Awesome! But Needs User Spec Changes.

Great card. The AMD software is iffy around this card though. There's "rage mode" which is supposed to support constant clock speeds but it doesn't change the fan cooling curve. This caused a few games to have issues after a few hours of play. The other issue is the clock speeds fluctuate farrrrr too much. So it causes fps dips and jitter. I had to manually set it only go between 1800mhz and 2180mhz on games (the specs says boost can hit 2340) but I didn't want to push it out of spec. The next thing I did was change the fan curve. I dropped the "zero cooling" auto and set it to slowly curve up to max 100% cooling at 70*c. Their orginal capped at 60% cooling even at 90*c thats nearly 200*f... Since I've made the changes above its never gone above 72*c and is a little louder but its whisper quiet. Game stability is through the roof! It not dipping to 90mhz (yes the auto software does that) just becauase I looked at a wall and then turned around to see the world has made a immeasurable difference in game play. Your ram and cpu work the same way. Going from 5 to 500mph takes more time than 450 to 500. Not sure if it's intentional so people think their hardware sucks or just negligence on the developer. Love the card, but I had to do a lot of leg work which is annoying. I've added what the system defaults are, and my changes. This doesn't reflect their other profiles, because the "min frequency" will dip wellll below 500mhz in game. I had no games running so the mhz was at desktop levels.

Got a chance to compare this with a 3090ti and (without Ray Tracing) this card can hold its own at 4k. FPS is very very close!

This beauty is gorgeous in the all-black. Very quiet and very easy to overclock. Game performance is top-notch, and I can easily play at max settings with RT off in most titles.

Not much else to say that can't be seen in professional reviews. The only qualm anyone ever had against the 6900 XT was inflated pricing during the shortages. But now that it's not only available, but available below the original MSRP..

Upgrading from 2 x GTX 1080s in SLI. Before I was never able to enable Ray Tracing without getting a massive performance hit. This card handles everything great! I game at 1440p and with ray tracing range from 80-90 fps with Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It can be a little loud and there is some coil whine. Though not enough to really notice while gaming. I've purchased a water block to keep the card cooler and quieter.

Very good gaming graphics card. Handles games at 1440 p and 4k without getting too hot. With GPU prices of this gen dropping even more reason to buy. It is a chunky graphics card though, so make sure it fits in your case before buying.

    Beast of a 1440p GPU

Beast of a 1440p GPU. No complaints, really. If you don't overvalue ray tracing, which I'd hazard a guess you don't if you're even considering it, this is the card for you. The only real give back is no DLSS. But FSR is improving with each iteration, so this card could age really well. That saud, XFX makes a quality product. It's a HUGE piece of kit, but fits easily in my Phanteks P400A and on my MSI Tomahawk mobo. I did buy a support for it, $10 well spent. As for value/performance, I was lucky and picked it up for $650, but I see the price (at the time of this review) is up to $780. At that price point, you might consider the 7900 XT at $900. Even at that, I'd wait till the price softens a bit for the current gen cards.

This card will let you play any game completely maxed out at 4k/60. It's freaking glorious and if you want to hit 120/144/even higher FPS, it certainly can. They'll look phenomenal too with so many new games supporting the ever growing library of FSR 2.x touting titles. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this card and XFX's Black/Merc edition 6000 series cards in general. Their cooling solutions are way over-engineered and it pays off with higher clock speeds, lower temps and higher frame rates.

Good graphics card. I waited to write a review for this card to get some good use out of it. Unfortunately my original card I ordered bricked on my after less than 6 months. XFX made it right and set me a new (to me) card. I can see now that the original card was a dud from the get go. This one I have now is better in ever way. The performance is slightly better and the temps are significantly better. Anyone looking for a 1440p-4k card will be happy with this one. I just can't speak to the longevity.

Excellent value when I purchased it on sale. Without Ray tracing, performance exceeds the terribly valued RTX 4070 and IMO will perform better in 1440p and 4k games than a RTX 4070ti as Vram usage is increasing with newer games. The cost to performance is staggering when you factor in, that this high end 3rd party card exceeda that of the msrp priced 4070 and goes head to head with a 4070ti while being more 2.5yrs old

Picked this up on Black Friday for $650. Running 5700x, 32gb 16-22-22-42 on a 3440x1440p ultra wide. I'm able to play most modern titles on ultra and get over 120fps depending on the title. For what I paid it is an amazing price to performance ratio. Runs very cool as well, rarely goes above 68c at load.

Decent card that works well in my little server (18 core/36 thread Xeon) for everyday use and can even drive a 4k and 5k (2160p) monitor at the same time with no problem.

I must say this 6900xt is one beast of a card. I am able to game on 4k with most games above 90fps. I also have the Samsung Odyssey G9 and this card is able to handle the monitor. Gaming has never looked so amazing. I've read the other reviews about people crying saying this card isn't for gaming. They must be running this 6900xt in a potato or something. Yeah it's a little bit on the over priced but then again it is a flagship card also so to each their own. You want a cheaper card them get you something under the 6900xt and stop crying. Also this card performs even better once it's watercooled. I was originally trying to get me a 3080 or 3090 but when I saw this card was available I took a chance and I must say I sure am a happy customer.
