I purchased this Whirlpool washer and dryer because my 26 + year old Whirlpool top load washer just stopped agitating. These look perfect in my laundry room and I felt Best Buy gave me a great deal! I have so many Whirlpool appliances, so I trust Whirlpool. I wasn't convinced my clothes were clean since I've always had an agitator, but after I tried the deep wash cycle, I was convinced my clothes are clean. I assumed the water would fill the huge drum, but was so happy to see it just saturated my clothes. It does make knocking noises, unlike my old washer, but Best Buy added 2 water hammers which seems to have helped. The staff at Best Buy are very knowledgeable and go above and beyond to be sure their customers are satisfied!

This is an amazing washing machine in all ways. We shopped for a month to decide on this particular model, which was a better fit for us than the highly popular Cabrio model, because my wife is only 5’ tall and couldn’t reach all the way to the bottom of the tub on the Cabrio, but she can on this model, which is only .5 cu ft smaller capacity than the Cabrio. Very happy with this purchase...wife says it’s the best washer and dryer set she has ever had!

Have had this machine for 30 days, it was bad from the start but I wanted to try all the settings to try to get it to work. My clothes come out of the washer DIRTY!! half of them don't even get wet ( not even sure how that's possible,) I put in 1/2 load and got 1 inch of water to wash with. Worst customer service EVER!! No returns after 15 DAYS!! Only do laundry once a week Used it 4 times. I would never buy anything here again with a 15 day return policy. Basically throwing out the washer!!! That is not lint in the pic and its also not detergent!!!!! In fact it is destroying my clothes!!

This washer is easy to use, stylish, and has a very large capacity and variety of settings. My only complaint is that it is so big inside that I have trouble reaching all the clothes after they are clean.

The Whirlpool washer and dryer meets all of our needs for size, features, and color. They will match the other Whirlpool stainless steel appliances we purchased. They were offered at a great price we can’t wait for them to be delivered.

This thing is absolute garbage and whirlpool customer service is a joke. I’ve tried every combination of cycles, prewash, extra rinse, deep cycle, spot treating before using the washer and clothes come out stained and sometimes with patches that didn’t even get wet. It’s disappointing when my wife sent an email to whirlpool and explained we tried all these things and their response made it completely clear that they didn’t even read her email because they said try everything we already had tried and claimed they have nothing on file about there being issues with this washer mode. Save your money and get a different washer.

We love our new washer. Small but mighty!!!! So glad we made the switch from Samsung.

Very good product, good size and good for all family use

Easy to use, quiet, and washes well. Nice big capacity so I can wash a king size comforter. Water savings are good. I prefer a top loader because the front loaders seem to suffer from mildew smell unless you leave them open all the time, which I won’t remember to do. Also love the option for dark gray, it looks cool!

Its been 4 years and my washing machine is still amazing

I have used this washing machine for about a month now, and it seems to do a great job of cleaning. I read and researched heavily before I decided on this particular model. I wanted a reliable product made in the USA. After hearing about the mold issues with front loaders, I decided I wanted a top loader. This model is easy to use and the color is great. If you follow directions and read the manual, you shouldn't have any problems. Make sure you use HE detergents. The amount of time it takes to wash depends on the setting and contents. The controls make the unit look sleek and are easy to use. The washer will make all of the necessary adjusts, depending on your settings, which is another great feature. Today, I washed a Cal-King sized comforter, and it had no problem with large, heavy loads. My only complaint is that it is a bit squeaky in the spin cycle, and that may be because of the unevenness of my slate floors. Time will tell if it holds up, but I purchased the five year Geek Squad plan, just in case.

Had to say bye to my 17 year old front load whirlpool W/D. They still worked just renovating laundry room. Researched for several weeks and realized whirlpool won out again for our needs. I absolutely love my top load . SIMPLE to use and the outcome is perfect....YES it makes noises when it starts ......That means it’s working..........love the built in faucet.....did not purchase for that function but sure comes in handy... looking forward to another 20 years with my WHIRPOOL!

