Let down
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a wrestling fan since 1984. I keep buying these video games each year and the last good game made was around 2014. The game play is not as good as it used to be and this year's version had a lot of errors in which the game developer had to create so many updates. This game was rushed or something. I have this played this game only a few times unlike the previous years where I would play for hours into the months.

Awesome bday gift for any WWE fan
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband got this for me for my bday. Great value as it brings the deluxe edition game, a piece of the ring skirt from a Smackdown live show, an autograph by either Edge, Rey Mysterio, or Kurt Angle (I got Rey) and numerous downloadable additions. 4 stars because there’s some bugs to work out

I tried but I tap out
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wrestling fans and gamers alike, I tried but I tap out. Where do I start? From a graphically challenged money grab by 2k or from the disdain that 2k has for its customers? I am a lifelong wrestling fan which goes to say lifelong wrestling game fan as well. When first 2k first announced they would publish WWE games I had a sense of joy thinking they would bring the myCareer success that was so great on Nba 2k over and make the wrestling games better year over year. Instead we got 2K14 and 15 which kept us thinking the series will get better not good but ok. Then 16 and 17 hit and we say you know what these are good games. Then you have the terrible 2k18 that hits the scene letting you know that 2k is just a money grab and we can expect nothing more from this series. 2k19 hits and shocks us all with such great game play. Still missing key this that made past wwe/wcw game great, but this game is repayable. Then you have 2k20 hit…(pause) 2k, take-two, did you look at this game before you put it to the press and make physical copies? This game makes me feel like you said we have a deadline just publish it. Clearly you pulled scans from 2000, 2001 (when ps2 was hot) and tried to render them in a 4k environment. (Fail). Don’t buy this game, glad I used gift cards otherwise I would be out $130 bones. The graphics are tragic, the game play is slow and unbearable. The new controls are the worst part, and glitches let’s not go there. I can count on one hand of times where the game worked correctly. If you want to feel disrespected this is the game for you. I know how to figure out where to throw this game as a return is out of the question. The Rey Mysterio signature I got is nice. I am done with 2k

Many glitches
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Te game has issues as many other games seem to have lately. About the same play as previous years. The bonus content was so-so this year. Overall it was okay...

Game is trash but love it
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s the best worst game of the year and I can’t play it now but I loved it while it lasted. The smack down Version items were basic for $120.

Still a good wrestling game
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is starting to show its age. The graphics are meh. They really suck at keeping it up to date. But there is still plenty of fun to be had.

Another year... another pushed release
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I get the game every year due to excitement of new talent - this year boasts the first appearance of Keith Lee for example. The gameplay has gone backwards and special edition didn’t feel that special, only got due to all the dlc costs being covered by this anyway

Buggy and a disappointment
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game has several issues that prevent people from enjoying it. Glitches left and right and poor controls. The collectors edition items are cool but not enough to forgive the developer. Hopefully future patches will make the game worth playing.
