Larger than expected. I love the feature that it beeps once the microwaves time has stopped. We love this microwave!

Nice looking microwave but mine came damaged on the frontside corner. You can see dent in the pictures. Would not have minded so much if the dent wasn't in the front. No noticeable damage from the manufacturers box it shipped in. Will be returning/exchanging.

Great microwave, lots of space inside for large plates and awesome cook mode options. As for customer service, our guy had the item ready to pick-up and we were in and out in a minute. Thank you! 10/10 recommend.

This microwave looks better in the ad photos than in reality. It's small and frail. At it's price point, buyer beware. The clock is too bright. This unit skids on the countertop. There's no use for the light being on while it's cooking because the glass gets completely steamed up. But not as steamed as I am that this microwave no longer works after 25 days of ownership. It worked fine this morning (10/17/22), However, I did hear a pop. Now it will not boil a cup of water.

This was a replacement to my 2 year old Samsung that just stopped working. Not as nice as my previous one but it works fine. The ringer could be louder.

Whirlpool is my preferred brand for everything. I purchased this microwave at twice the price of any other brand. I could have bought a cheaper one but I stuck with Whirlpool. To my surprise this unit arrived with defects and I think it's in manufacturing cause the shipping box was in perfect shape. There is a funny corner. Look at the pictures. Will try to replace if they have a better made microwave if not I'll return it. After all it's costs more so I expect better quality.

Works as it should! The ring sound is somewhat musical which makes us laugh but you can mute if you don’t like. I am disappointed that the sides are not the same stainless steel (or black) as the front. Instead it is a gray shimmer. I wouldn’t mind if it matched our whirlpool fridge but it doesn’t. Not sure why they chose to have two different grays in one brand. Handle could be better. Overall though, very happy to have a big microwave that fits in a small apartment space! Flattering look

We purchased this Whirlpool 900W Microwave last month. The reason I am giving this product a five-star introductory review is because some of the negative reviews which I carefully researched here were not accurate. One person said it slides all over the place on the counter. But by placing a small rubber foot pad under the front legs eliminated that issue completely. Whirlpool should consider giving those to you. But easily resolved. Another complaint was that you could not set the cooking time yourself, that there was only preset cooking times. That was completely inaccurate. You can set the cooking time within 15 seconds as with any microwave. It has preset cooking times. But you can set the cooking time to whatever you want, just as you can set the power level. Someone else complained about the ringer or alarm to alert you when the heating is done. That person needs a therapist. There is nothing noticeably different about the alarm sounds. Several of the negative reviews had to do with the condition of the unit upon opening the box. But if is is damaged when you open it, then take it right back. This is a 900 Watt microwave which is better than compact microwaves so cooking times are reduced over the smallest oven's cooking times. While this is a midsize microwave and takes up less counter space than a full size microwave, considerably less. And the handle on the door is a couple of those inches of the depth. Longevity, well we will have to wait and see. They tell you to keep it clean that this prolongs the life and Whirlpool's warranty is comparable to the others. This is a well designed appliance for a very reasonable price. They list this as silver as the unit is painted silver while the door is stainless steel and black accents. Buy with confidence.

This compact and affordable microwave has plenty of juice and is easy to clean. My only real criticism is it is somewhat difficult to program- you have to use the up and down functions rather than just punching in a time numerically. Next time, I'd look at the features more closely, but for what's there it does a good job, and the price wasn't too dear.

As soon as I start to take the Styrofoam off of the corners I see big dent in one of the corners.

I'm not super impressed with this microwave. My husband bought it without researching it. It's a good size for a small family. The clock has to be adjusted every couple weeks, it runs slow. Makes me wonder how the timer can be accurate if the clock isn't. I have it in a somewhat dark corner on my counter and it's virtually impossible to tell which buttons are which, have to use my cellphone flashlight sometimes to find buttons that I don't use often. My biggest complaint is the Dinner Plate/Reheat button. It goes for 8 minutes (EIGHT MINUTES). Even at a lower power, with food straight from the fridge on a cold plate, you can't leave food in there for more than 3 minutes or it'll scorch it. Not sure who designed that one. I don't use the Popcorn, Potato, etc buttons so I can't speak to those

Solid microwave, is wide enough to fit the typical large platter plate with a plastic microwave cover. The buttons and functions are easier to understand the function for. For us, just wanted to match the microwave with the other whirlpool appliances and has been solid so far. If anything, would consider a more powerful microwave but on balance it is solid all around.

I wanted a small microwave for our basement, and this little Whirlpool has worked great. It heats nicely and works as expected. A couple of cons are the noise level when it’s done, and the fact that you can’t put in a specific time to heat. It’s one minute, two minutes, three minutes etc. This is fine, but I stay close so food doesn’t bubble over.

Just ok. The door is loud, and feels cheap. Its takes longer to heat up food than my previous microwave. It’s small and compact which is fine and what I was looking for. I wouldn’t recommend. There has got to be something better out there in the smal microwave market.

I was looking for a specific size microwave to fit in my cabinet and this one fit the bill. Unfortunately it just didn't have enough power to do much of anything. I tested heating water in a cup and it didn't even to that effectively. I exchanged for a different model.

Great size and easy to use with preset times for cooking

Great price. This is powerful, it heats up pretty quick and really good, easy to clean, the beep is loud enough for you to hear ince its done and it beeps a min after if you have not taken the food out. You can set the time on it and also silence it. A good purchase

Works well it’s pretty powerful had to get these one since my first order of it was defective. The replacement is in excellent condition not with detents as I paid for a new condition rather than open one that was first send out.

Purchased this item as part of my efforts to update my parent's simple kitchen. Needed something simple for my elderly parents to operate. I could not have been more satisfied. Whirlpool makes great quality products.
