Customers are saying

Many users reported a significant improvement in their signal strength, with some even gaining an additional one to two bars. The simple setup process was also widely praised, with customers highlighting the convenience of installing the booster themselves. However, some users expressed concerns about the limited coverage area, relatively high price, and range that was smaller than advertised.

Product works good, but was expecting more range. I read the specs, and knew 1500 sq ft. Was not realistically achievable, but 200 to 500 sq ft would be. I would say the signal is only "good", meaning able to download or upload on my phone, in about a 150, to maybe 200 sq ft area. Setup was easy, instructions were clear. Product is well made. If I were to purchase all over though, I would have upgraded to the WeBoost MultiRoom.

Made a good improvement but the inside range is smaller than advertised on SF. Need to stay close to the inside antenna for best results but it does work.

We couldn't get service inside of our house. With the booster, we can now talk on our phones and get data inside. The description said the range was 1 - 2 rooms, or up to 1200 square feet. It does work best in only 1 - 2 rooms. The reception declines on the other side of our house.

We went from less than 1 bar inside to 4 bars. Placed unit in living room and as long as you call and receive from there it works good. Less when you go into another room.

I have remote property that I can sometimes pickup one bar of Verizon and nothing from other carriers. After installing I can send and receive calls and SMS. My only issue is it seems I have to be within a couple feet of the indoor antenna making common area placement a must.

I have to put my AT&T Velocity right next to the indoor antenna for reception and need to stand close to the antenna with cell phone in order to get enough bars for service. Indoor antenna does not reach into the next room.

Thank you for using our booster! It looks like you are using the Home 4G booster. Based on your situation it sounds like the booster is working just not for the range of rooms you would like. The Home 4G is mostly going to work to boost a smaller area. Also, some of the booster range is going to be based on the strength of the outside signal you want to bring inside. For instance, the stronger the outside signal then, the strong potential inside signal. Lastly, while the Home 4G is a great booster, with a great outside signal and in an open interior, the booster will work for up to 1500 sq ft. We do offer another booster, the Connect 4G and this booster can boost up to 5,000 sq ft. The Connect 4G may be a better option if you are not experiencing the boosting range you desire. weboost

Skeptical of anything like this. We had very poor cell service in our home. We live in a small town in Wyoming and the tower is miles away. We were warned when we bought the property that service is not good. They were right. Got fed up and got this unit. Put an app on the phone and it found the best cell signal direction, easy to follow install and now 4G! No kidding! You have to be close to the inside antenna so don't think it covers everywhere.

We have metal roof and it helps some with boost. I have to be close to boost to work good. One room away is all it goes. Disappointing but works in limited area.

Increased signal from -112 to -76

We originally mounted this device in a window that faced the nearest tower. Before setting this booster up, we were barely able to make calls and the call quality was not good, often dropping calls. When we mounted the booster in the window we realized a gain of about 20 db. The signal strength varied from -90 to -106. We decided to mount the antenna on the roof facing the closest AT&T tower and were able to get a signal as good as -76 db. It is crucial to put your phone into "field test mode" so you know exactly what your signal strength is and I highly recommend using an app called "OpenSignal" to determine where the closest tower is in your area. This thing isn't a miracle worker and will do what it says as long as you put a little bit of effort into setting it up correctly. I give this item 4 stars because for $400 I expect the internal antenna to have a better range.
