Best Phone EVER!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has to be the fastest phone I have ever had. It's the best phone camera I have ever had. I thought the S6 plus looked pretty cool, but I thought I would break my trend and jump to the NOTE, since it's the same specs. I really appreciate the stylus. Samsung Pay is insane. I LOVE to go into places and pay with my phone, after the cashier tells me they are not set up for mobile payments. They look at me like I am some sort of Wizard. Beautiful screen, excellent battery life, comfortable.... How do I give this 6 stars???

I am floored
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am kind of a gear head when it comes to phones. I have never had a phone this snappy. Coming from the S2, S3, S4, and S5, I am genuinely impressed. Every click is instant. The camera comes up with two taps of the home button. I can walk down the street, take a picture, and it's not blurry!!! Low light photos are pretty decent. Same megapixel rating as my S4 and S5, but much more detail in the photos! Pros: Incredibly fast. Can run emulators for more advanced systems without crackle. Battery life is amazing -- 100% at 8:30a; 90% at 2:09p. (Varies on some days, but the fast charge is quick.) I didn't have my phone sitting right on the inductive charger last night. It was at 40% this morning. Charged it in the car for 20 minutes and here at work for 30 minutes. It was at 100%. My co-worker has a plain S6, and his battery does not last like mine. (Could be that he gets a weaker signal where he sits.) Internal memory truly is way faster than my super-fast micro-SD. Photo gallery pictures populate almost instantly. Fingerprint sensor is way slicker than the S5's. Cons: They got rid of the IR blaster. No more remote control :-(. Memory card and battery are not removable, but WOW! I don't worry much about battery anymore, but really preferred my Mophie (for my S5) over previous bulkier batteries. Would be nice to have a place to store music on an external card. Hoping for an Incipio battery/memory case for this phone. Meanwhile 64GB of screaming fast memory is plenty. I hate to be this hooked on this phone, but 4GB of RAM and 8-cores are killer. I am even getting into the whole s-pen craze. I am going to attach an image. I will only crop the photo, show zoom section of tree, and save at PhotoShop 72% jpeg format.

mediocre upgrade from note 4
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Notice phone overall but I'm disappointed that they sealed the battery in and made it with no card slot for a micro SD card ...is should have came with a battery double the size than what's in it or should have had the option like the memory of the size battery

Great Phone, But Pricey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First things first, this is my first new phone in years, moving up from a Samsung Galaxy S3. I have been hemming and hawing about buying a new phone and looking at phones every time I get into the store….much to my wife’s chagrin, it’s probably been e year since my “research” started. The phone obviously much larger than my previous, but that is nice for someone who is getting up in years and has issues with seeing small print. The screen is very bright and extremely clear. The phone is very fast, and has not experienced lag with any of the applications that I have loaded. I expect this from a phone with an Octo-Core. I am still getting used to the s-pen and have not used it much, but the screen off memo feature is really useful. Basically, you can jot down a quick note when you remove the s-pen and the phone is locked, without having to unlock the phone first. This has proven useful for me for business and the quick grocery list type of memo item. The reception is much better than my previous phone and I have yet to lose a call, even in spots where my old phone did so. No issues with battery life, which lasts for a day and half with moderate usage. Heavy use, i.e.: streaming music, leaving apps open, wireless + Wi-Fi active, screen always one etc…battery lasts for a solid day. Much better than I would have expected from a multi core phone with a super AMOLED large display. Now for the down sides, which are very few from what I have been able to determine. Samsung has gone the way of integrated memory with no options for expansion. This was one of the major reasons why I shied away from Apple in the beginning. Additionally, this phone is pricey, especially when you opt for the “64G more memory” version, which I did. I am still suffering from sticker shock. The battery is non-replaceable without sending it to the “factory”. Hopefully, it won’t be a problem, but if it is, it means being without a phone for a bit unless you have a protection plan (added $$$, like we need that after spending all this money a on a phone). Its last downside is the Samsung wireless charging puck that came as a special when I purchased this phone. It has all sorts of issues and only works intermittently. Agrgevating to say teh least. Will be bringin it back for another, which will hopefully work better. Granted, this isn’t a phone issue per say, but it did detract from my initial experience. So, if you’re looking for the latest and greatest in phones, like the s-pen and are willing to pay a premium price, this phone is for you. I would suggest spending the $$ if you can afford them to get as much memory as you can. If the s-pen isn't your thing, then look at the S6 Edge+, which is basically a Note5 without the s-pen and with the "edgey stuff"....which by the way is pretty neat too. But beware with any of the Edge phones as they have yet to make an edge to edge (sorry for the pun) screen protector or a "bullet proof" case like the otter box defender for them.

