A: I myself thought the same thing. I’ve been using the “Deep fill” with the “deep wash” feature and it works great! From there you can adjust the “soil” “spin” “rinse” etc. You can then pretty much customize your wash cycle. The machine will then adjust itself depending on the size load you put in. That’s what those weird symbols are after you hit the start button.
A: Hi, I’ve been having the same issue, I’m about to have a panic attack Jk. It’s really frustrating! I went on YouTube for help and I heard that technical support said that you can’t use softener and detergent in the same cycle, if you realize when detergent its on the softener will turn off, but I would be glad if one of then worked, I can’t get neither one to work.

The first is the SmartThings app and the second is the Smart Care app. Smart Care is a diagnostic tool that can be used when an information code appears on the display. SmartThings is an app that can be used for Smart Control where the washing machine can be controlled via the app. I have shared this model's user manual link below.
