Replaced my 17 year old whirlpool front load with an updated version. Very happy. Hope this one last as long. Much quieter operation. Even fits my 17 year old generic pedestal. Not paying a stupid price for a pedestal!!!

The Whirlpool 4.5 cubic feet front load washer is impressively quiet and offers ample space for large loads. It’s designed with user-friendliness in mind, featuring a simple interface with minimal buttons, making it easy to operate without any hassle. This washer combines efficiency with convenience, providing a seamless laundry experience. I just hope there is an option for the door to open left or right would help for apartment that have fixed location.

Haven't had long enough to really say how great it is; which is the reason why I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5. If it's still running great in like 5 or 7 years then yeah I'd give it 5 stars. Also it would be nice if you could switch the door swing, because it swings left and it'd be better for me if it swung right. However that's on me for not think about that aspect, but that's a minor inconvenience that doesn't truly bother me. Anyway after getting it installed, leveled, and familiarizing myself with the control panel it was easy to use. Washed a few loads and they had most of the water spun out of them. And it was nice and quiet. So I'm happy with it so far, but we'll see how it is long term.

A little confusing at first going from an older-school washer to this one, but once I got the language set - and learning a tiny bit of French to do so - works swell, quiet as can be. Provided it's not set to fast spin cycle, then I can hear it down in the basement shaking a little. Had to fiddle with the detergent gate to figure out how to lock it in the down position for liquid detergent, so other than that, very straightforward, good investment to replace a broken washer.

The washer seems to work ok. It does not compare to the Maytag I had to replace. I don't like the fact that a complete user manual is not included. The quick start guide may or may not apply to the model I purchased. I shouldn't have to go online to obtain one.

Very Quiet great capasity. This not my first Whirlpool washer. Also my refrigerator.

We really like this and were happy the unit went on sale as we would not have bought it at full price. It works really great with liquid, but when we use powder, sometime that seems to have a bit of residual powder after the cycle that sits in the door. Not really an issue, but annoying. Also, to start the unit, we have to hold the power butt for 10 seconds as it "resets", so either we are doing something wrong or that is another minor annoyance. VictorB

Excellent appliance. Very easy to use, but the touch buttons are slightly sensitive.

We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet this machine operates. Even on the more vigorous cycles, the noise level is minimal, allowing us to do laundry without disturbing the rest of the household. We love the sanitation cycle for our pets and rescue.

The biggest complaint that I have about this machine is that the instructions for use are absolutely inadequate and confusing. I had a big learning curve with this machine, but now that I’ve figured it out, I am happy with how well it performs. I don’t like the fact that when it is in the spin cycle, it nearly shakes the house apart. Literally the whole house vibrates. One foot was mutilated inside of the shipping packages so I think someone in the factory dragged it out on one foot and packed it up with the damaged foot still on. Every thing else was fine.

Unfortunately we were not happy with this purchase. It did not have the qual9ty of our previously purchased Whirlpool which lasted 15+ years. Door didn't shut without slamming, did not always complete cycle. difficult to set each time for repeated wash cycles and felt like it was cheaply built Decided to return it for a different brand.

This item is more efficient and economical than I imagined. Clothes come out fresh and clean and it does not take forever to wash large bundles of clothing. I a super happy with this purchase!! Full size front loaders that don’t take up a lot of space.

I am very happy with this washer! It runs quietly, and handles loads of all size quite efficiently. The wash cycles are quick yet thorough. It’s user-friendly and looks great in my laundry area too. Highly recommended.

I've had my washer for a month and so far I am very please with the product. Fast, easy and professional delivery. I added the total protection plan which gives me the peace of mind in the event my washer has any issues down the line.

We are glad we purchased this Whirlpool appliance, as its dimensions work for us [washing machine under an established counter] and the price was reasonable given its functions.

Excellent product but took some experimenting to turn on quickly. Horrible experience with delivery and set up.

cycle times are extremely long run times. Instruction manual does not give any instruction on best uses of dial and buttons to maximize the best use of the washer.

We've only had it a short time, and no issues. Seems well made. Price was reasonable. The floor staff at the Emeryville/Oakland store were GREAT!