Best Galaxy Phone I Have Ever Owned!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to try the Galaxy Note 5, after reading a lot of articles and reviews of the phone. I was very skeptical, as my wife and I both had the Galaxy S5. We love the Galaxy S5, for is flexible, removable storage options, the easily removable battery, and the IR blaster. And we love how reliable it is. I was dead set against giving up my flexible storage, and my accessible battery. I have to say, now, that I don't even miss those things. The Galaxy Note 5 is a solid, sturdy, flexible phone that has proven itself a more than worthy upgrade from the S5. I made sure that I got the 64gb, for plenty of storage. The S Pen has proven itself to be extremely useful. The fingerprint reader is echelon's above the one on the Galaxy S5! The camera is AMAZING! The extra screen real estate has made reading items displayed very easy! Well worth every penny! I liked it so much, and my wife liked it so much, that we got her one, a month later! We bought both phones from Best Buy, who's associates made the purchase easy. At the time of purchase for both phones, Best Buy was offering a $100 gift card with purchase. We decided to purchase the phones on a payment plan, and we're able to use the gift cards to pay for the taxes, etc... and we evendors had some left on the card for accessories! Sweet deal! We will buy all our phones from Best Buy, going forwards!

Q: QuestionQuestion about this deal vs straight from VerizonDirectly through verizon, they offer their own device payments system for about the same cost over 2 years, but not attached to a contract. With a phone on their 3gb plan doing that, monthly bill is $20 line access + 45 for 3GB data, unlimited talk/text. How does this plan through Best Buy differ? It looks like paying $349.99 and then 2 years of $32/month on Verizons device payment is paying an additional $349.99 for no reason? Also they seem to charge $40 for line access instead of $20 for contract phones.
Asked by Kuso.
- A:Answer I am just a Verizon customer and have nothing to do with Best Buy or Verizon in any way, but I think I can give you some info. I think the confusion is that you are looking at two different plans. The contract plan is the $349.99 down and then the $40 line access fee. You do not pay an additional $32 a month on top of the $349.99. The Device Payment Plan is where you would put $0 down and then pay $32 a month. The line access fee is then $20 instead of the $40 (it is how Verizon is trying to get the cost down to compete with the other carriers). With the contract plan you are in it for 2 years and have to pay an early termination fee if you decide to upgrade or leave Verizon before that time. With the Device Payment Plan you are basically buying the phone, at full retail, spread out over 24 interest free payments. You are not under a contract and can buy out the remainder of your Device "loan" at any time if you want to upgrade or leave Verizon. I am not 100% sure, but I think the plans are the same at Best Buy and Verizon. I think Best Buy is just giving you a wireless charger and a gift card to win your business. I hope that helps a bit.

Q: QuestionCan you add a memory card to the Note 5 PhoneNote 5 additional memory card
Asked by Marcus40.
- A:Answer No. Unfortunately, Samsung has gone "Apple" and does not accommodate a memory card. Disappointing to say the least.

Q: QuestionOff Contract DealIf I buy off contract would I still be eligible for the $250 gift card?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I did exactly that and YES I got the $250 gift card. My 'original' contract must be adhered to till its end, then I must continue payment on the Note5. As soon as my original contract is completed, I am free to do whatever I choose to do. You are able to pre-pay the cost of the new instrument should you choose to do that.

Q: QuestionHow much is the monthly?

- A:Answer Hello! I'm Chris, with Best Buy Mobile. At the time of this posting, the Note 5 is 29$ a month, for 24 months through Verizon Wireless. To check yourself, visit www.vzw.com. This is before any possibly required deposits VZW may ask for depending on the results of an industry-standard credit check.
