like a Bluetooth speaker sitting on the table, though it can be wall mounted or even hidden behind furniture. The booster unit itself, however, is quite industrial looking and has three wires hanging off of it so this is a better candidate for placing behind a couch or in a closet. It also has an indicator LED on it, so you may want to keep it somewhere where you can check on the status every once in a while. It runs pretty hot to the touch too, so wherever it goes, you have to make sure it has good ventilation. This signal booster has improved the cell reception for us across three rooms on our first level according to the signal test results on my Galaxy Note 9. Before setting the booster up, I had pretty consistent signal readings of -115 to -107 dBm, which is fairly low (-120 dBm is pretty much unusable signal). After installing and turning the signal booster on, I’ve been seeing signal readings of -90 up to -65 dBm (-40 dBm would be "perfect" signal). In practical terms, that means I no longer get dropped calls from the rooms where the signal is boosted and since the signal picked up is 4G/LTE, data speeds are faster too, which is really helpful if our WiFi goes down. The booster is also able to pickup 3G network signals, if for some reason the 4G signal isn’t strong enough. So at least call quality can be maintained even if data isn’t available, though it’s unlikely we’ll experience that scenario in our area. The only thing to keep in mind is that the inside antenna’s signal is directional and limited in range, so it needs to face into a room to get the most signal out of it, and the signal only travels so far and drops off the farther you move away from the antenna, so we don’t see any of the signal improvement on the 2nd and 3rd floors of our home. Overall, the device was pretty simple to set up, improved call quality and data speeds across three rooms (living room, dining room, kitchen with open floor plan), and gave us consistent and reliable call coverage where we needed it the most.

Could be better, but worked really well

We got the booster because we live in a rural area and since getting a new smart phone, the reception on it has been terrible with dropped calls and poor data connection. The packaging and instructions for the booster are terrific - some of the best I've seen. All the components were extremely well labeled and the instructions clear and concise. Even the cable bags had illustrated labels telling us exactly how to connect the inside antenna to the booster to the outside antenna. What did not make sense however, was that it instructed you to use the 30' cable between the inside antenna and the booster, which are in the same room, and only gives you a 15' cable from the window connector to the outside antenna. This might be okay IF the instructions did not say "the outside antenna must be at least 50 feet horizontal or 20 feet vertical from the inside antenna". There is not enough cable to get it mounted in the ideal position on top of the roof with only the 15' section out the window. We ended up putting the outside antenna on a pole until we can get a longer coax cable to mount to our roof. Even though it is not in the best position, we are still very pleased at how well it works. Prior to installation, I would have one bar of strength on my phone and the data sometimes dropped to 3G. Since the installation, the strength is usually at 3 bars, occasionally goes to 4 and the data is at 4G-LTE most of the time. The signal also seems to be boosted in more than just my office where we installed it. Finding the optimal position by experimenting with various positions and tweaking the antenna takes a lot of time and definitely requires two people. But we are pleased with the results and anticipate they will only get better as we find the best place to mount the outside antenna.

    Good for Rural Areas

I live in a semi-rural area. I say “semi-rural” because, while I am technically in the country, there is a housing boom in my area, so it feels more like a suburb. We moved here three years ago from an actual suburb of a small city. Cellular reception was more reliable there, as were the utilities. During our first year here, we had a power outage for three days due to weather. We relied on our cell service for contact with the outside world. A few times, cell coverage was spotty. We usually don’t get more than two or three bars on a good day, so it didn’t take much to go from good to poor service. When that’s your last way of communicating, it becomes an issue. We also have issues with coverage throughout the house. The house has three levels. The upstairs has better service, while in the kitchen it’s poor. We do have wireless calling capability but sometimes that isn’t great in the house, either. So, when I saw the weboost Home Cellular Signal Booster, I thought this would be a great item to have. Unfortunately, the installation was a bit more complicated than we expected. I originally thought this would be a wireless booster, but it does require running a coaxial cable from the outside antenna to the inside antenna. We do not have the tools nor the comfort level of running cable through the siding and through the basement. The kit does come with a flat piece of wire that is a connector between the coax from the outside to the inside cable. This allows installation through a door or a window. We decided to run the cable through our sliding door for now. We installed the outdoor antenna to an existing pole that held our old satellite dish (a clamp for this type of install is included). We used the OpenSignal app to locate our nearest tower and pointed the antenna in that direction. We did have an issue, though, as the way we were running the cable ended up requiring us to get a male-to-male connector in order the finish the install. Otherwise, the kit is complete with everything you need to set up the unit. We installed the unit in our kitchen, as the second floor was where we had the most issues. Once connected and plugged in, the booster turned green. We went from two bars to 4 bars instantly. We did not have to move the outside antenna at all. The range was -100, which technically was only in the “good” range according to the instructions, but it was good for us. I would recommend this unit for those who need a boost in service, especially in more remote areas. Just be aware that it will take some time to install and some technical know-how.

This signal booster was worth every penny for us. We live in the Colorado mountains at 9,000 feet and our cell signal was borderline “dead zone”. We decided to pull the trigger on this booster and went from -129 dbm -87 dbm, which is a massive improvement. Cellphone signal works all over the house, we don’t have to stand at a certain in the kitchen to make a phone call anymore. Installation was very easy, read the simple instructions and take your time. Some might find the equipment unappealing, but you’re able to hide most of it behind furniture.

I had purchased something like this years a go and it did not work. I wanted to purchase one from Best Buy because I know if it did not work I could take it back. I live way out in the country borderline between Towers , in my house I get zero to 1 bar. Which is very difficult to communicate. so I follow the instructions and watch the video, and very carefully installed the product. And now I have 2 to 4 bars at all time. It was a little pricey but it's going to be well worth it.

This was really easy to install. We live in a very rural area and our cell phone signal is pretty poor at best. With this we get much better service in our house. The room the inside antenna is in is the best room and the two adjoining rooms are good. Our service is just to poor to get it in the rest of the house but we were expecting that when we were researching this product. It was definitely worth the money as we work from home sometimes and needed the extra boost for our cell phone. I would purchase this again.

The weBoost - Home MultiRoom Cell Phone Signal Booster provides very good signal boost. Before the booster we only had 1 bar maybe 2 bars of signal. With the weBoost - Home MultiRoom Cell Phone Signal Booster we now have 3-4 bars of signal when near the booster. It will not provide 3-4 bars throughout our 2,000 square foot house. This is noted on the box. With 1-2 bars signal without the booster the maximum coverage area is 1,000 square foot. Overall I am pleased with the weBoost - Home MultiRoom Cell Phone Signal Booster and would purchase again.

This thing works. Was fairly easy to install. Just pointed the antenna in the direction of our cell tower and my bars went from 1 to 4. We always had issues with dropping calls and slow data. But now with 4 bars of signal everything works great. My only complaint is the inside antenna does not cover my entire house like I thought it would. If I'm in the same room as the antenna, then it works as it should. But walking into other rooms the signal goes down quick.