I've had my Whirlpool Washing Machine for almost a month now. It's a treat to have a washing machine that thoroughly cleans my clothing even if it is a super large load. There's no agitator in the middle to hinder the load. The way the machine works to clean my clothes seems to be very unique compared to my old machine which was also a Whirlpool. The lid is clear, so I'm able to see how the wash is being done. The machine seems to weigh and balance the load before dispensing the detergent and slowly adding water as the tub rotates. It agitates like a person hand washing. I've used the faucet button inside the machine next to the detergent dispenser to do stain removal. Great feature since I don't have a sink nearby. The digital settings play like a piano when you make your choices. The digital settings are very easy to use. It's also great to tell how long the wash will take once it's set. It does a count down, so if I check on it, I can see how much more time is left. When the wash is finished, the word, "END", stays on the screen until you lift the lid. My clothes dry faster because the machine drains and spins so well. I think the time it takes to wash my clothes it very good. I haven't tried the "Quick Wash" setting yet. I'm very happy with my new Whirlpool Washing Machine.

I researched washers for about a month before I chose this one. Been using this washer for about 3 weeks now and I must say I obsessed!!! I love doing laundry now that I know how clean my clothes are getting! I love the “sink” inside the washer, I love the deep water option, as I feel you NEED water to get clothes clean, it’s very simple to use and my clothes come out smelling amazing! Not to mention the spin cycle is so good they are barely wet when they’re complete! I bought the matching drying and it’s takes about an hour total to complete my whole cycle of laundry! Happy momma, happy wife, happy life!

The pump on our 15-year-old washer was going out. so we decided to replace both our washer and dryer. We were a little nervous about making the change because we had no experience with the new energy efficient models, and the some of the reviews were rather scary. We went to our local Best Buy store and talked to a very helpful associate who helped us understand what we were getting into. We found a set that we really liked, and to make things even better, they were on sale. We had the appliances delivered and setup, and the old appliances removed. The installers gave us a quick course on using the new washer and dryer. This was a big help in getting us started with our new appliances. Some reviewers complained about the units being noisy. Ours is not any noisier than our old washer, in fact, it's usually quieter. Some reviewers complained about the clothes being too wet after the spin cycle. We had this happen once, but after reading the user manual, we made a small change and this problem stopped. Yes, the wash cycles are not as quick as the older style washers, but we don't find this to be a problem. The bottom line is that we really love our new washer, and we have no problem recommending it to others. If you're new to energy efficient washers, you need to read the manual and be willing to experiment a little bit. If you do this, we think you will end up loving your new washer just like we do ours.

Wow, what a great improvement over my previous washer! It is very quiet, does not shake at all, and the capacity is huge. The blue lights on the display are pleasant and the chime at the end of the cycle is nice. The grey color and the overall finish on the machine is excellent. Most important, it washes the clothes really well. The only concern I have is that the drum is not completely stainless steel. The bottom part looks like a plastic material. Not sure if that will turn yellow over time.

Never been the one to really invest into appliances! But after doing a little research this was the best thing ever. Love the way it looks but what’s really awesome is the way it works. The buttons are easy to use, it washes so quite, and fast. My clothes comes out looking so fresh and so clean.

I recently had to replace my washing machine and I have always loved Whirlpool products. I have no complaints about this washing machine, other than it does not like certain blankets when spinning the water out, it becomes off balance. Otherwise it is great! Uses less water and definitely gets the clothes clean!

[This review is NOT because of my receiving a "promotion" offer.] Just came back here to say that I purchased this item in 2018. It is now 2024 and I am forced to purchase yet another washing machine because this "Assembled in USA" appliance is dead. 100% DEAD. Control board fried itself under LESS THAN NORMAL USE. Time to bite the bullet and purchase a Speed Queen. No need for a BOT reply either. Those pathetic BOT REPLIES NEVER ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING and are an INSULT to "consumers". Hey Whirlpool, want to make it right? Send an APOLOGY for wasting my time and my MONEY and just replace this SIX YEAR OLD lightly used machine. PERIOD. This thing is JUNK.
